Grabbed lunch and a smoothie from crispy and co and hanebe! Our crispy total was about $19 and my smoothie was about $8. Chicken tenders are huge!!!! We always get the garlic soy on the side. What a great little healthy fresh spot! Delicious Taro Milk tea with boba and the fruit bowls are divine! I've only had the dragon fruit one, but the fruit variety, freshness of the fruit, the honey drizzle, and the crunch of the cashews and coconut flakes is such a yummy combo. Nice owner who was super accommodating to us when they ran out of boba. Clean, bright, beautiful plants, and I love the colorful spoons and utensils! Take me back to the island.... Walking into this little shop you walk straight up to the counter to order. The reggae is jamming and the tropics are on display. Fruity, crunchy, sweet, chilled, deliciousness. This bowl has all the right stuff. It's perfect for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert- solo, date night, on a hot day. You really can't go wrong with this powerhouse bowl. The menu has lots of other great choices to pick from but I went straight for this favorite of mine. If the açaí is good, life is good. I will be back to try other items on their menu for sure. read more

After traveling on the road for the past week and eating an almost all fast food diet (blegh), I was craving something fresh when we made a stop in Topeka. Açaí bowls came to mind and I was happy to see one really close to my in-laws' house. I took my kids the next day and I got the Açaí bowl and Dragon bowl- each were pretty good. The açaí and dragonfruit bases had really nice, balanced flavors: definitely not lacking or overpowering. The ricotta was a little different, but complemented the dragonfruit base nicely. You DO have the option of adding nut butters and additional toppings. I couldn't find it on the menu initially but it's printed in smaller text on the bottom right. The fruit combo of kiwi, strawberry, banana and blueberries would be just perfect; I don't think the grapes really belong. Anyway, before we hit the road in a couple more days, I will be making at least one more visit to this place! read more

A perfect alternative to the many coffee shops in town with a big selection of juice drinks, smoothies, and even sorbet and ice cream crushies and fruit cocktails. They've done a great job of creating an inviting space with a blend of minimalism and greenery throughout. Hanebe is relatively new and is providing an alternative drink spot for Topeka - and if the foot traffic is anything to go by, Topekans are loving it. read more

Thank you for coming to Topeka Ks. I've never had something with Açaí and fresh fruit, cheese all mixed in a bowl. My favorite is the Açaí Bowl for sure. The staff were very friendly too. Saying hi as you walk in, preparing your order fresh and quickly and if you go there a couple times they remember your name. They have protein drinks, ice cream and different flavor of fruits and veggies. A must try! During my weeklong trip to Topeka, I ended up visiting Hanebe about 4 or 5 times. The owner and staff were extremely accommodating of my boyfriend and I - he's vegan and we were having some issues looking for good breakfast options for him in Topeka. The owner was so helpful in giving him options and changes that he could make to items on the menu and we really appreciated it. We tried the acai bowl, dragonfruit bowl, berry jacked smoothie, and the power charged smoothie. I definitely enjoyed the acai bowl the most - it had a lot of fresh fruit and that alongside the honey was to die for. The smoothies were super tasty and filling too! Reasonable pricing as well. The best spot in Topeka by FAR!! Hanebe has Miami worthy açaí bowls. The workers are so friendly (especially the owner...he is so personable!) The cafe is SO clean, full of natural light and all of the food tastes fresh. (I recommend the açaí bowl and switch out ricotta for peanut butter!) Very quick service! They also have another amazing chicken restaurant connected to the same building. (Same owner!) If some of your family is craving smoothies/açaí bowls and some are craving yummy chicken and fries, you can sit together while you have two different cuisines! read more

I absolutely loved this place when they first opened! It was such a nice vibe! (Delightful smells, green plants, health conscious customers) and their açaí bowls are top notch! ... and don't get me wrong the food is still great! But they just added on a fried chicken and fried food place in the SAME space.... Now it smells like fried food when you go in and it's a whole different vibe and customer base.
