Up to this point, being retired from the fire service, including many years as a paramedic, I was comfortable and preferred to provide primary care for my sweetheart. As her needs increased, I initially hired another company based on recommendations from friends...even though my gut was telling me to hire Machelle and Keen. When the initial provider failed to provide their promised level of service and personal caring, I called Machelle looking for help. Mom had her own beautiful comfortable room, gifted caregivers 24-7, access to in-home coordinated medical appointments, med management, healthy personalized meals of choice, daily activities, music, aromatherapy, and gentle hygienic personal care. Mom needed special attention with meals and other needs which Infinite Love's Home Care staff enthusiastically provided at all hours. He assisted us again in June when my mother required surgery and needed some assistance when she returned home. We had people lined up a week in advance. We were able to - with notice - revise the plans as my mom didn't need the night care we anticipated. Katie was my mom's day nurse and she was terrific - as are all of the LWHC staff. That same love and commitment has been provided by the caregivers,who I see,firsthand,taking care of Nadia.They make sure she has the best nutrition and physical comfort that is possible at this critical time. This includes regular checks of her blood pressure,temperature,pulse,rotation of the body to prevent bed sores,feeding nutritional foods,adjustments to the window for fresh ocean air,washing her body and hair,trimming her nails,raising and lowering the bed for maximum comfort and facilitating proper digestion of the foods and drinks. This place kept my mom alive for the last 4 years with dementia, up until we had to put her on hospice care which she past away in the home. Don't get me wrong it takes a team effort to keep a person alive and strong in the senior care industry and most people think that they pay for care and are hands off after that, as it should run on its own.
