I would have slept great if it weren't for hearing every single door open and close on our hall. Or hearing the people next to us talking at all hours or hearing people I. The hall till midnight. Needless to say the walls are thin. The bathroom was cleanish and the shower had great water pressure and hot water. Plenty of toiletries for two people to use and wash their hair as well. Nice bath towels. They weren't to thin or stiff. Breakfast was typical hot breakfast and my kids love making their own waffles. Extremely close to the wagon wheel and shopping and places to eat. The pool is okay, it is salt water and had a lot of chemicals, that burned my kids eyes pretty bad later, but it was a pool. We laid down later to get ready for bed and my daughter was complaining of itchy legs, I chalked it up to the pool chemicals. About midnight, my niece and boyfriend were just sitting on the bed and the frame broke. It was unexpected but stuff happens. They offered to move us rooms, but the littles were already asleep so we dealt with it. After laying down to sleep, I got bit on my back. I knew immediately it was a bed bug bite, I have a really bad reaction to the bites. I checked things out and found a little one under the sheets. Everyone was already sleeping, so I waited until morning to deal with it. Turns out my son in the other room was bit multiple times throughout the night, as was my daughter. We packed up and alerted the desk to the bugs. We gave her the one I found and killed and she said she was showing her manager. We weren't offered any kind of compensation, rate refund, free stay, nothing. We didn't receive any apology. Hopefully they take care of the issue, but beware, there ARE bugs. The rooms were 208 and 210.

I could not make it, but I called and told them my wife was staying. They said no problem. Four hours later when my wife arrived they told her that they did not have a room and come back in two hours. When she returned they said I had to be there. When she said that she did not understand and that I had called, they canceled the room, kept my deposit, and told her that they would not help her. She went to HIlton, Hopefully not operated by Ascent Hospitality They were irrational, even the Bonvoy supervisor believed they were unprofessional.

Aside from that, the room was clean. Unfortunately, our toilet wouldn't flush. I had to lift the lid and unstick the plastic valve several times. The shower fixtures were rusty as well. When I visited the fitness room, I found that one of the treadmills was out of service, and the one I ended up using had a broken speed button. The staff was friendly and responsive. There weren't any broken appliances or burned-out lights in the room, the AC worked well, and the beds were comfortable. The only complaint we had during our stay was the shower. While taking a shower, some of the water would still only come out of the tub spout, meaning that the water pressure left a little to be desired. Also, the tub drained very, very slowly so that the water would be up past your ankles after taking a 10 minute shower. Other than the shower, staying here was a good, affordable experience. I'll most likely stay here again on my next trip to Warsaw.

I was approached by a man in the parking lot who wanted to know if my dog was okay with other dogs. When I told him leashed dogs only, he proceeded to berate me in the parking lot and stated he had no intention of leashing his FIVE big dogs. I went to the front desk, and got No help. The staff was young and seemed indifferent. Don't they have leash laws in Indiana? This is a huge liability issue. This guy's dogs also ran loose in the hotel!! And.....Our room was badly in need of an update and dirty. No cups in the room. The room smelled like mildew and bleach. Breakfast was fair- but the sausage was cold. Overall, not a good experience. Wish there was something good to report- but no.
