I know this is a small mistake, but I cannot drive and each time I need to go to an appointment I have to ask someone to drive me, so that was unfortunate that I had to schedule another MRI. In addition to this, the MRI facility communicated to me that the mistake was made, rather than the hearing from this office that they had made the mistake and explaining why I needed another MRI done. I have had other experiences with this staff as well when scheduling tele-heath appointments. The receptionist scheduled my tele-health appt. for 4:50 but when the time came and passed, I called the office to double check. When I got onto the phone with a receptionist they told me that 4:50 is not actually an appointment time, but rather as estimated time based on when the DR is finished with his appointments for the day. That was unfortunately information that should have been told to me when "scheduling". I know these aren't big instances of miscommunication, but they are enough for me to be wary of the care I receive here. Will something be ordered incorrectly again? Is my time being valued as a patient there?

He is my miracle worker. 20…read moreyears ago as a late 30's mom, I had severe pain and was unable to nod or turn my head, difficulty raising my arms, with tingling & weakness, and also severe lower back pain. I had constant pain that interfered with my ability to sleep, socialize, work, carry out every day activities, or be truly "present" with friends & family. I spent years seeking help, but most doctors dismissed it, as often happens to women, as being "all in my head", or hormones, laziness/lack of exercise (though I was trim, athletic & went to the gym daily), or being dramatic & attention-seeking. My long-time orthopedist said there was definitely something wrong, and referred me to Dr Finno for a consultation. Dr. Finno actually listened to me and investigated. He was honest & open about what he could & couldn't do, and what to expect, answered all my questions & concerns, and never made me feel dismissed or stupid. When I decided to move forward with treatment, he explained everything clearly & carefully during each step of the procedures, and made things as comfortable & calm as possible. 48 hours later, I had a drastic reduction in pain, and big gains in range of motion. Dr. Re (shoulder) was excellent and I now have the shoulders of a 25 year old. Dr. Sloan did my knee and was fabulous. And recently, my new 80 lb. puppy hipchecked me on the staircase, and I blew out my achilles tendon and Dr. Baker fixed it. Good as new. I can't say enough good things about the team. Highly recommend.

So here I am with orthotics that don't work for me and I'm out $600 and he says there is no refund at all because they are custom. Which I get, but really? I'm sure they're marked up, he could give me some of that back. I am a senior on a very low fixed income and $600 is a lot to lose to someone for a product that only hurts me, not helps. The only thing Dr Melick did for me was prescribe physical therapy for my feet, which my PCP could have done. I really would give zero stars if I could. A waste of my time and money.
