I needed to be buzzed in and there was a sign showing their location on the lower level. When I walked in, I was greeted warmly by a guy who offered me a seat and asked me to complete some paperwork. There were some other people there as well so that was a good sign :) The paperwork was to provide information about pain areas and such, similar to going to a massage therapy place. Li Ying was the acupuncturist who worked on me and she took her time to ask about my concerns and pain points. When I was in the treatment area, she told me what to expect and showed me the new needles that would be used (new each time). I had lots of questions as it was my first time and she made sure to answer all of them to make me comfortable. She ended up doing acupuncture, cupping and infrared light, as well as some manual manipulation on my main pain areas (neck/trap and lower back). I asked what it would feel like and she mentioned that it might feel like a paper cut, but less (which honestly made me nervous) lol but it actually barely even felt like anything! I'm pretty sensitive in general so I could feel all the entry points, but nothing hurt at all and she made sure to check with each one. The cupping part was some suction cups around my upper and lower back. While working on me she would ask about location and feelings to make sure there wasn't any pain. Numbness and heat could be some of the symptoms, but I didn't feel any of that thankfully. I received a 30+ minute treatment and it was followed up by the offer of water, tea and snacks. Li Ying allowed me to take some photos of the office since I was one of the last ones finishing from their complimentary hours. She also offered some tips and suggestions to help keep my symptoms at bay. I enjoyed my first acupuncture experience here and plan to come back if my pain persists. They take a bunch of insurances and are open Monday-Saturday 10-6pm with sessions typically lasting about 45-60 minutes. I'm so glad I stumbled onto this place - I really enjoy the idea of holistic wellness. My husband is looking forward to trying them out soon too! :)

There was def miscommunication between the bookings, confirming appts, and the website. Basically if you're booking a couples massage don't use the site. It's more for single bookings in my opinion. However Bianca, was so nice--she was able to accommodate us for another date (which we were fine with) at no charge. She calmed me down a lot being that I'm 9 months pregnant. Super sweet and just went beyond. So upon arriving for our actual appts--Bianca greeted us right away. Took our coats and we were led upstairs within 5 mins. They offered tea or water. They provided us robes/slippers and our own little cubby with a lock and key. We waited maybe 5 more mins after we got dressed --then we got taken upstairs. Very calming inside for sure. Andrew was superb! The best. Abs book with him. He was great. For a prenatal massage I felt amazing afterwards. He informed me that there will be times he's going to ask about guidance specifically the hips since that's where I'm bothered the most being that pregnant people can really only sleep on their sides. Just an amazing massage! Get the lavender scent--it's soooo good. My husband had Holly and she was super nice. He said he loved his first massage ever. She was great. This pain had come and gone over the years (most likely due to rheumatoid arthritis) and had currently been with me consistently for the last 9 months. My father, an internal medicine doctor who was also trained in acupuncture, had put me under his Chinese needles for chronic tendonitis and carpel tunnel syndrome but the experience was more traumatic and painful than helpful. I hate needles. As an avid rock climber and ice climber, I was debilitated by a mysterious neck / shoulder injury which rendered muscle relaxer and prescription pain killers useless. Yuliya was then referred to me as a physical therapist and specialist trained with Zero Balancing technique, so I thought I'd give it a try, since the pain couldn't have gotten any worse. I was at my wit's end. The procedure was straight forward. Treatment involved assessment by client self report, evaluation by eastern medicine approach such as pulse reading / touching, and sometimes tongue reading. After assessment, Yuliya released lactic acid buildup by trigger points and instructed me with breathing technique. After the needles she performed Zero Balancing. In the second session she performed an authentic Gua-Sha on problem area. What I didn't expect was a spiritual and life changing experience of freedom and enlightenment instantaneously as a result of the first treatment session with Yuliya. It was better than a deep tissue massage or the time when I felt "high" from post-yoga bliss. I am a 5'7 125 lbs female , not clinically obese of course ,getting a comment from my therapist saying I am fat (out of no where )?! What ???? So I confronted him and told him that I am just 125 lbs and I am 5'7, he kept denying that I was not telling the truth about my weight and kept saying if I lose 5-10 lbs, I would gain youth and beauty. ( are you serious ?? Sir ! I am in my late 20's ) I want to emphasize that he gave this comment out of no where and I was just basically lied on my stomach receiving massage treatment from him while he was talking, not that I was engaging a conversation with him about my appearance ..... I thought about it myself , I don't think there was a language barrier between him and me as I was speaking in his mother language(Mandarin) . Second of all, it is not a therapist business to judge my weight specially there is nothing to judge to begin with . I was thinking in my mind , hello ?! You are a physical therapist and you are not a weight loss consultant :) but just to be polite at the moment, I chose to not say anything back to him. The Esthetician led me into a dimly lit room filled with ambient background music and a comfy massage bed. I booked a one hour hydro facial treatment (extra facial serum with Yelp check in), and the process started as soon as I changed into my robe. The facial creams used during my treatment have this cooling sensation which smells fresh and clean on my face. Esthetician also removed some blackheads around the T-zone (wasn't too painful), toners used on my face were mild and did not irritate the skin too much. A calming mask was then placed on my face, and was told by the Esthetician to take a short nap- which I gladly did. Maybe cause I enjoyed the treatment a bit too much, it felt less than the one hour I paid for.
