I'm vegetarian and there are four veggie options on the menu and a couple of dishes that look like they could be adapted. I had the tofu yee mee; a soup of Freud egg noodles, silken tofu and veggies. It was so tasty that if I didn't know it was vegetarian I'd worry it had fish sauce in it! The portion is massive (especially for $13) so I didn't have room for anything else but I spied on someone's curry puffs and they looked amazing too. Looking forward to getting back for another meal and will defiantly be putting it into our regular take away rotation.

The flavor and freshness of the ingredients were outstanding! The service was welcoming and attentive ready with tons of great advice on there menu ( in which I don't think you could make a wrong choice!) I had the pork soup and my wife had the dumpling soup both were terrific! By the time that we were finishing up my beautiful date for the evening was already making plans to visit it again! That being said we are absolutely returning and we would strongly suggest it to anyone in within 50km!

Looks can be deceiving. I didn't know what to expect when I entered this Vietnamese Sandwich gem…read more Thank you Mister Truong's I loved my time in your shop. I ordered the "Chicken Schnitzel" roll. It had all the fixings that one would expect on a Bahn mi and it was only $7, I have to say the roll was amazing. The bread was crunchy, flaky, and chewy all at once ! I also got the "tofu rice paper roll" 4 pieces for $9. I really liked these because they where made fresh. Most of the other shops have these all pre made and sitting out. I'm sure they are fine but I won't try them. Overall this place gets 5 stars ! My tummy is full and I loved it all. I will definitely return to this shop. I think the most popular sandwich is the "Crispy Roast Pork", I saw 5 people order this one after I ordered mine and they looked incredible. I will try it soon. Thank you !

This unassuming little place is actually a great spot for some legit Vietnamese street food along…read moreChapel street with a strong family restaurant vibe to it. It has all the usual street food fare such as banh mi, pho and rice rolls plus a little twist here and there. We had the chicken special pho and the crispy pork pho. The soup in both phos was packed with great traditional Vietnamese flavors and mellow tones of anise. The chicken special was made of sliced of steamed (?) chicken which were pretty dry and uninteresting but the soup and the toppings helped to elevate that a bit. The crispy pork was made of oven roasted pork belly with the crispy top attached for the full banging pork roast experience. I'm usually not into crispy fried stuff drenched in soup but the pork skin stays crisp and the pork belly fat and crisp work in synergy to enrich the soup while being elevated by the flavors packed in the broth - just your plain awesome pho! The price mark also hits the mark with phos starting at 9$ and and the combos peaking at 13, a great value for this kind of pho. I took off one point due to the cleanliness of the venue, but if you like an old skool grimey looking family restaurant this one's a highly recommended fiver.
