I had an appt this morning for my sons passport, my appt was at 10 right when they open, I got there about 10 minutes before and waited for them to open (no big deal) after they opened they pulled us back and took his pictures, then waited a couple of minutes for someone to come help us (again, no big deal) when someone finally arrived, said person was on the phone with no intention of hanging up. So she's asking me questions while she's talking on the phone at the same time. I had all of the copies and original documents ready, except for the application. I made the appt online and didn't know I had to have the application filled out prior to his appt. When I told her I didn't have this form filled out she told me that she could cancel my appt because I wasn't ready and that if the next appt showed up I would be canceled because my form was not ready. (Still on the phone) I said "well you have been on the phone and I've been waiting for you" she immediately got and attitude and I mean completely flipped and started attacking me, she raised her voice at me all because I said she was on the phone while she could had been helping me. I have never felt so belittled in my life. But yet here comes a couple without an appt and she's more that happy to help them. Just after she had literally attacked me because my "form wasn't ready and she had appts every 15 min." I did not like the way she treated me and then putting the blame on me saying I was rude to her and that's why she talked to me the way I did.... (i did not, anyone in my shoes would have reacted the same way I did) I don't like the fact that she made me feel like i was being discriminated. When she saw that I was in tears because of the way she was treating me she lowered her tone and helped me finish the appt. I wasn't getting anything for free, I had money in hand. I have never felt this way in my life, all because I didn't know I had to fill the form out before the appt. Never again will I step foot in this office and i have filed a complaint with USPS as well. read more
