Every component of the bowl was spot on. Everything harmonized so well together. It was Mexican rice, black beans, diced tomatoes, grilled peppers and onions. I opted for the pulled pork and it was finished off with chipotle mayo and sour cream. It was sooo delicious! These were the best grilled onions and peppers. They were delicately diced and the peppers and purple onions were perfectly caramelized. You could not have asked for a more perfect Mexi Bowl. Being from Texas, I was impressed with the fresh ingredients and how it totally gave me Mexican-vibes. Great job! Throughout lunch service all the outdoor table filled up on a Monday, so that totally tell you how busy this place can get- but not surprising. The food here was great and to forgot to mention how delicious my citrus beverage was (I think it was lemonade, pineapple and soda water). Overall, Redneck Bistro was a true delight. Because it's so crisp and delicious. I have a little inside information for you. They make their dough on location. All of their vegetables are hand chopped, their salad dressings and pizza dressings are homemade. Even their macaroni salad is yummy and made on location. Since 1969 Nicks has been buying full chickens and cutting them on location. Check out all the fun ads on Instagram. And don't even get me started about Fish Fridays. The first time I ordered fish and chips, it was handed to me in a pizza box and I thought they had made a mistake but it's because the fish is so big and so flaky and so tasty that it needs to sit in a large box. Fries were ok, nothing special and the coleslaw wasn't too my taste as well, very finely grated and such a small portion. So not a very good value, $17.00 for the Haddock and $12.00 for the clam strips. Probably the best option locally, but doesn't compare to many other fish and chip places around.
