Are you a Chase customer? Do you like to pay fees?…read more If you answered yest to either of these questions, this may be the location for you. I need to get a few things out of the way before I start this review. 1. I am hardly ever in fake Harahan. 2. I hate this area of Clearview with a passion. It is chaotic. So with those two facts established, why on earth would I ever visit this branch, or recommend it to you. Here's why........ I am a member of an old fashioned credit union without electronic access, ATM cards, or any way of accessing my money other than going in. I have very little money going to this account, but after a while it builds up. Whenever they mail me a statement I go to the lone branch, get a check and cross the Huey P so I can deposit my check. Where do I deposit it? You guessed it. So that explains why I go here, but why should you? If you ever have to be in this area, this location is pretty convenient. It has two ATM drive thru lanes and a bunch for actual tellers. It is a tad difficult to enter and exit (Enter from Clearview), but there is a red light that will help. I guess this review could have been one sentence. It's a Chase. Use it if you need it.

But today it was two and that little arrow was green so Drivers would never have a chance to know that it doesn't work. One ATM had a sign that said "this atm doesn't accept deposits" and another one I am not sure what is was but I saw drivers backing up from it and going to the only one that worked. After being in line for some time I get to the ATM I was disgusted it! The panel was so dirty! I wish I would remember to take a picture. I will not go to that atm again until they either fix their drive through ATM's or at least wash it or something. To be fair though, I was never inside the Chase Bank there so I can't say anything about it. But drive through atm's is horrible. Come on Chase, do better!

Over the last few months I have become more concerned about the JP Morgan name (a somewhat infamous robber baron in America's early history, whose railroads had a nasty tendency of crushing strikes by the workers), but individual people and the availability of local branches has so far kept me loyal. Chase bank's app and signage in their branches really try to position them as a bank for the common person. But their emphasis on "private clients" - who apparently have more status than the "common man" - and their emphasis on "wealth management" give me concern that they actually are primarily a bank for rich people Today Tenesha offered me a perfect combination of very polished and professional presence with natural friendliness. She told me that she is beginning to move from simply being a cashier to also being a banker. I like the model at Chase that has people switching up roles. I could see her being a wonderful banker. When I asked to get the card for one of their bankers, so that I would have personal numbers to call when the 800 number lets me down - as it has on occasion - she gave me the card of Jennifer Martin. I am going to be in New Orleans for another two or three months and have business dealings in the Audubon Park neighborhood. I may have occasion to ask Jennifer for help - and hope that she will be as responsive as some other Chase bankers have proven to be.
