As you can see, the installation was not leveled and installed with large gaps allowing moisture and water to penetrate walls and potential for future mold. The cuts around shower valves were completed with poor precision. Subject used drywall screws instead of coated or galvanized screws design for moisture resistant environments. Subject installed backer board resting on shower floor allowing boards to absorb water and create mold. Subject perforated plastic shower pan with tapcon and drywall screws installed within inches from shower floor.
