There are several good restaurants in the immediate area. My room has always been clean and comfortable. Nice shower with plenty of towels. Breakfast is standard HIE but everything was very clean.

The pool is okay, it is salt water and had a lot of chemicals, that burned my kids eyes pretty bad later, but it was a pool. We laid down later to get ready for bed and my daughter was complaining of itchy legs, I chalked it up to the pool chemicals. About midnight, my niece and boyfriend were just sitting on the bed and the frame broke. It was unexpected but stuff happens. They offered to move us rooms, but the littles were already asleep so we dealt with it. After laying down to sleep, I got bit on my back. I knew immediately it was a bed bug bite, I have a really bad reaction to the bites. I checked things out and found a little one under the sheets. Everyone was already sleeping, so I waited until morning to deal with it. Turns out my son in the other room was bit multiple times throughout the night, as was my daughter. We packed up and alerted the desk to the bugs. We gave her the one I found and killed and she said she was showing her manager. We weren't offered any kind of compensation, rate refund, free stay, nothing. We didn't receive any apology. Hopefully they take care of the issue, but beware, there ARE bugs. The rooms were 208 and 210.

    So far this place sucks! $200 stay…read more Breakfast is only 7-10 AM 1st Rm #204 temp was only 55 F Outside was 30 F Heat didn't work at all Bed light didn't work Bathroom door didn't fit (had to shoulder it with some weight to unstick it) Only 1 USB port and outlet between beds No outlets near beds on either side Bed frames bigger than mattress - I killed my shins twice, wife killed hers once within first 10 minutes in the room Replacement room #225 HOT 79 F Eventually cooled to reasonable in about 45 minutes Missing bench like seat provided in previous room Door connecting our #225 with next door #227 locks ONLY on the #227 side Told it would be ok, they won't rent that room out while we are here Land line phone doesn't work to call in complaints to the desk Ice machine on 2nd floor not working Manager said building is ONLY 2 years old and "already falling apart" Newness explains why rooms and rest of building were pleasantly clean, modern and fresh Night manager was friendly and accommodating to with the circumstances she was dealt. Not sure why employees / management can't find and address or prevent guests from dealing with them but there definitely needs to be some protocols in place that prevents the guest being inconvenienced by all theses issues when the company is being paid premium rates. I'll need a really good experience from Marriott before they'll get the benefit of the doubt and or my trust again. So

I could not make it, but I called and told them my wife was staying. They said no problem. Four hours later when my wife arrived they told her that they did not have a room and come back in two hours. When she returned they said I had to be there. When she said that she did not understand and that I had called, they canceled the room, kept my deposit, and told her that they would not help her. She went to HIlton, Hopefully not operated by Ascent Hospitality They were irrational, even the Bonvoy supervisor believed they were unprofessional.

The elevator was out of order, but fortunately, we were on the first floor. The hallways were humid and smelled musty, and our room also had a musty odor. We even noticed mildew on the ceiling. Aside from that, the room was clean. Unfortunately, our toilet wouldn't flush. I had to lift the lid and unstick the plastic valve several times. The shower fixtures were rusty as well. When I visited the fitness room, I found that one of the treadmills was out of service, and the one I ended up using had a broken speed button. The staff was friendly and responsive. They fixed the toilet while we were away, but it was temporary. The old, plastic fixtures in the tank repeatedly stick. The place needs renovating

The toilet would not stop running, the game room, and bathroom were not clean, and the hit tub was closed for maintenance. Upon approaching the pool area, a resident of the hotel recommended us not to swim in the pool because it had not been cleaned in a long time. No pop vending machines were plugged in, stains on the sheets, and the front elevator was broken. The receptionist was nice though. Maybe if the fixed these things and cleaned more often it would be nicer.

My mom is wheelchair-bound, so it was essential that they have the one handicap-accessible room with a walk-in shower, as shown on the booking app. Before the wedding, I confirmed with the front desk that this was indeed the room my parents would receive, and was told yes. When my parents arrived after driving three hours, they were checked into the room only to find it completely unusable--mattress and box spring pushed against the window, trash bags left in the bathroom, and overall not prepared for guests. After moving all their belongings and my mom back down to the front desk, staff admitted, "Oops, we aren't supposed to use that room," and reassigned them. The new "accessible" room only had a standard tub with a grab bar, which my mom cannot use. This left her without a safe way to shower or use the restroom during the most important weekend--her granddaughter's wedding. I had to pause wedding preparations to scramble for a solution. No other hotels in the area had a walk-in shower available. In the end, the best I could do was find an emergency appointment for her to wash her hair, which cost $75 just so she could feel somewhat prepared for the wedding. Despite that, she went two full days unable to shower. What should have been a joyful weekend was made unnecessarily stressful and upsetting. My parents and I were left struggling with unsafe and inadequate accommodations, despite the hotel's prior confirmation that the correct room was reserved. To make matters worse, multiple staff members were unable to offer any meaningful solution or even a discount for the trouble, despite the fact that they had confirmed the accessible room just the day before. This experience was deeply disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone needing reliable accessible accommodations. If a hotel cannot provide or guarantee the accessibility features it advertises, it should not list them at all. Misrepresenting accessibility is unacceptable and leaves families like mine in impossible situations.
