Love their bakery items! I stopped in on my way to my brother's house looking for a cookie cake for my sister-in-law's birthday. There were a couple cute designs to choose from. We ended up not cutting in to it until the next day and it was still so delicious that we couldn't stop going back for more. The frosting was my favorite! I would absolutely buy that regularly. Their muffins are delicious as well and always a special treat! read more

50% or more of the beef products that I buy, at the Ossipee Hannaford, are rancid in 48 hours or less. It's often on or before the sell by date even, never making it to the "use or freeze before" dates. And my purchases are protected in an insulated grocery bag with ice packs that I bring from home so the problem isn't on my end. Yes they have a "double money back" guarantee, but given the region we are in, sometimes an 18 mile/30 minute round-trip to the grocery store and back, isn't worth it. Buyer beware. read more

The store doesn't even know its own Street address. They need help. Very expensive, one or two items will cover your gas for an hour drive south To another chain. The self check out was there worst addition, usually staffed with 3-4 people which could be on two registers. Otherwise if you must shop there selection is okay when the shelves are stocked which is only two days a week Thanks to out of state shoppers trying to elude their state's taxes on shopping. read more

Ossipee store : two checkouts open at any given time. Hannaford brands are sub quality in every way imaginable. No real meat or fish choices unless summer, holidays. Grab and go prepared are not fresh and $$ . This store is under stocked on weekends and holidays , specials run out often especially in meat / fish. read more

Bring back the organic products! Someone at this supermarket has decided to steadily remove all the organic, non-GMO products from the shelves as some sort of bizarre "anti-woke" culture statement. My conservative friends and I care deeply about the quality of the food we eat and we are not on this train when it comes to the quality of the food we are feeding our families. It's not the same thing at all, so please stop doing this. Hannaford's website boasts about their wide array of organic products but this market wants to make sure you can only buy garbage. read more

Good prices on some items..but DO NOT BUY CHICKEN THIGHS OR BREASTS so stringy and gross I buy chicken for my dog bit won't buy it there..indian mound in ossipee has better meat..as do local farmers. I really don't want I or my dog to eat fake manufactured meat..read the labels..it's genetically manufactured meat.. Full of nasty chemicals read more

I bought a Bouquet of balloons for my Mother in laws 85th birthday. when I went to pick up the cake I had ordered the balloons went straight up into the rafters. I was not going to bother getting another set because it takes quite a bit of time and the store was getting very busy. ( It was a Saturday ) The gentleman(Iha) who filled the balloons for me was also the bagger for my order. He questioned what happened to the balloons? I told him and he instantly insisted on re-doing them for me. I responded that it wasn't that important, but he argued that such a Beautiful Cake needs the balloons. He happily filled another 8 balloons . His customer service was A+. The Cake and the Balloon Bouquet were a huge hit. Wanted to give credit when someone like him does such a great job. Thank-You! read more

We come here a lot when we do our food shopping. It's pretty clean, and the employees are typically very friendly. The only issue I'm having is the cake I ordered. It looked nice, but the taste was meh. The actual cake was okay. The frosting was where my biggest problem was. It tasted like there was a pound of frosting on it, and it was really sweet. Even the children that attended the party had a hard time eating it. read more

Hannaford Supermarkets - a birthday cake for two year old - Grocery Near Me - Center Ossipee, New Hampshire

I am a X-Mass. guy. I find that the Hannaford Market in Ossipee compares very well to Star Market, Shaws, Roche Brothers, and Whole Foods. I feel lucky such a great market with such helpful people is up here. read more

Store has gone from bad to worse to ridiculous! Absurd prices, snippy workers, and lies about being understaffed! Poor management!

Worst grocery store ever went there today and got some groceries I had ice cream in my cart it took twenty five minutes to check out due to only 3 lanes being open its understaffed as a store or the shift manager is incompetent. Meanwhile my ice cream is melting so check out lady says here are all the bags, well suffice to say the ice cream bag was never given to me and I found out when I got home which is 20 minutes away Hannaford ossipee your staff has literally checked out. Time for some lay offs and retirement parties. My advice to other people is use the Hannaford in alton nh better stock better service period. read more

All of you people are forgetting that were in the middle of a pandemic! It is very difficult for many businesses to keep forget or maintain staff. The same holds true for Hannaford. I feel they do a very good job and the store is very clean with the little stuff that they do have. People have grown a custom to be collecting that extra money for unemployment so why should they go back to work... I feel that that was one of the worst mistakes the government has made yet. I could see if your business closed however if you just don't go to work because of Covid well then that's your issue you should not be compensated extra for it. Hanniford has a lot of protection to make sure that you are protected from Covid. I feel that they are doing the very best job they can. They are trying to keep you safe by putting the money in the plastic things when you're passing out they're keeping people at a safe distance away from each other they are really going above and beyond to try to make the store safe. I found them all to be very friendly and honestly exhausted from all the insults that they received all day long. Maybe a little kindness would go along way. I always try to get to the smile and tell them that they're doing a good job and sometimes the girls almost cried because other people are so mean to them. read more

