The rooms are nice. The one I had is all I can give experience of. I was lucky and got the last room. But it was near the door to the outside, so there was not a stopper on it, and it was slam shut, which was not great in the middle of the night. I am a very light sleeper so I do take accountability for that, and the refrigerator made warring growling noise quite a bit through the night. So I did not get a good night sleep which I was hoping for. The breakfast was wonderful. Staff was absolutely phenomenal and help. Teddy was a great help getting everything situated and giving me the information on when breakfast was when check out was where my room was located. It was definitely not his fault that there was only one room left since there were weddings and other events in the area. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was large and the room was very clean which is a huge thing for me. I have to have clean and sanitized. Overall, very good. I think just the sounds is something that may or may not be from the area and possibly age of the hotel that being said I took my pen sleep and consideration. I did have a bit of a sticker shock on pricing. I got a discount, but it's very interesting. How much it cost for a hotel room here. Virginia is not inexpensive. read more

No hot water Chtistmas eve or day. Refused to refund me anything and said I had to go to 3rd party reservationist. Tried that and no communication from them at all. The desk girl, Briana, was very rude to me when I finally got a real person on the phone. I tried leaving 2 messages to the manager but he never responded. The facility is nice, very clean and well appointed. Right I. The beginning of Warrenton just before you hit the main drag where all the fast food and some casual restaurants are. I have only seen 4 people work the front desk and they are equally pleasant and helpful. Since I was here on an extended stay they gave me sound recommendations. I have the opportunity to use the pool which was a nice side and also INDOORS. There is a laundry area and a work out gym. (Not designed for the muscle factory). They do have free breakfast in the morning which opens at 630 am (don't quote me on that because I'm usually out the door at 430 to open a restaurant at 530 am...) the food isn't bad but not great. They have the ever popular waffle making station (which needs to be upgraded) most hot foods are usually frozen and baked. Just wished they took a little time to flavor it up a tad. Arrived late and left early, I had no issues with this Hampton. My room was clean and comfortable, the bed was good, the shower was fine, there were plenty of towels and the coffee machine in the room worked just fine. I didn't use the wifi, the pool, the television, the fitness center, the business center or even the breakfast in the morning. I spent 7 hours here, 6 of which were asleep. But I would return if I'm in the area or passing through. read more

Confortable, cleaning hotel close to downtown Warrenton. Nothing memorable about this place, but they definitely keep it clean. Breakfast is available but someone will prepare your order for you to avoid the spread of germs that COVID brings. read more

I stayed at the Hampton Inn Warrenton for four nights. My insurance company put me up here while waiting for water damage to be remediated in my condo. I checked in on a Sunday afternoon. The front desk already had my information, so check in was very easy. I had a room on the 4th floor. Very comfortable and clean. The room included a large mini-fridge, a microwave, coffee maker, computer desk, phone, clock, and USB charger bedside, A flat panel TV rounded out the offerings. The WiFi internet access was fast enough - I did upgrade to the faster flavor. Downstairs in the lobby area there is ample seating. I sat and worked for a while on my MacBook Pro. Breakfast is offered here in the mornings - no menu just a ala carte style - whatever that put out. There is one flat panel HD TV here. I watched the Sunday Night football game here. I think they should replace the TV with a much larger model. Overall the staff was friendly and helpful. I'd stay here again! read more

I stayed here for a solid week for business. The room was nice no issues, shower had plenty of pressure and no temperature problems. Bed was comfortable. The TV location kind of blew in that if you were using the work desk you could not see the TV. The free breakfast every morning was good too. Usually some type of egg (omelet or scrambled) a meat product (sausage or bacon) and potatoes on the hot side. Cereal and oatmeal were also options. My only complaint with my stay here was housekeeping. I didn't have a problem with the bed not being made daily or changing of sheets but I had the call the front desk a couple of times to replenish towels and soaps/shampoos. If I could give 0 stars I would. DO NOT BOOK A ROOM BLOCK WITH THIS HOTEL. Absolutely terrible response time, no remorse in not responding to emails timely after following up several times, or simply answering their front desk phone. The "front desk manager" is apparently the only one that can do anything with the hotel blocks and no one else can so anything to help, not even the general manager. I gave plenty of grace in response time and as a bride who is stressed enough having to personally manage a hotel block is unacceptable. There was not one apology in response to the items mentioned above. Not to mention that the follow-up on this by Hilton itself was unsatisfactory. The Hampton Inn Warrenton needs better controls in place to ensure that they can meet ANY hospitality industry expectation/standard. I have lost ALL respect for the Hilton brand. I am extremely disappointed in this location and especially Hilton overall. I will NEVER give my business to Hilton. read more

