My wife and I really enjoyed this hotel. The beds are very comfortable, and the room was cool to a perfect temperature so he could sleep. Highly recommend this location. You're not too far from restaurants. A lot of them walking distance. And if you have a car just a short drive takes you into the city or you can learn a little bit more about the community. Look forward to staying here again in the near future on our way back from New Orleans read more

This place is brand spanking brand new. If it was a newborn, it would be 30 minutes old. You can still smell the glue in the wallpaper. I have only stayed in the Hampton in one particular city but have never stayed here. I know they have breakfast so I'll check that out in the morning. read more

Dear Hilton Guest Assistance Team, I am writing to share feedback regarding a recent stay at the Hampton Inn in Brandon during the Christmas holiday. I booked two rooms for a four-night stay and wanted to bring to your attention a service experience that fell below the standards I have consistently received at other Hilton properties. On three of the four days of our stay, neither room was visited by housekeeping at all--despite daily requests and multiple reports of the issue to the front desk. On the final day, housekeeping did arrive, but service was incomplete: only one bed was made, used washcloths were left in the room, and soap dispensers were not refilled. Both rooms experienced the same lack of service throughout the stay. While I understand that holiday staffing can be challenging, what was most concerning was the response from the front desk. Requests for basic necessities such as towels and room servicing were repeatedly met with explanations rather than solutions, and on one occasion I felt dismissed for asking for what I consider fundamental accommodations. I would like to note that the rooms themselves were very nice, and the breakfast service staff were excellent--professional, friendly, and attentive. Unfortunately, these positives were overshadowed by the inconsistent housekeeping and lack of effective front desk support. I am sharing this feedback not out of frustration, but because this experience was inconsistent with the level of service I expect from the Hilton brand, particularly at a Hampton Inn. Clear communication regarding service limitations, or alternative solutions, would have gone a long way toward improving the stay. Thank you for taking the time to review this feedback. I appreciate your attention and hope it can be used to improve future guest experiences. read more

There was construction taking place at the hotel And the banner they put up looked like the Hilton logo and so was not seen. The announcement did not make it clear that the food area and gathering area would not be available during the day. It also did not notate the noise that would be heard during the day and evening. But that was not as big an issue as was the clerk when we brought it to his attention. He dismissed the concern and stated nothing he could do. There was no offer of anything to make it right and did allow a manager to be spoken to. Just dismissed us. I did follow up with the manager and was told I needed to Speak with the owner. I tried several days to get in touch with him only to be told he would call which he never did. I finally got a call from the hotel manager who quickly stated it was posted on the web site that they were under construction and when I challenged him in that with it was very hard to see, he just stated that was all that Hilton would allow them to do. He then offered 5,000 points due to the inconvenience which I never received. I have made it a point travel with Hilton as I have had great service with them but this hotel will never be stayed at again by us and it has made me question my loyalty to the brand. Very disappointed and customer services was less than a zero. Do not recommend this place to stay for anyone. read more

It was an ok stay- disappointed that the prices seemed to go up right after the tornados (due to supply and demand) I asked if they had any rooms -as I was driving home from Florida - The front desk immediately threw out a price of a room and asked if I wanted it I've never had that happened in all my years of traveling. Left a bad taste in my mouth - felt I got cheated on a higher price due to weather - That hotel was not worth the price but it is the best hotel in the town read more

Nice clean hotel. Friendly and competent staff. Very easy access off US 65. Plenty of parking. Some minor maintenance issues, but nothing of consequence. There is a coffee maker and mini fridge in the room, but no microwave. I don't understand why no microwave - I guess they're going the way of the mini-bar. Still, a snack nuker would be nice. Breakfast is complementary. Nice. read more

So for starters, the price. $175 for a NIGHT is outrageous especially for the quality..plus a rambunctious $75 just for a tiny jack Russell terrier-beagle mix that doesn't even bark? Not just that, they make you pay for the "premium wifi", their normal wifi doesn't even have good connection. It doesn't load videos and takes 10-15 seconds to load a search. And the snack prices..don't even get me started. $3 for a small half bag of chips. $4 for a snickers bar?! It's practically a scam. Although the pool is amazing and was literally empty when I got there at 10 in the morning, and was very clean. The water pressure in the shower was great too, overall a 3/5 seems fitting. Almost forgot to add! The front desk lady wad a sweetheart, we didn't have the deposit that they didn't mention online or in the call but we had walked all the way over there and she let me and my dad still stay the night. Props to her read more

