The Deets: When I visit my parents, we go to do many of our errands over in Lewisville (or if a larger trip is in order, Winston-Salem of course). Lately we've needed to stop by the Post Office in Lewisville and it's a pretty nice one. It is definitely an upgrade from the one that was in Lewisville when I was younger. There is plenty of parking at this one and it is not ever near full on my visits, plus there is a convenient drive-up mail drop off in the parking lot as well. Inside the nice brick building, there is a modern, clean, well kept service area with two staff service desks, drop off area, and plenty of PO boxes in the lobby. On my last visit, I went inside and both desks were staffed which made the three person line move very quickly while there. In a time when many reflect disappointment when making a USPS visit, I am here to say this one does the job from what I've seen.

Kudos to the congenial (middle-aged, female) cashier who took care of me. I will say, though, that while awaiting my turn in line (which moved fast enough), there was an older, tall brother at the passport counter who spoke quite forcefully to patrons. As I listened to his unkind deliverance and rude dialogue, I thanked God to myself that I didn't need a passport and didn't have to deal with him at all on my first visit to this post office... otherwise this review would've went entirely different, and so would've been the rest of HIS day for trying it upon the wrong one.