Over the years, both in my couple of decades in the Navy and then as an art dealer traveling and schlepping art all over, I've stayed in 100s of hotels in many countries... and with all that in mind, let me tell you that seldom have I encountered a friendlier staff than in this place! Everyone, from the front desk lady to the cleaning staff... wore their smiles and friendly attitude at all times: Southern charm at it's best! The included breakfast ranks amongst the best that I've had in a hotel of this kind... lots of choices, including a wide variety of healthy choices, including an amazing and freshly squeeze choice of fruit smoothies! Several egg choices and a tasty chicken apple sausage! The lady who worked the breakfast station was an Energizer bunny! Everything was restocked the millisecond that it ran close to running out and like her coworkers, she was super friendly as well! My highest possible recommendation! Ah! I went to tuck my daughters in before I went to bed. When I pulled the covers back, there was a bed bug crawling on her. When I moved both my girls off the bed, there were more in the covers. I was so frantic and disgusted, I called the front desk. The employee working overnight was no help at all. In fact I felt like I was bothering him. He said well do you want me to come get them? I said no. Hung up and started packing at 2am!!!!! Went downstairs, the employee didn't believe me, even after showing him the pix, saying, it's hard to believe that the cleaning lady missed it. Room 320 nasty! And so was that employee. I had a 7 year old, 5 year old and one year old with me as well as my mother. Very upsetting. read more

We had no particular expectations, so we were pleasantly surprised: freshly washed duvet covers, complementary M&Ms, fast wi-fi, real plants in the hallways. So well maintained that it still looks new! The staff was pleasant & efficient, bed was very comfortable, nice size mini fridge & microwave, good shower with nice high shower head. My wife and I visited Warrenton and the Hampton last week for one night. We were extremely pleased with all aspects of our stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating as we checked in very early in the day. Our room was large with a very comfortable bed. Actually the room was nicer than most of the 'high dollar' hotels that I frequent for business. The room was notably clean. Actually, the hotel itself could be described extremely clean. The water pressure and hot water controls in the shower were nice as well. That is always a plus for my hotel ratings. The location was convenient to everything that we needed. The chain restaurants are real close - not a fan there - try one of the local restaurants in the old-town area. I have not stayed in many Hamptons, but this experience has made me more likely to stay in one in the future. read more

I stayed here because I was in town for a wedding last weekend. So very nice here! I may like this place better than my own apartment! The rooms are modern and the linens were so clean and comfy. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and came in handy after a long night of wedding party duty. For some reason I got locked out of my room twice, becuase my key got demagnetized. However, the front desk staff were really nice and didn't mind at all to code a new key for me. When I come back to town, I definitely want to stay here again! read more

The general manager was a joke. My son is in the National Guard in Warrenton. He needed to stay there for his drill this month. I have gotten him a room here before with no issues. I am a long time Hilton Honors member, and I have never been treated this way. I called to add my son to the reservation. I was asking about checking in on the app to have my card used. The manager said I couldn't do that, and I had to request a digital key. I explained that I didn't like those keys and wanted him to just stop and get keys. He said I would have to do a credit card approval sheet. I explained I have never had to do that, and just wanted to check in on line. He kept saying I had to do digital check in. I finally drug out of him that the digital did a credit card verification. I asked why the regular check in didn't, and asked why he didn't just explain that. He went on to say he was just going to cancel the reservation. I then got irritated, and asked why. He said he did not like my attitude and they did not want my business. So, I had to then get a last minute reservation at the Hampton Inn in Gainesville, VA. They were more than happy for my business, added my son the the account and I did the app check in with no problems. This should NOT be allowed to happen. read more

Clean and for the most part well maintained. Staff is friendly, prompt and helpful. The location is decent with easy access to major roads and just close enough to the downtown area to walk if the weather isn't too bad. If ever in Warrenton again, I would choose this hotel. The one knock against it is that the shower door was off track. I informed the desk clerk as I checked out, so if you get room 425 and it's not fixed, hold it against them. read more

