So, I stopped in to cancel my membership. The manager, Amanda, explained to me that I could put a medical freeze on my account for 3 months until I speak to my doctor on his recommendations. I believe she said they allow for 6 months for a medical condition to freeze payments if need be. She was so very nice and very informative!!!! She made the process so easy and I'll be back hopefully in the near future.

It's almost as if the owners are ok making money off a larger pool of consumers than following a time tested Planet Fitness model. But it's the only one within 30 minutes for our rural communities, and again, at least it's here. Staff are still doing their best.

Not only did they have a blast, but thanks to the encouragement and support shown by Mike and Chad, they were able to feel proud of how hard they worked and what they were able to accomplish. Every single one of those kids left Ninja-Logic feeling good about themselves and about their friendships with each other. Ninja-Logic isn't about competing against each other (though there was a little bit of healthy competition), it is about personal triumphs. As a parent, I was a little emotional watching the kids encourage one another and watching the grit and determination they had to conquer difficult obstacles. Finally, I've been to ninja gyms before, and I have to say that this one was cleaner, much more appealing to the eye, and appeared to be safer than others I've seen. I wish I could do two different ones because the…read morepreschool class my granddaughter is in now has a phenomenal instructor who genuinely engages with the kids and teaches them basics ("Miss C") which is a definite improvement from the daytime teacher ("Miss B") who literally stands outside of the gate ignoring them making it a total free for all and griping to anyone that she "hates" teaching this class (my daughter heard her in the main office). This same young girl is now in the big gym with older (but still little..maybe 7yo?) girls and is always screaming at them and rolling her eyes. She's more interested in talking with her young helper and showing off her tattoos and ridiculous finger nails...not to mention her HIGHLY inappropriate shorts!!! I haved already told my daughter that once my granddaughter is old enough to be in the big gym, she needs to go somewhere else rather than have Miss B again. She definitely doesn't express the YMCA image and the way she acts is NOT a supportive environment for young children. I wanted to talk to someone when I was down there last week after watching my granddaughters class but there was noone at the gymnastics desk.

I got there super early and was let in by Hunter, who showed me around and introduced me to the owner. I was nervous, but welcomed. All the other athletes were friendly and the trainer, Audrey, was tremendous. Good explanations, positive feedback and a killer dynamic warmup, class, and core cool down. Man!
