The anchor stores are Nordstrom, Macy's, JCPenney, and Dick's Sporting Goods. Luxury/designer stores include Burberry, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany and Co., Kate Spade, and Tory Burch. The mall also has many lower-priced clothing stores, including American Eagle, Banana Republic, Buckle, Chico's, Express, GAP, H&M, Hollister, J.Crew, J.Jill, Levi's, LOFT, Madewell, PacSun, Victoria's Secret, White House Black Market, and Zumiez. Unfortunately, a few of my favorite clothing stores have closed since my previous review. Several other stores sell shoes and accessories, such as Coach, Foot Locker, Kay Jewelers, Lens Crafters, Pandora, Sunglass Hut, Swarovski, Tumi, VisionWorks, and Warby Parker. The mall also has electronics stores such as Apple and phone stores. Stores for home goods include Crate and Barrel, RH (formerly Restoration Hardware), Tempur-Pedic, and Williams-Sonoma. Current restaurants are Auntie Anne's, Cheesecake Factory, Plaza Azteca, Nordstrom Ruscello, several casual restaurants in the food court, etcetera. Unlike many other indoor malls, Ross Park Mall is not dead. Most store fronts are occupied, and only a few store fronts are empty and awaiting future retailers.

I most frequently visit this mall for the Target and the Kuhn's, which sell a good selection of products for hygiene, cleaning, home, groceries, etcetera at reasonable prices. I have always been able to find a good parking spot in the parking lot. The mall is safe and clean. The mall is located along the busy McKnight Road for easy access.

North Hills Village is a retail complex on the McKnight Road corridor. At one time it was an…read moreoutdoor mall and along with Northway Mall an extremely busy shopping center. It was enclosed a number of years ago and did okay as a mall until the mid-1980s. When Ross Park Mall opened up, it sucked all the business away from North Hills Village and Northway. Northway became a second-tier mall and North Hills Village became a big box center. North Hills Village now has Best Buy, Target, Staples, etc. From a dollars and cents point of view, it was probably a wise decision to go big box. But North Hills Village is just like any other big box center found from Seattle to Miami.

Other retailers include CVS Pharmacy, Pet People (which recently opened), Supercuts, Trader Joe's grocery store, and some others. It also has a Cinemark movie theater as well as several restaurants such as Longhorn Steakhouse, Panera, Emiliano's, Gigi's Cupcakes, and Bonefish Grill. I visit McCandless Crossing mostly for the Cinemark and the Longhorn Steakhouse. The entire shopping center is safe and clean, and it has lots of sidewalks and parking spaces. Many residential townhouses are located *right next to* the parking lot, which my husband thinks is funny, but apparently people enjoy living there.

My favorite businesses are the Market District and restaurants such as Ichiban Hibachi and Sushi, Bartram House Bakery, and Forgotten Taste Pierogies. The mall can be easily accessed from Perry Highway. The parking lot is fairly large. I have not noticed any problems with crime or trash. I do like some of the businesses here, so I should try to come here more frequently in the future.

I feel interested in shopping at a few of the businesses at this mall. Of course, I could not buy any clothing or household goods here, so I deducted one star. This mall is intended mostly for local residents who need to conveniently pick up some things and do not want to drive farther away. I have experienced no problems with the parking lot.

I visited this mall to eat ice cream at Churn. I thought that the buildings were in good condition and that the area felt safe. A parking lot provided a sufficient number of parking spaces for employees and customers, and I easily found a parking space right in front of Churn. I deducted one star from my review, because I could not shop for groceries or clothing at the stores here.

The mall is located along a busy road, but the area seems to have a low crime rate and is clean. McKnight Road has several other shopping centers. This strip mall is not the best mall, because it has few stores and does not sell many clothes, but it is good for people who live in the area or who happen to be traveling close by.

The anchor tenants here are Whole Foods grocery store, which sells many organic foods but tends to be expensive, and Levin Furniture, which has a large selection of furniture but has not yet fit my personal tastes. Other current businesses at this mall include the Tile Shop, Mattress Firm, healthcare providers (e.g., chiropractor, optometrist, physical therapist, and fitness), personal-care businesses (e.g., nails, salon, and spa), a pet store, a tutoring center, a PNC Bank and a Bank of America, and food establishments (e.g., beer store and some restaurants). My favorite business here is the Graeter's Ice Cream, which serves some of the most delicious ice cream that I have eaten in my life.
