Then I came across Jazzy's handyman Service. I called and Deshawn came and looked at the work in the bathroom and kitchen and gave me an estimate. I agreed to the estimate, and he prepared a contract and we signed it. I was surprised when I noticed that he never included what portion of the estimate I should pay in advance. When I asked him, he told me that I would pay him at the end of the project. That was a sign of his confidence in the quality of his work, which impressed me!! We set the date when he would start the project. I was following the day-to-day progress of the project. Deshawn is highly disciplined, enjoys his work, gets lost in his work and loses tracking time. These are clean, organized and communicative professionals. My project was small but complicated. We have an odd counter top extension that sort of hung out at a weird angle, we did not use and took up an entire room of the house (it is a small house). It was becoming a place for accumulating junk. This project required that they cut off a section of granite countertop and detach the extension from the floor. Then they trimmed the granite to a new length it so that they could reposition it with a CLEAN SEAM. It looks great and now I have more usable counter top space for cooking, the kids have a counter to sit at for breakfast and we have an extra room in the house.