Absolutely filthy! Do not stay here. We stayed here 1 night because every hotel in town was booked. We thought the Hampton brand would be solid, but boy were we wrong. No hotel should be this filthy. Needless to say, we did not enjoy our stay. We did get our stay comp, but that was only after the front desk attendant tried to tell us he wouldn't be able to address management about the issue, and he also told us the issue was not a big deal in his opinion and that he was too tired. We were tired too after a delayed flight, only to get to your hotel room and find mushrooms growing in the bathroom. Yep mushrooms! Mold exposure! read more

absolute horrendous experience at this hotel. checked in went to my room. Tried to take a shower no water pressure. Don't wash your hair because you will never get the shampoo out. Woke up next day and the elevator was not workin. Had to walk down 2 flights of stairs. Which I did. I asked when the elevators would be fixed they had no clue. Late that evening they were working. Next morning they were out again. The front desk has the most unfriendly people they do nothing to help you. Supposed to stay three nights, but checked out the next day. I will never stay at a Hampton Inn again. read more

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights while I was in town for my nieces graduation. After the second night I asked for my bed to be made and for fresh towels. I was told they couldn't do it unless I had been there for 72 hours. I took a picture of the sign on the mirror and took it to the front desk and proceeded to have a completely brain damaging conversation with the lady at the front desk. I asked for a manager and there wasn't one on duty. I paid close to $200 a night and had to argue to get my bed made and fresh towels. I travel often and will NEVER stay at a Hampton Inn again. read more

Unfortunately I had a family member pass away last week and wanted a hotel close to the funeral home in White House, Tennessee. Surprisely, several options were available for a small town and just off of I-65. I've had good experiences in the past with Hamptons and they were very close to the funeral home so I booked 3 nights. The hotel sits back off of Highway 76 on Hester Drive and is hard to see from HW 76. Watch for the McDonald's on the corner of HW 76 and Hester. The hotel grounds have beautiful trees and lovely landscaping surrounding the hotel. Parking wasn't an issue even though they were almost sold out. The hotel clerk was friendly and greeted me with a warm welcome. I personally called to make reservations in hopes of getting a first floor room. I was told no problem but when I arrived I ended up on the second floor. Not life or death but more difficult for me. The room was a king, as requested, and the door had a clean, unbroken Covid-19 seal on it. The room had all the standard amenities except a microwave. Microwaves at this location are only in the suites. Who knew? I was quite disappointed but now know for my next trip. At least I had a cold mini fridge, functional TV, great water pressure, room darkening shades, an excellent air conditioner and a functioning blow dryer. The comfortable bed and pillows were clean and I didn't find any type of bugs. I check! Covid-19 guidelines are being enforced with masks required outside of your room, door seals, hand sanitizer at the front desk, lobby furniture has been removed and the hot breakfast buffet has been replaced with a brown bag breakfast (fruit, granola bar and yogurt to go). Cracker Barrel is within walking distance. Coffee pots are in each room if you need coffee or drive across the street to one of the fast food restaurants. The pool and workout situation requires a signed release, schedule your time (1 hour) through the front desk, receive your towel and off you go at your appointed time. I checked availability but they book quickly especially on the weekends. The hotel supplied everything I needed except a microwave. Of course having a relaxing, hot breakfast with coffee and no Covid-19 restrictions would have been convenient and a dream at this time. However, I think those days are probably gone. Regardless, I slept well, the room was clean, temperature was perfect for me and the staff was friendly. I'd stay here again. read more

Oh my goodness! LOVE THIS HOTEL! The rooms are spacious, quiet and super clean. You get a great place at a great price! The open area is wonderful if you want to play games and visit. The breakfast was very good! This hotel had a "YOU ARE HOME" feel because the general manager Harold, staff Patty, Keena and Jason, as well as the housekeepers were soooooo amazing. I hope the owner knows how blessed he is to have such an amazing staff. They took pride in their job and this hotel! read more

