Just Stop used to be the place to go. They used to have fresh carrots for real carrot juice, along with fresh fruits and vegetables. Unfortunately, this is NOT the case. You can not call this place a Juice place without fresh fruit and fresh vegetables. Now everything is made with bottled juices and frozen fruit. They don't even have fresh carrots anymore. When I asked if the carrot juice was 100% fresh carrot juice, the employee told me no -- it's mixed with water, which explains why it tastes so bad. It feels like they're buying bottled carrot juice from the grocery store, diluting it, and serving it to customers. Well the cashier told me this is what they do. They also don't use fresh apples -- just bottled apple juice. If you think you're coming to a healthy juice place, you're really not. There are very few actual vegetables available (basically just spinach and kale), and most drinks feel more sugary than healthy. I've been to many juice bars that use real, fresh fruits and vegetables, and this isn't one of them anymore. On top of that, the customer service was not good. Most experiences are fair. But, today they seemed pretty rude and unprofessional. I came in after a group of people, waited my turn, got served after everyone who arrived after me. They had to ask me again, what I ordered and couldn't even get it right after serving me after everyone who came in before and after me, until there was nobody else left to serve. I told them that my dad likes his, so that he can have the yogurt for his stomach, but not actually taste it. The guy working with the ladies tried to bring it to their attention. And they were openly rude to him about it. He was just trying to make sure the customer was happy with the purchase. We pulled out of the parking lot and had to turn back around because it didn't taste right and plugged up my straw. I told her, that it somehow plugged up my straw and wasn't even thick. So, I came back in, asked for it to be remade. She just reblended it, put it on the counter and stared at me. She told me that she just reblended it. That is not at all, what I asked for. Both mine and my dad's smoothies were gross. So, I paid for 2 large smoothies that weren't worth drinking. Next time I see them working, I'm just turning around and leaving. I want my money back. And they need to be restrained in customer service and to have their wages cut. read more

We chose this spot as they advertised Açai bowls however; that is not altogether accurate. They do not. The employees are quite pleasant and full of smiles. There is a large selection of smoothies. The prices are very reasonable and they will customise as much as you like, with lots of add ins. There are also warm pretzels with about 5 different selections: jalapeño and cheese, butter and salt, Cinammon to name a few. We ordered two pretzels: butter and sea salt and one with cinammon. Both were warm and soft, very tasty. The smoothies were flavourful, and I opted for the Island Breeze with lots of fresh fruit flavors and pineapple sherbet. This place is THE best place for smoothies hands down. There is something for everyone on the menu. You can add in different options, but we haven't ever tried them. My coworkers and I always get smoothies & pretzels from here on Sundays. We've always loved what they offered! The service/quality has dwindled down since we began going there. Never have any issues with the smoothies but two of my pretzels have been raw in the middle and they have forgotten dipping sauces twice now. I would've given at least 4 stars if it wasn't for the raw dough. I pay $8 for a smoothie/pretzel combo and can only eat half of the pretzel. I would only recommend the smoothies from here as they are amazing and healthy. read more

Coming from two guys who don't often go to smoothie joints, there isn't much to say about Juice stop - and that isn't necessarily a bad thing. As far as we're concerned, a lengthy review could only be filled with negative aspects for a place like this. A large selection, decent prices (maybe slightly high), a clean environment and polite service are among the qualities one would desire in any eating and drinking establishment, and they are all to be found at Juice Stop. I've taken a picture of the menu to give you an idea of the variety of smoothies they offer. Bryan and I ordered the Volley, the Hat Trick, and two Wheatgrass shots. The Volley's main ingredient was boysenberry, and the Hat Trick had a wonderful blend of tropical fruits included. Both had a delicious taste and cost 4.59 apiece. It should be noted that they were blended finely, which is essential when you're drinking out of a straw. It may seem like we're nitpicking, but it just isn't favorable to us to have a chunk of fruit get stuck in the straw and having to unclog it constantly in order to enjoy your drink. The Wheatgrass shots, 1oz each, are described as having the nutrient value of two pounds of vegetables (Wow!). If you want to try this out, make sure you go on Wednesdays, as it will be discounted at 50 percent, making the price $1 a piece. One final thing to note - the lady preparing our shots apologized for the wait when she finished preparing them, even though it didn't take long at all. It's not a requirement of ours for the staff to have manners, but it was definitely a nice change of pace compared to the rudeness we encounter all too often. Overall, we give Juice stop four stars, and while we won't make a habit of stopping by on a regular basis, we won't turn our noses up at it either. read more

