To give you some context this review is from a couple of Angelinos in Rome for a few months. We had some very bad Chinese food in Trastevere so we were skeptical of this place even after reading the Yelp reviews. This stands up to any Chinese restaurant in LA's Chinatown. The smallish servings means mix and match at least three entrées for two people. Good shrimp dumplings were a nice start. My favorite entree was the Fried Noodles with shrimp and veggies. Friendly wait staff but no time for small talk because the place was buzzing and packed with Italians and foreigners alike seeking refuge from the normal deluge of Rome's pizza and pasta. We'll be back very soon.

This is not your "around the corner" Chinese restaurant, it's the place to be in Rome when you are a Chinese food lover as I am! It is a very large place and you have the feeling that half Rome sits with you. It's huge but somehow you still feel cosy! Waiters have a very good level of English which is fresh air here in Rome! On top of that they behave with you (a tourist) with just the same care as if you were a local, that's very nice too! Food was good and relatively not expensive (10€-15€ per person) for a three-course meal; good deal indeed. It was very crowded so I would recommend that you start around 19:00 or 19:30 maximum. Enjoy!

I must admit I've always been skeptical about Chinese cousine despite loving Asian food. A good friend of mine, who lived in China many years, told me this was one of the best Chinese restaurants in town therefore I decided to give it a try. Well, we both were very deluded at the food. No taste no spiciness. The only thing I really liked was the jasmine tea.

There are a lot of options on the menus. I was there around 7 pm. No need to wait at that moment. However after I finish around 9pm, there are a lot of people waiting. The fried rice is nice the portion is good for a girl but not a guy. The dumplings are ok. Taste a little bit frozen not that fresh. The duck is tasty and also the onion beef is awesome. The staffs are nice and fast. The money is valuable.

Good Chineese food at a reasonable price. After having all the delicious italian food anyone could ever want I decided to change things up and give this place a try. Most of the other reviews on yelp were pretty positive so I figured I wasn't taking much of a risk. The reviews were right. The hot and sour soup was top notch and served very hot. The spicy pork had a great flavor and tasted very fresh. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that the potions are a bit on the small side for what your paying but other than that great experience. Would eat here again.

Rice noodle soup. Big enough to share!

Excellent overall experience. Menu is in Mandarin, Italian, and English. Very reasonable prices. Mostly from 6.50-8.50 euro. My wife and I went at 9:30pm on Thursday and there was no wait. I've been to many Chinatowns in the US and this place was up there with them and exceeded my expectations. It's not going to win awards of the best you've ever had if you've been to a lot of legit Chinatowns but it's very good. We were on a trip here so didn't expect to eat Chinese food while in Rome but are glad we choose to go in! Well seasoned dishes. Great dumplings! Friendly service!

This restaurant was surprisingly good. I was at first astonished by all the mainland Chinese propaganda with pictures of Chairman Mao decorating the wall. The portions are small compared to the US mainland Chinese food restaurant. The food is served with these beautiful garnishes made of carrots in the shape of animals and flowers. I ate one and was told that I wasn't suppose to eat it after the fact. I am a little confused as what they do with them after the meal though. Do they recycle them for the next table? I I had the beef with vegetables, chicken sesame and shrimp with vegetables.

The soup with shrimps, chicken and bambu was delicious and quite cheap (3,5€) !!! The beef with black mushrooms was fantastic and also relatively cheap (6,5€) !!! Great place, nice people

Chow mein, fried rice, steamed dumplings (all vegetable)

This place rocks! Been in Italy for a little over a week and started to get a little tired of the pizza, pasta and paninis I have been eating! Saw this place on yelp tonight and decided that Chinese food sounded amazing! There was an incredibly long menu, so many options! Decided on steamed vegetable dumplings, vegetable fried rice and vegetable chow main! This came out to only $13.50! So inexpensive! We ordered it as takeout and only had to wait 15 minutes or so. Got home and ate it and we were very pleasantly surprised! Great flavor, and tasted very fresh! Happy to have great vegetarian options. It easily fed two people and we have left overs! If I am back in Rome, I will come again!!

Friendly staff and fast service. Food is home style cooking, doesn't look sophisticated, yet full of flavor.

This place was nearby the hotel we were staying at and the pictures looked so good. Well, it was very tasty, one of my favorite Chinese food, they did such a good job with all the items we ordered. Hot and sour soup - on point, we got a small one to share between the two of us, lots of ingredients and super delicious. We ordered a pork belly stew pot, fried rice, fried pork intestines with green onions, grilled beef skewers, and stir fry water grass. Everything was what you'd imagined you'd get in Asia... When we got here late evening, it was nice to see many Asian customers dining in. Definitely a really nice spot for Chinese food if you want to switch it up after many days of pastas!

Second night to eat dinner here. But I have to tell you a funny story…read more When we entered, we asked for a table for two. The lady tried to put us at a table for two right by the front entrance. I asked her, "I'd like a table in the back please?" She turned and looked at me with the Evil Eye. Like the mother-in-law who can't stand you but puts up with you. She acquiesced and put us at a table in the back. Ordered spring rolls (2 per order) and pork shu mai (4 pieces) as appetizers. Spring rolls were vegetarian, nice and crispy with a decent amount of cabbage filling. Shu mai were good considering they tasted like the frozen variety. You need some soy sauce and chili oil for dipping. I couldn't find a shrimp dish I liked so I just went for shrimp fried rice instead of white rice. Caution, there were three whole shrimp cut in half in the dish so don't expect much shrimp in your fried rice. For dinner, I stayed with the Hot and Sour Pork and Sauteed Bean Sprouts for a veggie side dish. We tried their Rice Noodles with Beef, similar to Beef Chow Fun, but with thinner rice noodles. Again, three pieces of flank steak beef in the entire dish. Not too bad. It was tasty and not too greasy. We finished with a Lemon Sorbet. A premade frozen lemon filled with lemon sorbet capped by the lemon top. We could see the server take it from a plastic bag out of the freezer. A unique looking dessert...i liked it frozen. It was refreshing. So I return to the seating. I don't like to sit near the front door. I'm a bit superstitious and like to sit somewhere where I can watch the front door and see who walks in. This time, I got a healthy dose of side eye with my Chinese food!

Coming from the San Francisco Bay Area in California, I'd have to give this restaurant relatively high marks on a number of fronts. First off, they speak Cantonese, Mandarin, English and Italian from the best that I could hear." The fact that they spoke Cantonese put me more at ease since I knew they would understand some of the dishes that I was trying to order. I do not speak Chinese but someone in our party did. Secondly, the Beef Chow Fun was pretty good and had "Ho Wok Hay" (which translates to "good taste of the wok"). Wok Hay is a slightly burnt flavor from the wok that gives a dish a high degree of flavor. Not too many restaurants have this and this is a mark of a legit Chinese restaurant. I was very pleasantly surprised to find this in Rome. We also ordered the Chicken in Picante sauce which was very tasty, and roast duck and spareribs in black bean sauce both of which were ok. We also had the house soup at the waitress' suggestion (probably because she knew we appreciated authentic Cantonese cuisine) and Chinese greens. The portions were fair and the prices not too cheap or expensive. I was just glad to get good quality Chinese (Cantonese food in Rome). The restaurant is simple and looked reasonably clean, the staff was friendly but a little hurried as they had a fair amount of takeaway orders.
