This place reminds me of International Village in Downtown Vancouver. Almost looks like it was designed by the same company. Very similar looking signage and layout. Stores and a supermarket along the basement floor, and food court in the central 2nd floor. Interestingly, the general emptiness of the mall also reminds me of International Village. We used the venue for a little shopping and lunch on the way to a stay to Harrison Hot Springs recently. We took the opportunity for walkabouts before the restaurant opened. I walked the perimeter of the Centre, and captured a few photos of shops that caught my interest, while the ladies headed to some that daughter (who knows Port Coquitlam and this Centre well), thought her Mom would enjoy. And then as a threesome, headed back to a couple I had wished to check out further, and soon after, walked to the restaurant for lunch. Observations: - easily-accessed entrances from Westwood Street and Lougheed Highway. - nice-sized 'no charge' parking lot - with sidewalk access to all facilities around perimeter. - good quality, and nicely-varied selection of restaurants, stores, shops, and services. Glad we had time for a look around. I would definitely choose to return for a closer look at offerings provided at some shops in more detail, and especially so when having more time in-hand.
