I have been seeing Siraj Venjara for a little over two months and highly recommend him…read more I started seeing him for chronic pain in my arm that was limiting my daily activities. This pain had come and gone over the years (most likely due to rheumatoid arthritis) and had currently been with me consistently for the last 9 months. I was assured that the specific pain could be completely eliminated and we could then start working more intently on the root cause of the issues.. I was not sure what to expect but felt comfortable at every step of the process. Mr. Venjara is very professional and knowledgeable and has a calming and caring demeanor. He fully engages me in the treatment plan explaining what he is doing and how it works. He checks in regularly during a treatment to see how I am feeling and makes any adjustments necessary. It is amazing to feel improvements every week in so many ways! The most surprising thing I have found is that not only is the pain GONE and has allowed me to resume my former activities but there are many other pleasant "side effects". Mainly, in addition to increased energy and a general sense of greater well-being I have been sleeping with NO problems. This is a huge benefit to me as someone who has had constant issues falling asleep for years. About 2 weeks into treatment I have been able to fall asleep normally EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. Had I known the amazing benefits I would feel I would have made an appointment for acupuncture long ago. I am so glad I chose Bonafide Acupuncture and am so grateful to Mr. Venjara for his compassionate and knowledgeable care that has cured my long standing issues in such a short amount of time. As a side note, visiting his office is a pleasure. The staff is friendly and professional. I have never had to wait past my appointment time to be seen. If you need to see more than one practitioner (I was having medical massage at one point - Alec Menge is fantastic, by the way) they always arranged my appointments back-to-back for my convenience. And, in addition to a confirmation email for my appointment upon booking I always get a text reminder two hours prior to my appointment. If you are thinking of making an appointment, do it. Best decision ever!

At first glance the place appeared very China town type place. However, the treatment I received got me walking after 30 plus minutes of treatment with close to no pain what so ever. Moreover, the fact that the price was a mere 40$ made my decision to go with G&H that much easier. I would definitely recommend this acupuncturist if you can get past the non scenic and spa like ambience.

To my dismay, I was diagnosed with diabetes earlier this year with an A1C of 10! I vowed to eat healthier and exercise, but I wanted to do more because I needed drastic action. Reluctantly I decided to try acupuncture. I went to Dr. Tee religiously for about 6 months, along with diet and exercise.... As well as meds, my A1C is now under 6, and have been at this level for about 3 months now. My physician was amazed by the drastic and quick results. I'm not saying that this is a miracle but it certainly comes close. Of course diet and exercise continue to be important but I certainly attribute this in part to acupuncture. Dr. Tee is the ultimate professional and I am thankful to have met him.

The front desk wasn't very friendly; they seemed overwhelmed and confused, though this was not Raymond's team. His front desk is inside the establishment, so I couldn't speak to them directly and had to have the front desk call his team. There were about 10 people waiting, but they weren't there for him, so I was taken in quicker. The front desk told me it's never usually busy, which was a bit confusing. I also wish they had clarified over the phone that it was split into two businesses so I would know what to expect when I entered. Initially, I felt disappointed and considered leaving, but once I spoke with his front desk, they reassured me that I would be taken care of and everything would be okay. When I met Raymond, he asked me a lot of questions and spent about 20 to 30 minutes with me. I appreciated that he asked for my consent every time he touched me. He worked on my back, applied a heat pad, cracked my lower back, and worked on my legs. After the session, I felt much better. I'm going to try my best to see him on a weekly basis, but his location is quite far for me. He appreciated that I traveled so far to see him based on his reviews. Overall, it was a great experience, and I will definitely be coming back, but I don't know if I'll be able to do so weekly due to the travel distance.
