I needed some work done in some uniforms for work and needed a place nearby that was trust worthy and had a reasonable price without skimping on quality, luckily for me I was able to request the name tapes be sewn on with specific color thread and it was placed perfectly. The customer service was warm and welcoming despite there being a sort of dress fitting/alteration taking place. The folks there were attentive and collected which helped earn the fifth star. I had the waists of three skirts taken in. Two for $30 each, and the last one was $40 as they also took in some additional material from the sides. I wanted some additional alterations, but they explained that it wasn't possible with the piece I had. Prices and pick-up date were very clear. Hanah has done everything for me from hemming, making pillows, making a round table cloth while matching the pattern, making a bed spread less wide, taking in jeans legs, repairing mysterious sliced damage in a new pair of jeans, giving a beloved jeans jacket a few more years of wear by reversing a worn collar and shortening tops. She is so talented that you can never tell where she did the work. My items look like they looked when they came from the store. Her prices are fair and she now accepts credit cards which is helpful. I bought my dress to be altered and dry clean. She charged me $80 because the dress was three layers, then she charged me $40 or $45 to hem it as it was large and an additional $20-25 for dry cleaning. Then I got a call that they needed an additional day to fix it. No problem. I went to pick up the dress the day before wedding. The next day for the wedding I put the dress on, no alterations were done. Only thing they did was dry clean it. I had no choice but to wear the dress (I was a bridesmaid). $100+ wasted. I was so angry as I almost fall several time at that wedding. Don't waste or your time and money!!! Go elsewhere! read more

So losing weight sounds great in theory, but one thing you forget is how most of your work clothes likely won't fit as well. Welp, that's exactly what my issue was. So I decided to break down and have some of them altered since they were way too big to wear and feel confident in. Hanah greeted me and I told her my issue, so she told me to try each pair on and she would pin them and give me an estimate for each pair of pants. Five pairs came to $100 which is still cheaper than buying 5 new pairs of pants, plus she did a great job! Turnaround time was reasonable - a week, which worked for me since I was in no rush. This location is right near my job which is a plus, but even still I would definitely use Hanah's services again. read more

Getting your wedding dress altered by someone other than the bridal stores can always be nerve-wracking and stressful if you are unfamiliar with the business. As any short woman will tell you, finding cute clothing that fits (read: isn't 5" too long) right of the rack is a challenge. As a short, plus sized woman, I have two choices: learn to sew and or find a good tailor. Thankfully, there's no need for me to learn to sew because I found Hanah. She's altered four dresses for me now with varying areas needing to be taken in or up. Her work is fantastic and in some cases, even better than the original manufacturer's sewing. You would never know that any of these dresses were altered to fit me, they look like they came right off the rack. I would recommend Hanah to anyone looking for a great tailor at a reasonable price. The worst experience I've ever had with a tailor. I went to get my scrubs hemmed since they were too long. I had a week turn around time. The day I went to go pick up my clothing I showed up and (I'm assuming the owner) was told that my clothes weren't ready to be picked up because her machines were down. Yes, I do know that things happen but if you know a customer is eagerly waiting for their items then you should give them a heads up so they don't waste their time and gas to check up on their clothes. The price was ridiculous! I got the same job done at another place and it was about half the price they charged me there. Same your time and money people. read more

ALWAYS good service. Owner is very friendly and understanding but is firm with her pricing and knowledge because she is sure of her work. I found out about this location when I bought a suit from Macy's at Coral Square mall and was referred by an employee in 2018. I have been coming here ever since, I've gotten sweat pants, jeans, and slacks tailored and hemmed her. The prices are high but does give somewhat of a discount. I recently got 6 dress pants/slacks hemmed and tailored for $35 a piece. Like I said her price is somewhat high (I didn't shop around to see who else alters since I've been to her before) but her Quality of work is always good plus she knows the "trendy/current styles" look you are going for just show her a picture of what you want. EXCELLENT SERVICE. I came to Hanah Tailor & Alterations very last minute. I had ordered a dress online for a charity gala, and the dress came to me with a tear in it! It was also too big in the shoulders. I brought the dress to Hanah T&A asap explaining my situation, telling her that I needed everything fixed by tomorrow at the latest.
