I had shopped a few of their competitors before I walked in and they were significantly less than the competition. then it came out that the competition was going right for top tier equipment just because they'd make money. they made a recommendation that would cure my major issues. the rear speakers blew in the car (apparently JBL factory sound has this problem pretty frequently). I replaced them and the sound from them was just painfully bright. I wanted wireless Apple CarPlay as I was considering it a safety feature. in other words, one less reason for a phone to be touched in the car. anyhow, both problems could be solved with a head unit swap. initially, I was pretty unhappy with what I ended up with. the factory microphone was NOT retained, the fader was INOP and the display didn't dim with the headlights. I expressed my displeasure at this and then it came out. the adapter (car interface) was not doing the job it was supposed to do. the "right" module took a call to the manufacturer to find because of the year make and model of the car. once the right parts were found, I returned, dropped the car off and waited to be called. this worked out pretty incredibly. he refunded me for the parts that didn't do the job well and charged me the difference for the better module. no extra labor. so again, I would highly recommend this business. they've been around for at least 10 years that I'm aware of. great service from good people.

What a wonderful little surprise it was when I stopped inside Book 'N' Brush! Honestly, I had…read morewalked past this shop many times in my wanderings around downtown Chehalis, but I had not yet stopped in. Imagine my surprise when I walked in and saw what I had been missing all this time!! Truthfully, I thought it was more of a craft store than a book store; but I was completely wrong. There are many, many shelves and aisles of books - much more than I thought there would be. Both "parts" of the store, the books and the craft, are plentiful. Book 'N' Brush have a great selection of all genres of books - adults, teens, kids - and it's already great to have these selections in a local store. Physical space side of things - the aisles are wide, the shelves are deep, book covers are displayed, top sellers are spotlighted - everything is easy to see and the store is easy to navigate. The staff was very friendly with me. Checking in when I walked in and then let me wander and look around without being pushy or making me feel like they were hovering over me. Perfect!! All in all, I was very impressed with Book 'N' Brush and will certainly be back. I love book stores, I love local book stores even more, and this is a great one!

This reminds me of one of those old timey Christian bookstores they had pre-Amazon. Lots of light…read morepouring in from the windows, so it's easy to look at all the homey tchotchkes. My favorite area is where all the Bibles are. My SIL wanted a New Living Translation with big lettering. Not only did she find one with a giant font, but she found one that was super giant font and it was the same size as a regular Bible. I got a Bible cover with a handle on the spine so you can easily protect and carry your Bible into church. What a fun place to shop!
