Walked to get coffee and went to the CV market after the masaage. Service - Mei, the owner, was so pleasant to talk to and she explained that they moved here not long ago from a previous location. Ana, my therapist, was also nice and skilled. She was consistent on "hard" pressure that I wanted. She may speak limited English (or maybe just polite not to converse a relaxing client?) but she understood me when I told her my problem areas. All in all, it was a pleasant experience. Additionally, the price is the average in the Bay Area. Will recommend this place to my family.

However, there were a couple of times during the session where they would walk out- which made my husband and I wondering where they went- we didn't know what to expect. The first time they left- they brought hot stones- the second time- they brought hot towels. I didn't expect a deep tissue massage. I felt it for a whole week. I decided to make a same-day appointment for a deep tissue massage on a Monday and it was easy to make an appointment online. One thing that I appreciated was that the person at the front desk called me ahead of my appointment and asked what kind of pressure I liked as it was my first time visiting. She said she wanted to ensure that I was matched with a staff member who would best fit my preferences to ensure I had a good experience. I don't think I've had that done before the actual appointment at any other place so that was thoughtful. They even offered to take me in earlier if I was available. Once I walked in, I could tell it would be relaxing as the environment was very quiet and peaceful. As soon as I was out in a room and ready for the massage, the staff made sure I was comfortable and asked if I had any areas I wanted them to focus on, to which I answered my lower back. I liked that they even checked in once they started applying more pressure to make sure it was okay. Overall, I was very satisfied with the experience and as someone who sometimes tenses up during massages because it's too much, was able to a actually relax during my appointment and even dosed off a little. Even afterwards, my body feels great and the lower back pain has definitely improved! Overall, I would recommend coming here and would definitely come back to try their other packages.

She gave me clear instructions and made sure I was comfortable with everything. She also talked to me about the importance of taking care of myself and even advised on other things we can do for next time - like acupuncture and waxing (for my facial hair). And her music playlist is on point! Thank you to my mans for making me go for Mother's Day and thank you, Tiffanie, for your healing hands.

The massage was everything I needed and more. I had never had a Myofascial massage before, so I wasn't sure what to expect other than what I had read online. It involved long strokes, stretching of muscles (and holding some of those stretches for 5 minutes), cupping, and digging into some really tense areas. The CBD was a great addition to add some extra relaxation. 70 minutes was a good amount of time to get to all target areas. I completely understand that emergencies happen, and I hope everyone involved is okay. However, the lack of communication was frustrating. If the employee was unable to make the appointment, I would have appreciated being notified as soon as possible rather than arriving, waiting 20 minutes with no one there, and having to repeatedly reach out myself for an update. Unfortunately, this was a disappointing experience and a waste of my time.
