I try to go in there and have a nice talk with him and go about it a different way, but it was clear he didn't care about me as a customer at all in the years that I've been going to that place, getting my car fixed he just kept responding by saying I got your car started didnt I? He didn't care what I had to go through or my car broke down just a few weeks after I paid him 2700$ to fix it he didn't see anything wrong with what he did and I hope this doesn't happen to anybody else

I have been to Byron Quick Lube once when I drove my BMW. I thought the waiting area was a common…read moreoil change/car shop typical area. It was clean, there was a tv and many seats for customers. I drove my car up the line went in to check it in with my keys and left. I came back after doing some errands and paid and went home. Very simple, easy process. The only thing I didn't like was the cost of my oil change...keep in my I took in a large BMW which is just a money eater anyway. I ended up paying about $170 for just an oil change. Needless to say I don't drive that vehicle anymore. Other than that, great service, fast and stress free.

Called them beginning of April to ask if they do transmisssion fluid changes on CVT transmissions…read moreand if they could change my brake fluid as part of my car maintenance. I was told yes they could do it, they scheduled me for a little over 2 weeks out. (Today April 28th to drop off 29th to do work) I asked them if they could take my Bridgestone credit card and I explained that the card company was how I go their name as a referral because they have them on the list as a business near me that takes the card. So he tells me that he isn't sure because he has never had anyone try to use one there but that I can bring the card in before the work is done and they can run it for a few dollars to make sure the card works in their system before they do almost $700 in maintenance. So I call them today to ask them what time I can come in to try and run the card, the owner then decided to tell me that he doesn't WANT to take the card so in other words he can, he just chooses not to is how I'm understanding this...(this is AFTER I have waited over 2 weeks to get it done) so I tell them to cancel my appointment for the next day because I had to figure something else out financially. So I call them back about an hour later and asked them to please reschedule me because I had the funds to pay for it. So the lady says the owner is out to lunch and they will call me back in about an hour. Well needless to say nobody ever called me back so I called them back and she says to hold one moment while she goes and asks him if they can put me back on the schedule, to which he gives her some made up story about how he did some further checking and he can't do a drain and refill on a CVT transmission. Come on....when I called the first time they had to check with the owner to make sure they could do it and he said yes of course he could do it. Now all of the sudden after I wait almost 3 weeks now to get the work done he can't even reschedule me for another day he just won't do it. I'm sorry I had to figure out my finances after you refused to accept my card. I am a widow and I don't just have $700 laying around!!! I hope Karma comes back around for you tenfold!!! Have a blessed day!!!!

I've used Bill White's C.A.R. Hospital several times this summer. My car is fun to drive, but at 15 years old, it always needs something. My greatest concern is an unanticipated breakdown, and that's exactly what happened the first time I visited the C.A.R. Hospital. Usually, there's a clear view from the shop area to the waiting area/service desk--where I anxiously crane my neck to see where my car sits in the line of work. Usually, the waiting area is cramped and unclean, a place for stale coffee and man-picked TV. Usually, I find myself on the receiving end of vague terms with hens-and-haws, until I prove my cursory understanding of a fuel combustion engine and the ABS system. Here's what it's like at Bill White's: complementary beverages if you need to wait; free local pick-up and drop-off when requested; always friendly and polite service counter assistance by Rachel, Joy, and Bill; absolutely clear communication about diagnosis of problem and solution to problem, clear communication about the reasonable price of service or repair, and clear communication about exactly when work will be completed; lastly, there's a thank you card or coupon in the mail--real savings, not just some stupid systems-check, on something a car really needs. Did I mention that I'm an uptight freak about car repair?! If Bill White's C.A.R. Hospital can make a vehicle repair neurotic like me happy, I'm certain everyone should choose this business.