The room and prices were great. We stayed there over the 4th of July weekend. My kids loved the pool. Another thing they looked forward to was the breakfast. So we were up bright and early. Since the virus is still active there was a lady serving us what we wanted. I had three kids and myself so it was a little hectic for the server no doubt. The choices were not very kid friendly and what they chose they didn't really like to much. Now I got three bagels and didn't know my 4th child wanted one. So I told her go ahead up and ask for one and see if you can get my some more eggs. She goes up and comes back and says the lady told her she couldn't have anymore food because they were limited to their supply. UM!? Why is that the guest of the hotels problem? Anyway I'm not a Karen so I wasn't gonna make a stink I just told my daughter we would get something after we check out. Apparently she heard me and came out the other door asking me about the bagels I originally got saying I ordered three did they all get eaten? lol say what!? So then I got a tad irritated and said yes they did I ordered three and there are four of us. So my daughter wants one! She gave her one but made sure she told me how they were limited. My take on the situation was she was very rude but tried to be rude in a nice way. read more

Front line customer service was awful, specifically the manager on duty Anthony. He refused to honor our request for privacy. My wife came down with a bad case of the flu and barely could get out of bed to use the bathroom while we were guests at the hotel. Making an already bad situation worse, Anthony insisted "inspecting" and vacuuming the room after 3 days of the do not disturb sign on the door. After explaining the circumstances to Anthony he wouldn't budge. He was unresponsive to our comfort and needs as hotel guests. read more

We stayed at the Hampton Inn Warrenton because our friends were staying there, but it turned out to be a great choice. The hotel lobby, bars, cafes, lounges were all so spacious and beautiful. Each person who worked there was as nice as could be, from maid to security guard . The food was excellent there, and we ate at the restaurants more than once, although it was , of course, costly, as is typical for an VA hotel restaurant. Would definitely recommend for a downtown hotel with a lot more personality than usual. read more

Due to COVID-19, I was unable to make my stay at the Hampton Inn in Warrenton due to Virginia's shelter in place policy and was charged as a "no show". The stay was booked for a wedding that was originally scheduled for the 18th of April, but was cancelled due to the virus. When I spoke to the front desk manager she was extremely rude and unsympathetic to my situation and the global pandemic. I asked if there was a possibility to have a credit for a future stay - at minimum. She asked for a future date and obviously at this time, that is extremely uncertain so I did not have a date for her off the top of my head. She then proceeded to state that there was absolutely nothing she could do for me. This was confusing to me as she had asked if there was a future date I had in mind, but because I didn't have another date ready for her she was unwilling to work with me. Other hotels that I had booked internationally and nationwide have automatically cancelled and refunded hotel stays that are unable to be attended due to state and country wide lockdowns. Will not be returning to Hampton Inn. read more

Called while enroute to my destination and was told that occupancy would not be a problem no need to make a reservation if we would arrive by the time I stated. Upon arrival a different employee was at the desk and very rude claiming system was down and would not be available for over 45 minutes (after 8 hours of driving), when I explained what the lady had told when we called, the male night clerk stated well you did not talk to me (never checked any records, or room holds) and he could direct me to another facility. He was very rude and I felt like not a customer but like a person interrupting another individuals coffee break. For a 2 1/2 star hotel, this place is the best in Warrenton. We travel there frequently to visit family and this will be our "go to" place. We have price shopped and stayed at some places of equal star rating, but paid a little less, big mistake! We will stay here from now on. Friendly staff, very clean rooms, and updated accommodations. I have made reservations for family and they have been really happy. It is clean and well kept with friendly staff. They have a very good breakfast bar off the lobby in the morning...good coffee.. My grand daughter enjoyed the swimming pool. It is the best place to stay in Warrenton. As an aside, there are plenty places to eat in the area; many chain restaurants. Perfect view! Room was very nice. Bed was comfortable. Executive Lounge breakfast had a lot of choices and very good. Everyone friendly. There was one rude guest that would not let two young men sit with her and her friend(they were in their sixty's). Claimed they were saving seats. Never saw any one else come. The Executive Lounge has limited seating....be nice. This is a very nice place and most people were on their best behavior and very friendly. The staff in Executive Lounge are extremely hard working and very nice. The front desk was helpful in getting the bathrobes that were missing in our room. Overall had the best summer weekend in Chicago. Stay at the Hampton Inn Warrenton!!! read more