For not being a chain, consistency is one of this joint's strong points! I've stopped in here a few times over the years to grab a smoothie and as far as the drinks go, I've never been let down. They offer your standard smoothie fair, nothing you wouldn't find at Jamba or any other place. The staff is friendly, however, I found service to be a little inconsistent. Sometimes my order is taken right away, other times, it seems like all the orders are lumped together and then made based on the quickness. That's not that big of deal, just sometimes I'm in a hurry. The store is always very clean. Floors, counters, everything. This is nice when you've got a few minutes to kill while they make your order. They also have an assortment of granola bars, healthy snacks, and I believe at one time they carried jerky, but I could be mistaken. Although it can be a little pricey for some items, it's not ridiculous in light of what you might pay for premium mixes in other places. NOTE: Because this place is in fairlawn plaza, it's just a little enough off the beaten path to never be too busy. I've never had to crown surf my way to the front and that's good in my book. read more

Visited here today after my son's soccer game. Did not enjoy it as much as the one's in Lawrence. Not as friendly. Bathroom was broken. Sink didnt work to wash my hands(just the handle). $10 fix at home depot. How do the employees wash their hands after going to the bathroom? I always get turned off when pressed to tip. Don't get me wrong I tip well but hate having gratuity included or asked for. Their computer system makes me designate my tip with of course telling me exactly what the amount is for each %ile. Crude. I specifically ordered a large drink and asked for it to be split in 2 separate cups--no problem they said. Up charge me for the cup if its a problem. My boys share same one all the time in Lawrence. Here they forgot. When I asked to separate it they rolled their eyes. Then brought me back a large divided into 2 tiny cups. Normally fills at least a small 3/4 the way thru. This indicates to me I payed for a large and got a medium divided in 2 cups. NOT OK. Maybe I was hot. Maybe my kids were bugging me. Either way this was not the best. 3 stars were for the quality of the drink. I recommend cleaning it up some owners. And for God sake get another knob for the sink in the bathroom! Gross. read more

I'm a huge fan of the Singletrack with Yogurt instead of Sherbert and added Honey. That drink is amazing. That said, pretty much everything on the menu is delicious and fresh, albeit a little pricey (Starbucks is roughly equivalent on price, though, and you get way more drink here; plus it's healthy!). And, this place KILLS Jamba Juice with the wrath of 1000 Atilla's. It's not even a close call. If you're looking for a tasty fruit smoothie, this is the place to go in Topeka. read more

This place has the capability to make some bomb a** smoothies. However, I find that they're a little inconsistent with the ingredients. I order the same thing every time- I have for years, but sometimes it tastes distinguishably different. Really the biggest issue at this location is the teenage employees that literally don't say anything to you. They don't ask " what can we get for you" or anything along those lines. They stand behind the register and look at you until you say something. I always thought it's kinda rude to just start blurting out an order without being asked but these kids just don't say anything. If you want to play a fun game, just see how long you can stand there one on one with them at the register silently before they finally just ask what you want. It's a little amusing. They also don't say thank you. Sometimes I like to be overly friendly to them just to see if I can get any sort of friendliness back- nope, they're not really having that. In all seriousness, probably the last 4 times I've went in I've thought to myself that it will be my last time due to the poor customer service. But after going in today and asking for my usual apple, cucumber and spinach drink, I was informed that even though the menu indicates that I could have any three ingredients, I HAD to have carrot. The juices taste good...but they are made from a mix. When I asked to see the box the mix came in to make sure it is gluten free (the woman at the counter did not know), the first ingredient was high fructose corn syrup! Not so healthy after all. read more
