**INITIAL REVIEW** In all honesty, I would have not discovered Hani Honey Company (which I will shorthand to Hani Honey for the remainder of the review) on my own, given that I am not a local of St. Lucie County. However, because of my love for alcoholic beverages and my respect for businesses and venues that serve them, I was brought to Hani Honey because they make mead. Though it was mead that brought me here, it was their fantastic menu of foods, both honey-based and not, their business's ambiance, and the people working there that brought me back more times. As a matter of fact, I have been back to Hani Honey numerous times since that initial visit, and yet I haven't reviewed them... until now. Because they've been consistent, Hani Honey gets one of those rare perfect star initial reviews I rarely give out (though it seems I am giving them out more because I am so backed up on reviews). Getting back on track, it should be noted that Hani Honey isn't exactly located in a "highly visible" area though it is in the midst of the bustling downtown area of Stuart. Though an address is given, Hani Honey is located in a small dual-sided strip mall that also has other unique businesses worth visiting, including Fruits & Roots. If it helps out, this used to be the old location for Vinyl Coffee Roasters. You can tell Hani Honey is unique compared to the rest of the businesses thanks to how they display themselves via their storefront. Their entryway is flanked with outdoor tables and chairs and painted bees on the window. The small gardenscape in front of their store has some adorably tacky displays too often seen in gardens created by pre-schoolers. By all means, that is not an insult as the ambiance is welcoming and very fitting of their brand. Inside, the space is kind of tight, but Hani Honey does their best to utilize it. The "bar" in the middle also has the cold case showcasing baked goods and their register. The walls on the northside of the store have numerous honey-based products for sale, including their mead. There are some small tables and chairs on the westside of the store, too. The eastside wall actually opens up to the space next to it for more seating, including bar seating at the window on its northside. There are samples of honey to try, games to play, and puzzles to complete. The walls feature art from locals in the area. Everywhere you look, there is an adorably tacky knick-knack on display on a corner, hanging from the ceiling, along the wall, etc. As for the food, I had numerous pasties, including their version of Pop-Tarts, and they are all delicious. They have gluten-free options, too. As for their sit-down service menu, I enjoyed their soup of the day, which was potato leek soup, a smooth yet creamy soup with just the right amount and size of potatoes to give it substance, and a honey-infused chai iced tea. I wish I remembered the girls' names who I communicated with, but they were very kind and accomodating despite how backed up they were the times I showed up during peak hours. On a sidenote, there are two unisex restrooms and they are primarily clean and stocked. The aforementioned would be enough to give Hani Honey my 5-star rating, but there is one last detail I must stress about this company and this is for all the "scavenger hunters" or "trailblazers" or "pathfinders" who read my reviews. Hani Honey happens to be highly central in scavenger hunts/trails/crawls. They are the only meadery in the Treasure Coast Wine, Ale & Spirits Trail, a county-sponsored trail in which you visit a number of breweries in St. Lucie County. They also have both a letterbox and geocache. Of course the geocache is outside, but the letterbox is inside, specifically their west restroom. I will definitely be back for me whenever I can. Like I said, I am not a local so it may be far and few in between visits, but I still look forward to their food, their friendliness, and there is one girl there who've I got interested in letterboxing. Maybe I will have a stamp carved up for her by then.

Potato soup and mead that I like. Looking forwarding to trying the quiche.

Great food. Looking forward to mead and soup. Soup is unusual. I really like the mead here and all. Quiche selection was very big. Cute quaint shop.

Tried the roasted beat salad and it was delicious! They kindly accommodated my request to switch the dressings. I highly recommend the tahini dressing! It's delicious and they make it in house. I loved the combo of the beet and goat cheese. It was filling, delicious, and nutritious! All their merchandise is super cute. The honey is obviously amazing, and there is a spot to taste them. Delicious!

