I contacted Direct Plumbing Solutions for a quote through the Yelp app and the owner Eric contacted me immediately and scheduled a time for someone to come out the next day to give an estimate (mind you the water heater was still working at this time, I bet he could have had someone come out sooner if that was not the case.) Eric, the estimator, and installer Tom were able to coordinate scheduling and arrival via Yelp messaging or text messages, which is very important to me because I don't have a lot of availability for phone calls while working full-time, taking care of pregnant Wife, and nursing a dog recovering from knee surgery. Tom was the man! I asked him a lot of questions via text messages and he was very quick to respond, even later in the evening. I actually wasn't even present for the installation and instead had a family member at the house and they were quite impressed with him and Direct Plumbing that they ended up scheduling work for their house. When I got home that evening the new water heater was working like a champ and they didn't leave any mess behind. All in all it was a fantastic experience, and I would recommend Direct Plumbing Solutions to anyone. It just seems in Vancouver it's very hard to find honest and reputable contractors, but in DPS it looks like I finally found one. Thanks again guys and I look forward to doing business with you in the future.

I was a building tradesman for 34 years before retiring to the Moscow/Pullman Area. Shawn was recommended to me by a local contractor who I have used and respect. He showed up on time with good communications beforehand. The scope of work was quickly assessed ....it would require changes in the ducting into the furnace unit which Shawn looked over to make sure it was still in good condition and gave it a thumbs up of approval rather than trying to "upsell" me into a new furnace unit. His workmen showed up in a timely fashion and worked a long workday to complete the move and changes....duct work and gas pipe work were required and all was done in a clean professional manner. After it was complete I heard a faint noise after about 45 minutes of running and shut the unit down....calked late the next day around noon because of other things and Shawn had his tech over quickly that day and his tech quickly found the errant strip of tape that was probably not from Shawn's workmen. So fair prices quick and timely responses and fantastic follow up on their work....I've found my Heating & Plumbing contractor in my new home!

After calling around the area, Mike Uhlenkott was the only one who answered right away -- and from that first call, I knew we'd found the right person. Mike's customer service is truly world-class. He came out the next day, explained everything clearly, and even gave me tips on what I could do ahead of time to help the process. He had all the parts ready and got us on the schedule quickly. When he showed up Friday afternoon, he realized I'd torn up the system so badly that we were completely out of water -- but he didn't miss a beat. Within an hour, the groundwork, pump, and pressure tank were installed. Even when he had to leave briefly for a local football game, his crew stayed and kept things rolling. By 9 p.m. that same night, we had running water again! Mike and his team worked late, stayed upbeat, and truly embraced the struggle (just like the sticker on their truck says). My wife and I were blown away by their professionalism and dedication. We couldn't be happier with the results or the experience.
