This morning I made the hour drive because my daughter loved the chocolate buttercream ones so much. I ordered two dozen so we could share with friends and I ordered online. There is a place to type your order (no dropdown for their flavors) and I was careful to type it myself. I paid for these online, but when I arrived to pick them up I added two more items, so a rather expensive bakery purchase over all. When I opened the box, I found chocolate filled instead of chocolate buttercream. I told the women that this is not what I ordered and I would like to switch them. The woman who was in charge asked to see my receipt and it said chocolate on the receipt. I told her that was not what I ordered or wanted. She said "well that's what it says on the receipt." And then she said "we can give you buttercream but you will have to pay for it." So obviously they had the chocolate buttercream and could have simply switched them out. I told them this was very poor customer service and a poor way to run a business. Especially for someone with a large order driving there from out of town. No one had touched the croissants. Unfortunately this was not the only bad interaction with this store. My first interaction with this establishment was when the nurses in my office ordered the filled croissants. I had never tried them at that point. We ordered a dozen each, submitted online in 4 separate orders. When the woman from our office who lives closest went to pick them up, they had packed them 24 to a box and refused to separate the orders. They made her PAY for the extra boxes and stand there and re-package them herself. If each of us had walked in and ordered a dozen, the boxes would have been free. They have tasty sweets but you can't be this rude and run a business. They have lost many customers today.

One of those was Joco Coffee Company. Located in the middle of the food hall, they had a good selection of coffee choices as well as food options. A small menu compared to some coffee houses, however it was enough to satisfy me that day. The service was great. The young lady working that day was pleasant and was quick. I had stepped away from the counter not to hover as she was making my drink and she brought it out to me from behind the counter which was nice. I had the Mocha. The chocolate flavor used was perfect and didn't seem to be some sort of syrup from a bottle. Not overly sweet and not bitter. The coffee was served up piping hot, so much so I asked if she had a sleeve. They did not but she did put a second cup to help buffer the heat. Overall, I enjoyed my visit to Joco Coffee and would visit again if I were in town.

During the course of our meal, we found out Sami is from New Jersey and so understands exactly what a pizza should taste like. The delicious dinner made me decide to delight myself in a cannoli.