Something big was happening & all hotels in the area were booked solid. Could have headed north into southern Kentucky but it was late & I was tired due to dealing with a sudden death in the family. Long story short, Cigarette butts outside the door, the room itself reeked of cigarette smoke, there were cigarette burn marks all over the sink & wooden chair. The tub didn't drain after a shower so I was standing in a tub of water. The flooring had huge gaps in the tile & there was bug crap all over the borders of flooring. The front door had a gap on the bottom so that explained the roach crap. The remote control was "greasy" even while using it with a napkin over it & washed my hands frequently. Walls were scratched & unclean. Bathroom floor grout was black with crud & buildup in the corners. Called Motel 6 to complain & the gentleman on the phone was very nice, helpful & easy going but after he contacting the owner / manager of the 37188hotel, all I could get was 25% off. read more

This was our final Hampton Inn for our trip to San Antonio and back. As a fan of Hampton Inns, they are usually my first choice unless their room rate for the night(s) I want are not competitive. For this stay, the price was right. At check in we received a friendly greeting, a quick check in, and a brief explanation of the internet login and breakfast times. When we got to our room we found what we expected, a clean, comfortable room with all of the usual Hampton Inn features like refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, flat screen TV, desk, and reasonably fast internet. For breakfast there were all of the familiar items. I started with the hot foods first, Scrambled Eggs, Sausage Patties, and Breakfast Potatoes, and followed that with a Waffle. My wife had her usual Oatmeal, Yogurt, and a bowl of Fruit. Being adventurous is great but sometimes you just want the familiar. This stay was definitely the familiar with friendly staff, a clean and comfortable room, and a tasty breakfast...no surprises. read more

We stayed at the Hampton inn White House while visiting Kentucky Downs, which is just about 15 minutes away. Besides the convenient location (shared parking lot with cracker barrel was helpful too), the price was reasonable and the amenities are the standard Hampton inn amenities, basic free breakfast, coffee and refrigerator in room, and a comfortable bed. Usually I give Hampton inn hotels of five star rating, but this one provided a first time experience that I've never encountered - upon checking in, the door to our room could be opened with no key and just by turning the door handle. I'm glad that I happened to check the door handle, since anyone could have easily accessed the room had I not noticed. The hotel did make a fast change to another room, and I anticipate they'll get that fixed. Overall, a decent experience and a place that I consider returning. read more

Extremely disappointed and aggravated. Find another place to stay in town, there are many other places. We checked in for an 8 day stay that we made the mistake of prepaying in advance. When we checked into the room we found a horrible moldy smell in our room. We asked to move and we're told they didn't have any other rooms for a couple of nights. We accepted but asked that we get one day off as we stay at a different location. They agreed and also offered a reduction in the daily rate to accommodate us. After 3 days we found that no refund had been given and we were told to call the 800 number since we prepaid. We called and opened a case and we were told they would address it. Before we checked out we were told "no problem we've processed the refund and thank you for staying". 10 days later still no refund, 2 additional calls to the 800 number. They've now said they didn't know it was prepaid and I need to wait another 10 days and they'll refund one night stay. I'm tired of waiting and wasting time calling. BTW in the new room we had a serious Ant problem. Find another hotel! read more

Staff was wonderful, hotel lot was well lit and area felt very safe with lots of restaurants nearby. The hotel seemed extremely clean, beds were comfy, thankfully a/c worked great, breakfast area was very and being maintained constantly by employees, and well stocked. Huge bonus, the showers had great water prsssure. And hotel offered digital key...One of the nicest Hampton's I have stayed in. I'm not sure if the few bad reviews I read were accidentally posted to wrong location but this definitely does not feel older, I saw nothing that was not clean, and did not experience . The hotel is dated and smells of mildew. Its in serious need of some updates. On a positive note, it was clean. Plus the staff is friendly.