I live here, 2 miles away, year round for 4yrs. I regret every second of it. I assumed that all Hannafords would be as good as the last but it seems management trumps Corp. Never any product or choices. Employees are the rudest I've ever met. Products are expired, veggies are rotten inside, deli employees ignore you. I've been yelled at for asking a simple question 9 different times. Embarrassed by pharmacy manager and cert Twice. I drive 35 miles away now. Went there on a busy, summer Saturday. Even though the store was crowded, it was well stocked and all of the employees were working hard. I only had to wait a few minutes before being served at the deli and at the checkout. I was really impressed. read more

Its amazing on a Wednesday morning only one register open. Missing many basics... supply chain or mismanagement?

I use this Hannafords in the summer as a local seasonal. The store is fine it's just the people in the deli either ignore you, let you stand around to be waited on and make you feel you are bothering them. They also over step you if they know someone and take them first even though you were there minutes before them. They are also slow as molasses . People in the other departments deserve a five star rating. Produce always help if I have a question and will see if they have the product I need out in back. Same with other departments. Please work in this deli issue.. it's a clean well stacked for a smaller Hannafords . read more

Today a lady from the bakery Robin G., was so helpful sot me, ask where something was and she took me to where it should have been, but not there. She proceeded to call the manger and find out where it was, a little while later she finds me and has it in her hand and then takes me to show me where it was. This lady went over and above to make me happy. She was amazing . What a great employee , great customer service! read more

I have told myself for years to go elsewhere. This store has the staple items, but the rest seem to consistently be out of stock. I went in for a prescription refill today, and was told that it was never refilled. Go back one month, and I signed up for auto refills. Pharmacy stated (falsely, as I received a confirmation call a couple of days later letting me know that the prescription would be ready for pick up on 12/31/17) they do not give confirmation calls. If Market Basket could open a store in Ossipee, this horrible store would be out of business, with the locals' blessings. read more

Again this store has the worse customer service spoke to a person name joe asked if he could order regular Michelson in for me I would buy it by the case told me he get back to me he had another person call me and tell me that they could get it from another store and that she ordered two cases from that store and it would be in Friday waited cause I was told it would be in when I showed up it wasn't there I drove 12 miles one way to get there and all she could say sorry no phone call nothing they jack up there prices because of the summer tourist and don't care about the people that live here year round read more

manager needs to be fired. Got falsely accused of going around asking for money from other customers... Had only been there 5 minutes, had headphones on and hadn't opened my mouth to anybody. Very rude, hard to believe they would have done that if I was wearing more expensive clothing... Will not shop here again. read more

I have been shopping at this location for 15 years. The staff is great, but the overall management is horrible. Without fail, the aisles are not stocked, as soon as my family finds a product that we enjoy this store no longer stocks it, only 2 cashiers open for true grocery shopping (2 lanes open on a weekend for 10 items or less), god only knows how much chicken and hamburg I have thrown away 2 days after purchase due to rotting meat, and veggies that won't last more than 3 days. I shopped at this store due to the location. I will not any more. I can't wait until a grocery store comes in that does care about it's customers, not just the summer traffic. If you enjoy bagging your own groceries, this is the place for you! read more

As always Hannaford never fails to disappoint. I normally drive 32 miles to the Rochester Market Basket just to avoid this store. The other day, I needed only a few items so I ventured to the nearby Hannaford. Big mistake. Fresh thyme? Nope, but they did have some mangy looking brussell sprouts imported from Belgium. How about a small head of green cabbage? No, they only had heads that were turning yellow. The small heads had enormous cores which means a larger head was trimmed of the bad leaves. Parsley? Mostly stems & few of those for a crazy $1,29 a bunch. Looking over the other produce, it seemed obvious to me that Hannaford is buying old stock the kind marked down in other markets. In a moment of madness, I bought a fried chicken. More than half of the pieces were completely inedible completely dried out to the point that even the meat under the crust was dark brown. I figure they took a half chicken that was under the lights for hours (days?) & repackaged. This store has recently undergone a massive renovation. It's now like shopping in a dark cave with a nonsensical layout. I could go on. Suffice it to say, I'd rather drive needles into my eyeballs than shop here ever again--better to do without. read more