My favorite café in town hands down. Hani Honey offers that little extra special something to our community that you don't get in most cafes. It's more than just coffee, lunch and pastries (though those are absolutely amazing obviously). It's the feeling you get the moment you walk in: warm, welcoming, and full of love. You can truly feel the care poured into everything here, from the nourishing lunches to the beautifully crafted drinks to the cozy, thoughtful details in the space. Jen & Kaija are incredible leaders in our community and they've done an amazing job turning the space into a safe haven for everyone seeking a cozy home away from home. Hang out and read, do homework or plug into the WiFi and hang out. Eating healthy is easy at Hani, where each dish is crafted mindfully with well-sourced ingredients and prepared to order (so patience is important as it's also a virtue). I love all the freshly prepared soups that change daily; my favorite lunch is the slammin toast with melted cheddar and chicken salad with a house salad on the side. If you haven't been yet, go. Support local, sip something delicious, and experience the magic for yourself. This café has my whole heart

SCW and I have seen Hani Honey quite a few times in the area but we've never stopped by, until now. When you come in the door you are treated to the displays of fabulous baked items on display. They have lots of prepared foods and I was drawn to the various vegan empanadas. They had one with kale and one with curry so we got both as I really enjoy a good vegan empanada. They have many different types of pastries as well which we got the chocolate peanut butter cup and blueberry crumble. SCW also got a strawberry tea, all of which we took to go. The empanadas were really good. I reheated them at home and I really enjoyed the flavors that came through. What I found best about them was the dough wasn't greasy at all, wasn't salty, just really well cooked dough that let the flavors inside really come out. I haven't had such incredible empenadas in a long time. The peanut butter cup was a little odd as the chocolate was very dark which on it's own is great but with the peanut butter wasn't really my thing. The blueberry crumble was delicious! Every bite had the right amount of blueberry and the base was very tasty. The people here are incredibly helpful and kind. The interior space has a lot to offer with lots of products around the store. I know we'll be back.

I stopped in here with the whole gang just before they were closing (unbeknownst) and made sure that it was okay. All the staff (including the owner) were super friendly while we decided what we wanted to order. I thought it was pretty cool that they make a lot of their stuff in house and also support local bakers by selling their goods. We grabbed a boba tea, some coffee & a vegan loaf. Considering this is a honey spot, it's cool that they still have lots of vegan options for those that still eat honey. Overall great place and next time we are in town, we're definitely stopping by again!

Aww, this is the cutest honeycomb! Staff was buzzing around like little bees. Happy bees I might add. We bought several bottles of honey and an apple tart. It is eclectic because they sell everything from soup to nuts. Well, not really. That is an idiom. But you can see by the pictures that they sell gifts, honey, coffee drinks, and food. There is a sitting room off to the side for you to enjoy your treat.

    Sweet Honey selection!

Amazing little store in the downtown Stuart area! They are a specialty store, specializing in... you guessed it... HONEY! My husband and I use a lot of honey, and love their product. It's high quality honey, and no matter the variety you pick, you will be very happy! In addition to honey, this is a drink and pastry shop with specialty food items. They make their own homemade BOBA! They offer many drinks, many of which are made with their honey, and they also make beeswax candles in some fun different shapes. They also sell some fun specialty food items. I really like their cheese selection, and above all LOVE the delicious and responsibly raised bacon from Lake Meadow Farms. Nitrate free, heavenly bacon! Yes, please. They also sometimes have pop-up plant events and participate regularly in a First Friday art walk. If you're anywhere near Hani, you would be missing out if you didn't stop in!

I wanted to try a Chai Latte for the first time (I know, right?) but need to avoid sugar. This should have been the part where she told me it wasn't actual Chai tea but a processed concentrate loaded with sugar. I obvi couldn't finish it once I discovered the sugar content, but on the upside now I know that most coffee shops serving "Chai" anything are actually using a syrup, not the actual tea. Even with the sugar mishap the place is darling and we will definitely return whenever we visit the Stuart/Jensen Beach area. The divorce lawyer next door had a hilarious sign we couldn't resist - I wonder if they're always this funny? We'll check it out next time - although I think I'll stick to a plain Latte with almond milk.

Service was quick and served with a smile. I ordered my typical black tea latte with honey (a drink which most places have a hard time understanding let alone making) . However, here it was made to perfection. As was the breakfast I ordered which consisted of sour dough bread toast and soft boiled egg.Anthony I didn't plan on ordering a pastry, their blueberry muffin was calling my name and it didn't disappoint. If you're looking for a breakfast not a snack, this is probably not the place for you. However, if your primary interest is a coffee or tea and pastry you'll like this place. It's cute, offers indoor and patio dining and is located in the oh so cool Port Salerno area. The only negative for me (and the reason they lost a star) is the lack of breakfast items and that "cold" soft boiled egg. I'm not a fan of "cold" eggs or soft boiled eggs for that matter. However, if that works for you, give Gilbert's a shot. I believe you'll enjoy the food, service and atmosphere
