The guy only confirmed that, left after two minutes, and charged us 112euro. We then got a quote for a fix of over 550 euros that included a new valve, expansion vessel, and sensor which turned out to be completely unnecessary. We got another quote and the only parts that were changed were a pressure sensor and a valve, which with the labour totalled less than 200 euros.

Halfway through the window their guy called to say he was 20 minutes away and hey presto 20 minutes later he shows up just as promised. He quickly traced the problem to the main trap, and within 30 minutes he had it cleared and cleaned and back in action. Both the office staff and technician were friendly, professional and efficient; they quoted us a fair price up front for the first hour and were done well within it. I can't imagine being told that no sewage was leaving your house for an unspecified period is ever going to be a pleasant experience but these folks made resolving it easy and painless.
