I showed the lady a screenshot of my confirmation. After waiting 15 minutes past my appointment time, someone came out and offered for me to set the account up online or schedule another appointment. Typically when a business makes an error, they rectify it. This branch didn't.

Are you a Chase customer? Do you like to pay fees?…read more If you answered yest to either of these questions, this may be the location for you. I need to get a few things out of the way before I start this review. 1. I am hardly ever in fake Harahan. 2. I hate this area of Clearview with a passion. It is chaotic. So with those two facts established, why on earth would I ever visit this branch, or recommend it to you. Here's why........ I am a member of an old fashioned credit union without electronic access, ATM cards, or any way of accessing my money other than going in. I have very little money going to this account, but after a while it builds up. Whenever they mail me a statement I go to the lone branch, get a check and cross the Huey P so I can deposit my check. Where do I deposit it? You guessed it. So that explains why I go here, but why should you? If you ever have to be in this area, this location is pretty convenient. It has two ATM drive thru lanes and a bunch for actual tellers. It is a tad difficult to enter and exit (Enter from Clearview), but there is a red light that will help. I guess this review could have been one sentence. It's a Chase. Use it if you need it.

I tried to call the various toll-free numbers listed on Regions' website hoping to reach someone to cancel my debit card and/or put a hold on the account. No such luck - nobody is there until Monday morning. You would think that they would have some sort of 24 hour service for people wanting to prevent their money from being stolen... other banks do, and Regions is quite large. Anyway, since I was unable to reach anyone on Sunday, I called on Monday, only to find out that I couldn't do anything until Tuesday. So, I visited my usual branch at Elmwood/Harahan today once the transactions went from pending and posted to the account. They were so nice and helpful, even though I brought my 1 year old daughter who would not sit still and be quiet. In fact, the woman that assisted me with the process even brought the paperwork to me at work so that I could sign it. Talk about going the extra mile! I've had other issues with Regions, including their fancy new deposit system eating a check deposit once. The staff at this location are always accommodating and reassuring. It only took about a week to find the missing check and deposit it to my account, so I have my fingers crossed that it will only take a week or so to fix this issue too. Now it is in corporate hands, though, so I wanted to go ahead and review this branch for its outstanding customer service.

Over the last few months I have become more concerned about the JP Morgan name (a somewhat infamous robber baron in America's early history, whose railroads had a nasty tendency of crushing strikes by the workers), but individual people and the availability of local branches has so far kept me loyal. Chase bank's app and signage in their branches really try to position them as a bank for the common person. But their emphasis on "private clients" - who apparently have more status than the "common man" - and their emphasis on "wealth management" give me concern that they actually are primarily a bank for rich people Today Tenesha offered me a perfect combination of very polished and professional presence with natural friendliness. She told me that she is beginning to move from simply being a cashier to also being a banker. I like the model at Chase that has people switching up roles. I could see her being a wonderful banker. When I asked to get the card for one of their bankers, so that I would have personal numbers to call when the 800 number lets me down - as it has on occasion - she gave me the card of Jennifer Martin. I am going to be in New Orleans for another two or three months and have business dealings in the Audubon Park neighborhood. I may have occasion to ask Jennifer for help - and hope that she will be as responsive as some other Chase bankers have proven to be.

Except when I'm shown the kind of warm and friendly customer service that makes me want to stop all else, and take a little time out of my day to say THANK YOU both to Capital One and to the wonderful person who works at the Harahan branch. The Harahan, LA branch is very cozy, and not at all what I expected the inside of a bank to look like. It's very clean, warm colors, with maybe a few too many comfortable places to sit or take a nap (if they let me). Thoughts of napping aside, I had barely sat down--expecting a 10 minute or more wait--not knowing the sign in pad didn't captured my name or reason for being there, when Yunique approached me and introduced herself. Yunique is that rare bright spot, worthy of her name in friendliness, respect, and helpfulness. A lovely young person who is definitely a credit to this Capital One branch. She is genuine and eager, not at all the sort of disengaged person one comes to expect with an awkward, but at least functional level of customer service; if not something that hardly qualified as human interaction a decade or so ago. With all the negative reviews below that this bank has received, I wanted share a positive experience I had as soon as I walked in there. Yunique was able to answer any questions I had about a fraudulent debit card charge that had popped up, and quickly processed a new debit card to be sent to me. She also stayed with me, patiently, while I spoke with someone (over the phone) concerning my credit card account. Following this Yunique went above and beyond to she me how to use my mobile phone to interact with the ATM when you don't have a debit card to slot in. The Capital One branch at Harahan provided a welcoming and helping invitation to come in and do business there, with Yunique having made the experience even more so!
