Super friendly, very familiar with the area and with broad building experience to cover just about anything that you need. He asked us to reach him via his website to schedule a consultation, which was easy to do. He came out to our home about a week later to help us with a sagging garage roof. He quickly assessed the situation and got his emergency team out to help us brace the roof that day. The price for the materials and labor was very reasonable! My first contact with Erickson Builders was through the insurance company when I needed a new roof…read more Grant Erickson went above and beyond what most contractors would,(and have) done. He stripped the old roof down to the plywood, used heavy weight felt paper, high quality shingles, installed metal drip edge,(which some other contractors I have used like to skip) and even built a structure next to the chimney to prevent leaking. All for the same price that other builders quoted but with lower quality materials and no extra added care. It's the best roofing job I've ever seen and I've seen more than a few. Since then, I've contracted for a new garage. He was very open to my input and design choices and helped me design the building that I wanted. He kept in contact and returned my calls and texts promptly. He even sent photos of his progress on a regular basis. I truly enjoyed seeing the building take shape through the photos. It also gave me the opportunity to ask questions and give input throughout the process. I saw the building in person for the first time on May 25th 2018. It is everything I had asked for, built with craftsman quality, and the materials that we agreed on (no surprise substitutions). I have another project planned for the near future and I will definitely use Erickson Builders. Fyi, they get busy early so please contact them early in your planning.

Back in 2011 we bought a piece of land up in the Watersmeet area to build on for a retirement home…read more Not being from the area we looked to the internet for a reasonably priced builder to help with the project as we wanted to do some of the work ourselves. We were fortunate to find Dave and his crew! Our plan was to firstly build a garage and improve the land so we would have a place to stage for the build. Dave came through with valuable help and advice for our needs then and for the future build. He oversaw and completed our garage, entry road, shed, well, septic, and clearing of land. This year we decided to do the house and there was no one with the quality and value combined with good old take care of the customer attitude that Dave and his crew possesses that I wanted to do it. Once again we elected to do much of the work ourselves so we asked Dave to build our design and he jumped right in with advice and expertise. The house is nearing completion and I could not be more pleased. Thank you to Dave, Gordy, Tyrone and all the others making this happen in a timely manner with a quality well valued outcome.
