I bought a Tempur-Pedic $3500 mattress. Not only did they deliver the wrong mattress, but when it was delivered, the delivery guy ruined my carpet when he entered my room with a dirty dolly. I have made multiple attempts to report the issue and have been unsuccessful. At this point, I want no business with these people. I have tried to return everything I bought, and now they are telling me that they have a no-return policy, when the associate at the store told us we had to do any returns within 30 days. I have called the 800 number, Ashley's chat, and have even called the store where I bought the furniture, and let me tell you, they lack customer service. Andrea, the office supervisor, kept talking over me, interrupting me, and even told me that I still have to make payments on something I no longer want. This has turned out to be such a nightmare. I purchased a bedroom set from Ashley, but when it was delivered the bed rails were missing. The sales associate did not include the bed rails required to assemble the bed panel to my purchase. She tried to correct her error and ordered the bed rails with a delivery date two days after the original delivery, but when the bed rails arrived the wrong rails were ordered. I contacted the delivery department to resolve the error for a same day resolution, but have not heard back. I have been without a bed for almost a week and regret my purchase with Ashley. I went to the store to return an items buy online and the Manager from the store denied to help me with the process and because I ask for help because the online phone provided wasn't working she told me to get out of her store because she couldn't help me. And I insisted to call the main office to give me the right instruction and she agresivelly told me get out of my store of I will call the police...and she did it...what a bad customer service this lady need to be laid off, don't understand how a store can keep employees with cero respect from customers. Be extremely careful with this company. They act like they care but all they want is to make a sale. I made a purchase in March 2025 had it delivered. Since the delivery i had to call and have them re Stuff the soafs 3 different time. The material is horrible it looks like I had them for over 5 year. Mind you I am the only one that sits on them. I request a re select and they refused. You call the store they never pick up. You go in and speak to the store manager and he is no help. He told me he will call me within 24 hours, a week went by and no call. Today I confronted him he was surprised to see me and tells me no one called you they never responded to me. I told he you should have had the courtesy and call me and not waited for me to come me. Its sad, I spent over 3500, they also had me buy the insurance and they still refused to help. He had sold us a regular size queen size boxspring. The bed is way too tall. You can't get anybody at the store to answer the phone you automatically connected to Customer Care , bed is way too tall can't even lay on it . Was told I would get a call in 72 hours. Never got a call to Customer Care. another agent made another claim said they get back to us for 72 hear anything third time called Customer Care. Today 11.30.2024 I went to Ashley to purchase a king size bed. I was introduced to a salesman and he seemed very nice at first. I told him my budget was 1500.00 for a mattress. He said ok. He immediately took me to a 4k Sterns and Foster bed. I really like the bed and was about to purchase. I got approved for 6k through Acima but when the final contract came up had I past the 90 day pay off I would end up paying 10k for a 4k mattress. I canceled the sale. I think that Ashley should train there employees differently when a customer comes in and says I have a budget and listen to what the customer says instead of trying to convince a customer to get into something they don't want to purchase. First visit was just a couple weeks ago. That first time was great but this time I walked out. Not only did Renee take a phone call on her cell about a personal issue, but about 30 minutes later I walked up behind her as she was telling another sales rep that I was being irritating. Had a pretty decent experience with Gino and Abdul. Abdul did most of the work but Gino "trained him" lol. Overall they were polite, patient and answered all my questions. Wish they could have given a better deal but I also understand times are hard and salesmen don't sell with the zeal they use too. Horrible customer service, the delivery never matches up to the scheduled date and they will charge your credit card months after doing business with them with ridiculous excuses. I placed an order September 12, 2023 and they have charged me three different times now for same order and now and I have to cancel the credit card to make sure they don't charge me again. The associate I spoke to today from Ashley had no solutions to the billing problem and now I have to dispute with my credit card company. I've only dealt with Ashley once and will NEVER shop there again and would highly suggest that you heed this advice. Your finances are not safe once they have your credit card information. Ordered a dining room set online. It came broken, so I called within a couple hours of delivery and they issued me a case number. They said someone would call within 24-48 hours to arrange a pickup, and that no refund would be issued until they picked it up. That sounded reasonable. On the 3rd day, I called to find out when they would be picking it up. They were clueless and said someone would call me within 24 hours. Day 5, called and got a supervisor who advised it would be another 24-48 hours because it was just put in their system the day before. I asked why people kept giving me 24-48 hours every time I call, but no one can schedule a pickup. She was also clueless. Customer service is horrible! I will never buy anything from this company ever again. Tomorrow is a week, and it will probably be another 2 weeks before they pick it up. I got the order quicker than that. read more

Spent $2500 on a patio sofa and two chairs. I did not want to pay $229 for delivery so they told me they had a curbside delivery where they would just drop it off and you carry it to where it is going. So we get it into the patio open the first box and see that it has to be put together. NOBODY said a word about this having to be put together. Had I been told, I would have paid as I hate putting stuff together. If I would have wanted to put it together I would have went to IKEA for crying out loud. $750 for each chair and I have to put it together. $1000 for a patio sofa and I have to put it together. Bought a Mattress from this location at the beginning of March 2021. It was a mattress that they only had online. The mattress was delivered on 3/18. This mattress was for my camper. So never got to sleep on it till 4/4 when we went camping. This mattress is like sleeping on a concrete floor. So I called Customer service to start a return on the mattress and get another. But was told they don't do that. So I said can I speak to a manager. She transferred me to Christi. Who right off the bat had an attitude. Long story short she wasn't willing to help me. I asked to talk to the regional director and she stated to me that for what? He'll tell me the same thing. But she'll have him call me. Well it's been 2 days and yet no call back. We bought a bedroom set from the sales person Ashley, upon delivery all pieces were damaged. we called the store for help, Ashley transfer us to another person, who rudely said we were stuck with it and we would need to call cooperate. If zero stars were an option that's what it would have received. I swear that people were paid to post the abundance of positive reviews that I've seen on other sites. Please do yourself a favor and don't shop at the Davenport location. This is the worst customer service that I've ever received and I'm not hopeful reading these reviews that my issues are going to be resolved. I moved from another state and went there to furnish my entire home and spent over $14,000. Firstly, I was over charged for a clearance item by several thousand dollars. Then the Davenport store recommended a delivery person (Ashley doesn't deliver clearance items), he jerked me around for 2 days-the store's response to that was that they gave him too much work. When I finally received my delivery the salesperson ordered the wrong chairs (I must have gone over the order 10 times). Then they forgot one of the mattresses and the delivery driver told me that I never ordered it and then said that the warehouse is a madhouse and it got missed. I called and called to get it delivered the same day since it was their mistake. No go. I went to the store and spoke with the manager, who lied right to my face about the problem with the chairs being do to the warehouse picking the wrong item and again can't help you with your mattress today. Then he had the nerve to say to me "what can I do for you"? When I asked for a chair at 1/2 price, the salesperson practically laughed in my face. I left telling them that if my mattress wasn't delivered the next day I was cancelling my entire order. Of course, no mattress the next day. I contacted the store once again and received the following responses. " I can't make the warehouse manager do anything", no one knows the regional manager's contact number, there is no refund policy , I can't find the manager but she said she was working on it and we can't cancel the order, you'll have to call customer service". I called customer service which is anywhere from a 30min to 1 hour wait. The woman was nice enough, but had to put in a request for my cancellation/refund and said that a manager would call me within a 1/2 hour, which of course didn't happen. I'm also going to guess like with others, that my $200 MasterCard for my $4000 mattress is never going to come. PLEASE DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! Take a look at the BBB website as well.
