He replastered 2 ceiling holes, and 2 holes by my banister left by the guy who repaired it, and he repaired a huge crack in the ceiling above the stairs that I didn't even ask him to do because I thought it was hopeless. Not for JT! He also expanded a hole in my cabinet so that my new microwave cord could fit, repaired my oven door handle, installed 2 fire alarms and an exhaust fan. When the cord that came with the fan didn't reach the plug, he spliced a 3 prong extension cord and used that instead. Brilliant! He cleaned up everything. I highly recommend JT Handyman Service with no reservations and will definitely hire him again.

I also needed some help getting a new wind stop/chain installed on a swinging screen door in the basement. They were the only service I reached out to who asked for specific details about the jobs before providing a quote, which is a great way to do business. They also provided a real time of expected arrival instead of something like a four-hour window taking up your entire day. They arrived a little before the time quoted with two people - one the main handyman and one being trained. They did a prompt and excellent job and the cost was very fair. I almost don't want to tell everyone how good they are because then they'll become too busy, ha! They truly deserve your business.

After calling a few places, they all felt that a single window wasn't worth their time so I used Yelp's feature to send a standard request template to multiple companies at once, and Steve with HHI responded immediately. Soon after the call , they said a worker, Andrew, would be at my house in an hour. After viewing the leak, Andrew went to work and he stated that there would be some cutting to be done on the garage ceiling/ dry wall. There was water on the joists and floor board above. After getting rid of insulation, he decided to try another idea. There was a leak from the dishwasher! Some time later , Neil, came to help with the project. This tandem was experienced with heaps of knowledge. All necessary items were from their trucks and their timely work ethic was fabulous. Later, they took out the dishwasher and placed ITV in their truck. The clean up was done perfectly. I will check Wexford Handyman again since they have more different jobs listed.I highly recommend them for any future needs or problems.

I had a wonderful experience with Andrew who had extreme attention to detail. I had a lot of small detailed work on floor and trim that needed finished. Previous contractor was sloppy. I couldn't be more happy with the job and how easy he was to work with. Andrew allowed me to walk him through the house as he completed each task, he worked very well with me and displayed nothing but respect and eagerness for my satisfaction. Christopher was doing the electrical work and also displayed attention to detail reviewing carefully each project to make sure it was completed efficiently. I actually kept both guys 3 hours longer because the original company who was to hang outdoor lighting never showed. These guys stayed and Christopher completed all of my outdoor lighting and other indoor lighting. If you want efficient work done in a timely manner this is your handyman service.

Vohidjon was my initial contact. We exchanged information, photos and scheduled the work via phone…read more His English is good. At the last minute, he informed me that his brother was coming. However, he did not speak any English. How disappointing! I probably should have stopped there, but I didn't and I regretted it. It was too hard to communicate even the most simple words. We had to use a translator app which takes away from the time I'm paying for. I believe if you're going to charge $50 an hour, and the state minimum is $7.50, you should speak English. If you don't, you need someone with you that does. I had a series of tasks and every conversation required the app. The performance was excellent for some tasks and others were a bit disappointing. I was trying to patch some holes in the wall in the paint did not match exactly. He painted all the holes instead of just doing a small part and getting my approval before moving forward. Maybe we lost something in translation there. Now I have uneven colors and I'll have to cover with a painting. I'm giving it 3 stars because I feel that announcing that the worker does not speak English should be business practice for transparency. A paying customer deserves that. I paid them in full and made my comments known. If you only have one task, perhaps a translation app is okay. In my case, we had several and the constant need to record and play made it for a long afternoon.
