We were very pleased with the work of Northern Lakes Landscaping. This summer they removed old…read moretimber stairs and decaying retaining walls and replaced them with beautiful stairs and rock retaining walls. The new paver patio and walking areas are really nice. There was so much attention to the details and all tasks were quality work. Rod created the design and gave guidance and suggestions for drainage and functionality. Brian supervised the daily work and kept us informed each step of the way. They even accommodated a last minute change we requested and still got the it done on time. Everything was cleaned up meticulously. The quoted price in November 2024 was the same when the job was finished. They are busy - but are worth the wait. Would highly recommend!

My first contact with Erickson Builders was through the insurance company when I needed a new roof…read more Grant Erickson went above and beyond what most contractors would,(and have) done. He stripped the old roof down to the plywood, used heavy weight felt paper, high quality shingles, installed metal drip edge,(which some other contractors I have used like to skip) and even built a structure next to the chimney to prevent leaking. All for the same price that other builders quoted but with lower quality materials and no extra added care. It's the best roofing job I've ever seen and I've seen more than a few. Since then, I've contracted for a new garage. He was very open to my input and design choices and helped me design the building that I wanted. He kept in contact and returned my calls and texts promptly. He even sent photos of his progress on a regular basis. I truly enjoyed seeing the building take shape through the photos. It also gave me the opportunity to ask questions and give input throughout the process. I saw the building in person for the first time on May 25th 2018. It is everything I had asked for, built with craftsman quality, and the materials that we agreed on (no surprise substitutions). I have another project planned for the near future and I will definitely use Erickson Builders. Fyi, they get busy early so please contact them early in your planning.

This was some of my feedback to Ray 1 week after he cleaned my chimney:…read moreGood afternoon, I wanted to provide some feedback regarding the chimney service you provided last Friday. it is important to note my roof required no ladder to access it. The home is built in to the side of a hill and can be walked on 1. Invest in paper covers for your shoes/boots to be used each time you walk through someone's home from outside. You were in and out of the home several times, leaving a trail of dirt each time. Your customers should not have to Vacuum your footprints. This is a standard in most service industries. Not having shoe covers is disrespectful towards your customers homes. 2. Purchase several smaller, narrower attachments for your Shop-Vac. A 5" wide, all purpose vacuum hose doesn't cut it. Generally speaking, I appreciate the inspection and the general cleaning of the chimney, but overall would rate the job as incomplete: 1/5 The reason for such a poor rating is due in part to not having the right attachments with your equipment inventory and not being able to clean around the box itself effectively. In short, you were sloppy, annoyed at having to check another part of the box, and very anxious to get paid and move on. You were in so much of a hurry, you left your ash bucket in the house and I had to chase after you before you sped away. I spent more time vacuuming and cleaning up after you than you spent cleaning the chimney. I received superior service when Randy owned the business. You were called because I still had his contact information. Lesson learned. I will not be using your services again.
