Although he ghosted me after he was paid in full when I told him there were some issues with the repairs he made for us. We originally were going to have him do more, but ended the project with him earlier than planned. We paid him in full. Then after we paid him, my husband was able to get in and started really looking at his work, he discovered problems and since he wouldn't come back, my husband had to do the repairs to his work. Sammy made twice the hourly rate my husband makes at his job, but we agreed to Sammy's rate because we thought the work would be done well by an experienced contractor/handyman. Part of what he did for us was replacing rotten sub-floors and replacing rotten wall framing. After his first day, we were concerned he was overlooking areas, so we started marking areas that were bad to try to make sure they weren't overlooked. But afterwards we found out, by my husband ripping up some of the flooring Sammy was paid to put down, that Sammy had not replaced the rotten floors, he had just put new wood on top of the rotten floors. There were also gaps left between the subfloors and the walls to the point you could see the ground. When he hung wall boards, he framed over the edges of the outlet boxes so now my husband has to pull down the boards he hung to get the boxes out for them to rest in the new boards and drywall properly. He also yanked an electric wire out of the ceiling ripping the ceiling material so my husband had to go back and notch a hole for the wire to lay into the framing. Maybe he does better finish work, but we were dissatisfied with the work we paid $4,000 just for one guy for four 8 hour days. And then to be ghosted when I ask if he'll come back and fix the unsatisfactory work was disappointing. He just texted me screenshots of me saying, "Lets end the project now." That doesn't mean the work he already did and was paid for is not expected to be warranted.

This man came in saying he was qualified to do sheetrock repair where a tree had fell on the roof…read moreand we had lots of damage there was also the roof to be repaired which he brought somebody else in on they never finished the job and took advantage of the 70-year-old man with the beginning of Alzheimer's to get all the money out of him before the job was finished needless to say they never finished the job they kept saying they were going to so we let them do some work on the bathroom which was very small and needed to totally remodeled he left us with a brand new tub that won't hold water sheet rock dust all over everything, screws that have not been mudded or sanded seams of the sheetrock are so offset that there's no way to fix it rather than tearing everything out and starting over he just does not know what he's doing I can float out sheetrock I can hang sheetrock mud sheetrock and hand and float it out and he kept telling me because I knew construction finished. I left the bad review he notified my husband today that the remaining balance of $900 is due and it's not paid within 6 months he will see the lean against the property yet he hasn't even finished the job. I would not hire this man again and I recommend that no one else has him because he is inexperienced he has two 21 and 23 year old boys that he leaves on the job by their self and they don't know what they're doing any better than he does and he does. Oh and I forgot to mention the toilet moved from side to side it wasn't fastened down. Everyday he would tell us he would be through the next day and I would tell him there's no way you have too much to do and I would show him the repairs that he did not do right and tell him to do the rest of them right or it was not going to fly with me he ignored me so when he said the job was finished and I said no they're screws up there that haven't even been mudded you still haven't caulked the windows I pointed out to you and you said you would fix . Before he went to Lowe's I showed him that I had the bathroom faucet and a touch toe stopper for the brand new tub he said okay when he came back he had a whole faucet pack he didn't put in the strainer he didn't put in the stopper although we asked him repeatedly to he doesn't listen to his clients his customers he doesn't really care what they say and he gives you a Pity poor story about being from Haitian they're starving over there and he has nothing be careful he'll bring other people in and make money off of their money
