    Hampton Inn Warrenton

Arrived late and left early, I had no issues with this Hampton. My room was clean and comfortable, the bed was good, the shower was fine, there were plenty of towels and the coffee machine in the room worked just fine. I didn't use the wifi, the pool, the television, the fitness center, the business center or even the breakfast in the morning. I spent 7 hours here, 6 of which were asleep. But I would return if I'm in the area or passing through.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn Warrenton for four nights. My insurance company put me up here while waiting for water damage to be remediated in my condo. I checked in on a Sunday afternoon. The front desk already had my information, so check in was very easy. I had a room on the 4th floor. Very comfortable and clean. The room included a large mini-fridge, a microwave, coffee maker, computer desk, phone, clock, and USB charger bedside, A flat panel TV rounded out the offerings. The WiFi internet access was fast enough - I did upgrade to the faster flavor. Downstairs in the lobby area there is ample seating. I sat and worked for a while on my MacBook Pro. Breakfast is offered here in the mornings - no menu just a ala carte style - whatever that put out. There is one flat panel HD TV here. I watched the Sunday Night football game here. I think they should replace the TV with a much larger model. Overall the staff was friendly and helpful. I'd stay here again!

One of the better Hampton Inns I've stayed in. Closer to a Hilton than a Hampton. Very friendly staff and no issues at all.

Very nice Hampton Inn. Seems to be relatively new. Flat screen tvs in the rooms and nice large bathrooms.

The owner, Lynn welcomed us on arrival and gave us a tour of the barn and introduced us to her horses the next morning. We stayed in the Great Expectations suite and it was truly comfortable with it's jetted tub, perfect mattress/bedding, and the private porch, beautiful at sunrise.Little touches like a glass of port and chocolates upon returning to our room after dinner were appreciated. Sometimes B&B's, especially historic buildings can get "tired" or behind in upgrading. The Black Horse has very tasteful and comfortable furniture and antiques, and the building was in a great well cared for condition. The town with it's history, pleasant walking tour, great shops, and restaurants, and the many wineries, brewery, and other activities are a joy. While we didn't go for a wedding, it is easy to see why they are such an acclaimed destination for such.Their facilities and setup are perfect. Bottom line: Money well spent, relaxation assured. Highly recommend. Jeff Shultz

Same with a tailgate tent for the dj for outside. We paid for wine service and only after asking for it did they do half our tables. The rooms are old and the main manor smells like it. The main room in the stables had no cold water in the kitchen sink and the ice maker didn't work. You can lotion your body 12 Times but there was no soap to wash your hands. The wedding and reception was well run and we had to switch to inside. The coordinator told us grandparents won't be escorted to seats but they set the grooms but not the brides! Really. The coordinator made no effort to find the parents before the cake cutting or the last dance. Or even the exit. And there were three we told would be everywhere. The front entrance looked like a horse pasture with dead grass and weeds. We were told that would be replaced. Nope. Pathetic first impression. The communication was terrible. Only after aggressive attempts at contact do they reply. The wedding coordinator was very helpful and necessary. The "sales girl" treated us like unwelcome guests the day of the wedding saying nothing as she walked by and was snarky when she did talk to my wife. They tried to extort a rehearsal dinner fee for the entire wedding guest amount when less then 40% were coming to the rehearsal. You pay for the weekend and they want money to let you eat after the rehearsal. The owners just seem to be looking for a payday. Nice location good food great place to have a wedding. Be careful with the staff and service. The staff changed about 3 times from booking. They give you a wrong WiFi code then go radio silent to get correct one. They knew our experience had been less than happy yet they make no effort at a last impression other than another bad one.

I was sad to see only one swan there this year. I'm not sure if the others passed away but I'd think they would at least have a pair and hope the swan isn't lonely. I reserved the 12 PM Sunday Easter Lunch this year for my family of nine for $890.40, including seven adults and two elementary school children or a total of nine. It was raining quite heavily during our drive down. Luckily when we arrived a little before noon the rain had changed to a light drizzle. Needless to say the weather was not good on Easter Sunday. We parked our vehicle. The atrium was a short walk from the parking lot. When we checked into the atrium entrance we were immediately directed to our table for nine. Luckily they had some coat racks so we could hang our rain gear. The bar was set up outside the pavilion. Six fluted champagne drinks paired with peach, pear and pomegranate were available for $12 each. I enjoyed my two glasses of Roget champagne for $12 each. Complimentary canned carbonated drinks were provided to our two elementary school children. The prime rib was decent, but the lollipop lamb chops were too tough. My other family members also complained about the tough lollipop lamb chops. I only ate one. I enjoyed the snow crab claws the most. My cupcake and small mousse were acceptable. We departed before the next 2 PM lunch reservations arrived. The restrooms are located outside of the atrium up a staircase, which was not convenient. Overall our family of nine and I did not think that this Easter Day lunch was not worth $100 per person excluding alcohol. We will not return here for either Easter or Mother's Day brunch/lunch in the future. Also because of the poor rainy weather an egg hunt was not included. I found another yelper Brandon, who attended the same lunch as my family. Brandon immediately posted a 1 star negative yelp review. Please read it for another customer's perspective of the same event. I found that reviews ranged from 1 to 5 stars so this place is not consistent in ratings. The variation in ratings seems to be due to whether you attended only a conference/housing event or other non-housing event such as Easter Brunch/Lunch. You can judge for yourself by reading all reviews and deciding if you want to visit here for an event. Don't get me wrong, but the natural grounds and pond here are quite nice. That is worth your visit. My review is mainly regarding the Sunday Easter Lunch.

As soon I pulled up to the property, I loved the structure of the buildings displaying pretty various stones. I couldn't take any pictures since it was pouring rain when I was there. As soon as I got into my hotel room, I felt so relaxed. I love the ambiance and how calming everything is. The room was super clean and everything was placed so perfectly. I do not sleep well in hotel room beds but I was pleasantly surprised on how comfortable the bed was and I was able to get some needed rest. Literally everyone was super nice, friendly and helpful! I have to give a special shout to Marianne Postma-Harris for being so generous and accommodating, I really appreciated it! Marianne went above and beyond to ensure that I was well taken care of! She was beyond friendly and sweet! Breakfast is included in the stay which is a plus! You fill out the door tag menu they provide you and you leave it outside the door and then in the morning they bring it directly to your room. I had a veggie omelet and it was so delish! Def recommend that one for sure! Even though I didn't get a chance to take advantage of their restaurant or spa services, I plan on my next visit! It is such a nice local get away and also a great place to have a gathering or a special event! I cannot wait to go back that's how much I loved this place!