My fiancé and I had been driving all day, traveling cross country. Robin was the best. She was so kind with her greeting and made check in seem like an absolute delight. I noticed our refrigerator didn't have a freezer and we had an ice pack to keep the insulin refrigerated for our diabetic dog. She completely understood and placed it in their freezer for me. Hampton Inn is one of my favorite of the Hilton brands and this hotel did not disappoint. It is either a new hotel or has been remodeled recently, which was nice! We arrived late at night and were greeted by Mark at the front desk who checked us in. Mark was an absolute pleasure, very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and nice. The room was freezing when we walked in as the heat had not been on, but as soon as we turned it on, it warmed up quickly! In the morning I could hear guests in the hallway, but it is to be expected staying in a hotel, nothing out of the ordinary. We had breakfast at the hotel since it is free. Just the usual breakfast but very tasty! I had a waffle and my boyfriend had eggs, potatoes, and sausage. The breakfast attendant was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again when traveling and would recommended it to anyone. The rates were standard price, not too high for the quality of hotel. read more

Stayed here July 17th, jacuzzi room 128. I sent a message 1st to Hilton on their customer service email, and a few days later on their experience review they sent me and still no response. There is a colony of worms that have invaded the room. They live in the bathroom by the shower. I picked up and flushed at least 2 dozen and they still kept coming. I took pictures and showed the person at the desk and while he apologized, all he did was just apologize. He said they will rip it out and remove the worms. Just curious if that really happened. read more

This Hampton was ok, I would give them a 3.5 stars but it does not give you that option. Only because of the price and the service. The rates were higher than most that I've stayed at. The coffee was empty most of the evening we arrived, the soap dispenser in the men's bathroom in the lobby was empty until the next morning and the guests that were staying that night were very noisy . The staff working the desk were average. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The complementary breakfast was good and the people preparing the food kept the area clean and the station full of fresh prepared food. I think for the money the service should be much better. read more

Great night of sleep! Love the CLEAN duvets Pulled in because of rain from Barry. Clean, nice, quiet, and a great breakfast. The staff was so nice - I had tried to get a reservation at a Hampton Inn in Goodette(?) Not nearly as expensive and great staff!!!! read more

Initial thoughts: we arrived early (a little after 2) and were told that check in was not until 3, which was fine as that was typical, so went across the road to the Cracker Barrel and had a late lunch. We came back at 3 and the rooms were still not ready. Though oddly another group checked in at 3:15 we all had reservations ...we finally checked in about 3:20...and then there was a problem with my card (there wasn't my bank confirmed) which we finally got sorted out. Night 1: The Good-beds were comfortable, pillows fine. The place was clean. The Bad-the walls are made of paper, we could barely sleep as people were walking above us during the night and it sounded like a herd of beasts. I've never been to a hotel where people bothered me like that. So far? New does NOT equal better read more

We were quite disappointed in this hotel. Since we can't afford to vacation often we reserved here because they had an indoor pool and hot tub. We arrived only to find that the pool was being repaired. Since we had 5 nights booked the assumption was that in a day or 2 it would be up and running or maybe the hot tub was functional. Neither happened and when I inquired there seemed to be no projected date so 5 days with no pool. I was also disappointed to not have a microwave in the room. That seems to be standard fare in hotels nowadays. No lock on the bathroom door. Not fun with teenage boys not respecting each other's privacy. Lastly they only offer maid service after 3 days and when we requested it a day earlier they called to ask us to leave our garbage out and never provided the maid service. Because there were four of us we had to request towels soap shampoo and even when we had maid service we weren't left any soap or shampoo or toilet paper. 2 rolls for 4 people for 5 nights just doesn't cut it. I had to help myself to toilet paper from the lobby restrooms to make it through the night. I think I will not be booking a room with Hampton inn in the future and certainly not in White House. Tennessee. read more

This is a standard Hampton. It accepts pets. Which is great if you have your pets. But it's not so great when you aren't traveling with pets, and they put you in the dog rooms. They smell like someone tried to cover over the smell of dogs. But they still smell like dogs. We stayed in rooms 124 and 125. They should clean better, and they should let people know that aren't traveling with pets that they are being put in pet rooms. I would stay here again if I was bringing the dogs but not if I wasn't. read more
