Inside is very nice

We came in to have lunch only to find out nothing on the menu is gluten-free or can be made gluten-free. What a bummer. It's not clear from the menu online as well so I thought this would help for anyone wondering to save you a trip. There is soy sauce already in the rice they use as well. It's a nice space though, just not Celiac safe.

This place is delicious! Wish we had one in Charlotte. Speedy service. I only ordered one hand roll because I've always wanted to try one. Can't remember which on I had but it was delicious!!!!!! I highly recommend this place to anyone in Armature Works. The food was fresh and super flavorful. I would've ordered more but we were trying several places in this huge food hall.

I really enjoyed the concept and vibe of this hand roll sushi bar! Right in the middle of the food hall, I wasn't sure if this would be the place to cure a sushi craving, but it certainly hit the spot. The menus are awesome, it's a checklist of which rolls you want -- or you can order as you go. The service here was very friendly and attentive, and the ingredients tasted super fresh. I tried a couple of the hand rolls including the spicy salmon and the appetizer salmon crudo. Everything was fantastic and I just wanted to keep ordering more! I would recommend this spot, it was efficient and tasty -- literally no complaints.

Love the hand rolled sushi I tried here. The service was fast, friendly and accommodating. I tried the cooked lobster roll which cost $8.95. The roll very was flavorful and fresh. Def will swing back through to check out the other items on the menu. 10/10

I'm a sucker for a great hand roll. These were good hand rolls. So much potential for this place though, I loved the concept and loved sitting up at the bar to get our food. I liked how everything was set up, and it was pretty quick service too which is uncommon at Armature! Would try it again and perhaps get something new.

Lunar New Year Tuna Cutting ceremony and hand rolls from the tuna!!!

Lunar New Year event at Han restaurant in armature works! Live 350lb tuna cutting and processing into hand rolls. The box was $50 for 5 tuna hand rolls, 1 of which being otoro. This is my first time trying this fresh and this many cuts of tuna, it was a special experience! Some event organization could have been improved. They ran out of the special presentation box by the time I received my order so mine was given to me in a to go container. The flavor and quality of the rolls were good. The organizational hiccups made the event frustrating for some.

My first time at Armature Works, and I was surprised to find a handroll bar here! We tried the Handroll Set B for $29.95, which includes 5 handrolls with fillings like lobster, snow crab, and scallops. We loved how approachable and fast the whole experience was -- such a casual, fun way to enjoy handrolls. The ingredients were super fresh, and everything tasted great. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!

I must be unbiased: "SUSHI is one of my favorite foods," but I liked the food here. I have had sushi from so bad I can't swallow to so good I can finish plates worth. This bar was good sushi. I went with my friend here to try a few different locations since it's in a food hall-type area, and I had to go back separately and get a second roll. The prices are not too bad, and the food is worth it, in my opinion. I also mentioned that the chef made the desserts for many other restaurants that the company owns, and I enjoyed our conversation. The atmosphere is a food hall, so take that as you wish, but this was one of my favorite stops from our trip to the food hall.

Kenny and Shawn are awesome. They were able to accommodate my shellfish allergy. The rolls are amazing and so is the ambiance. Will definitely be back!!!

Didn't need all the micro greens for garnish on top but this could be overlooked because taste and flavor was amazing. The tuna tartare was super tasty as well and I would definitely order this again same comment for micro greens on this dish - didn't need this and found myself moving it off the dishes to actually enjoy the item. The two not so favorite dishes for me were the fried rice topped with fried chicken. While chicken was very tasty the rice was extremely basic. Could have used eggs or other ingredients to elevate this dish. Also the Volcano roll was extremely disappointing. Normally the volcano topping is cooked or (torched) and this topping was cold and very unappetizing. Would not recommend this roll. Overall this place is a hit or miss. Service for our large party wasn't bad and everything came out pretty quickly!

We also did half and half with 2 pork belly and 2 Korean fried chicken. The kfc was nothing special I would definitely rather get only pork belly steamed buns next time. The buns themselves were super fluffy and soft! Sushi was pretty mid. The other main dishes and dim sum carry, and would rather spend money on that than sushi. We got the midori, sake me crazy and a sweet potato caterpillar roll. All of it had too much rice in the roll and considering all the rolls are $21 and upwards it makes it feel cheap. They were right on the money, it was ready at 12:47 pm like magic. This time I got the spiced duck instead of the tea duck and I definitely prefer it. My younger son ate a ton so it's a must get. The beef and broccoli and the beef lo mein are both must gets. How do they make the beef so tender? We decided that although the sesame chicken is good, next year we'll try something else. It's fried chicken bites soaked in sauce. My husband liked the spring rolls and wonton soup. We bought an extra side of rice not realizing we'd get rice with the meat dishes so we ended with 3 cartons of rice. I tried the matcha oat milk slush. I love that it's topped with cheese foam. It would be ho hum without. It's on the sweeter side so I definitely need to be in the mood for a sweet drink if I get it again. Parking in the lot is plentiful. It was packed inside so on Christmas I definitely prefer to grab and go. I highly recommend checking this place out.

Where to start about this amazing yet quaint culinary delight on Kennedy Blvd. In South Tampa?…read more Our dear friends decided we needed an impromptu dinner and that we should visit Paul's as they had a few weeks prior, so naturally when your chosen family suggests-" let's do dinner", you do! Paul's is a truly marvelous establishment and its size ( there are probably 10-12 tables) is very NY. Small and intimate but what comes forth from the kitchen is pure magic. The cuisine is an Asian fusion- that word "fusion" is used a lot these days sometimes a bit much, but Paul's can use whatever words they choose because the food is delicious. We started with the chicken satay, and crispy spring rolls. The satay was delightful and the chicken was tender and flavorful. The spring rolls are def made in house- no frozen spring rolls here, and very tasty. I ordered the Pad Thai- with chicken and shrimp at a medium spice level. All I can say is- WOW, just WOW! By far the best Pad Thai I have had in Tampa in 11 years. The subtle flavors coupled with the mild - yet striking spice was a carnival of excitement in my mouth. The chicken was tender was was the shrimp- the noodles cooked to perfection and the dish was NOT wet- it was perfectly seasoned and was accompanied by a Thai chili vinegar on the side and pepper flakes to add a bit more spice- if I had fancied that. Well, I did. Not because it wasn't seasoned as I had asked, but because I decided to add a little more kick! Our server was just lovely- attentive, helpful and always there when we needed her- always checking to be sure we were ok. The time from kitchen to table is perfect- yet there is no rush, the restaurant just wants to be sure you are enjoying yourself! We topped the evening off with a slice of coconut cream pie- fabulous!! Our experience with Paul's won't be our last. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment...from the happy greeting when we arrived to the sweet farewell from the entire staff when we departed. Paul's is a gem on Kennedy!
