Loved it here, drove in late, looking like a zombie from driving all day. Front desk guy helped me and treated m so politely. I scored the last available room!!! Slept like I was on a cloud in a super comfortable bed. Slept 6 hours, the same cool guy at reception gave me a breakfast bagel to go. I was off again to keep driving. Staff were indifferent and appeared inconvenienced to provide any service. There were two women in charge of the check-in reception desk. But they only wanted to talk to each other. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was not well stocked and bread was dry etc. read more

Great location!!! But if it wasn't for the nasty email I got from the General Manger calling me a liar when I told Hilton Customer Service the A/C unit would get cold, the fridge would get cold (under 68) even when set on 58 and the shower head was wobbly, I would have gave a 3, but now they get a 0. She told me I should have said something at the front desk....1. I should have to! 2. It was 11pm after driving all day, last thing I wanted was to ask for a maintenance man to be in my room all night. I was then sarcastically given 2k pts for my "discomfort". 2k points is nothing lol They told customer service they wouldn't refund me because they took pics of the units working....how do you take pictures of feeling cold? I had to throw all my food prep away because it was hot the next morning when I took it out of the fridge. Anyways, Thank you to Hilton Customer Service for adding enough pts for a nights stay. I didn't even add that there was no hot cocoa & enough teas/condiments on the beverage station when you came in, no dog waste baskets just bags & trash piled on the trash cans inside. Arrived to learn from the desk clerks that the room I'd reserved had been "given to a walk-in" and the "only room left in the hotel" didn't meet the conditions my reservation e-mail "guaranteed." There were several signs that the room hadn't been cleaned. Worst of all, the trash hadn't been emptied. Not reassuring in the COVID era. I am honestly disappointed with my stay here minus the AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am giving the hotel a 5 star rating for the employees that assisted my concerns. Had to pull over for the night to stay for the snow storm that hit unexpectedly. There were a lot of other hotels to choose from for the night, but I am a Gold member and I always have had great stays with Hilton hotels in the past so of course I was going to go with the Hampton for the night. Upon arriving, I got my room and received my key. I was not offered anything for being a gold member, but I did request waters. Walking into my room, I was happy with how clean it looked, until I walked into the bathroom. I have no idea if this was poop or dirt smeared on the side of the bathtub, but I was immediately disgusted. I took a picture and called the front desk and he immediately took care of me and told me to come down to get a different room. It was already super late after driving hours on the road and I was just ready to get some quality sleep. I got the card to the new room and walked in. This room had a huge musky scent and it smelled as if someone sprayed a ton of cologne in it before I walked in. It was giving me a headache and Couldn't even get fresh air because the windows wouldn't open. I turned the a/c unit on and then found another discrepancy. The unit was extremely loud and obnoxious. I couldn't believe it at this point and just needed to get rest , so I just stayed in there and slept it off. Woke up with a headache and not happy at all. The breakfast was okay. The eggs seemed to be sitting there for awhile and cold. The biscuits were hard as rocks. I just ended up eating an apple and made some packet oatmeal. Was happy with the tea selection. There was chai, green, and peppermint tea. Thank you to the customer service in the AM as well, but I probably won't stay here again the next time I'm traveling. read more

We need more young gentleman like Austin! How can you not admire a young man whose job is to work the front desk and yet you see him around the hotel happily going above and beyond his job. Austin's personality is welcoming and warm when you meet him at checkin. During our stay it warmed our hearts and gave us hope to see him helping coworkers in the dining area by emptying trash without being asked, straightening up the lobby and vacuuming the carpet at the entrance. We mentioned to Austin that we were happy to see him helping, and he told us that he was glad to help, and that she was the best cook he had ever known! It's hard to find employees like Austin, and we witnessed no other employee quite like him during our first retirement trip of 24 days. We are very happy to be able to witness Austin's generosity and love of his job. What a fantastic employee during times when businesses are having a hard time filling all of their positions. Any employer would from having Austin! There was another gentleman, we did not catch his name, who brought an ice bucket and extra pillows to our room. When we tried to tip him he said no no I am well paid. The hotel was clean and well cared. We believe all of this is a testament to great management. Keep up the exceptional work. read more

My husband and I have stayed here two seperate times during our last road trip The rooms are quiet, clean and super comfortable. Check-in was done on- line and my digital key worked great. Absolutely no complaints! They even provided cereal and other options I could eat! I have Celiac and have to eat gluten free. read more

Great bed. Great pillows. Great nights sleep. Clean, updated room. Nice lighting. Quiet. However, front desk was not consistently "manned." We had to wait for check in. No one was there at checkout, so I didn't get a copy of my bill. Limited parking in front, even with handicap designation. We were given water bottles at checkin-much appreciated. Breakfast was cold cereal, sweet rolls, apples, oranges, and rubber boiled eggs. Grab m go. A breakfast sandwich or burrito that could be microwaved would have been really nice on a cold morning. read more

This is a very nice, clean and updated facility. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Only 4/5 stars because of the DANGEROUS tub. It's narrow like most hotel tubs, but also has slanting sides so there's no level place to stand. Thank goodness for grab bars! read more

I've stayed here a number of times because it is conveniently located directly off the freeway and is at the halfway point for a long drive I've made regularly. Their is consistently a strong perfume smell in the lobby. The first time I smelled it I figured it was a patron. But I've smelled it every time I've stayed there. I realize now that it is something the staff must be using to cover another odor. The thermostats in every room I've stayed in are not suited for the units in the room. They do not work correctly and you must leave the fan on to get the unit to function. This hotel is not in keeping with the standard of a Hilton. read more

At first I was ready to give this Hampton Inn a five star review. The room was clean, the location was great, there was no highway noise. But when I got into the shower before we left it was dirty. I should have checked it the night before, but since the room was clean, I just assumed it would be as well. There is just no excuse for what I saw, indicating no one had even tried to clean the shower. I'm not sure I would stay here again considering the lack of complete cleaning. read more

I love this hotel. I was passing by just for a night. So happy I found this place. We checked in with Halie, who was the sweetest. I watched her interact with other guests while we were waiting in line. What a sweet little soul she is. She was very patient, professional, kind, and friendly. You can tell she loves her job and customer service. Our room was very nice. We were facing the back which has a really nice view of the strip. I loved that there was a bath, a huge bed, couch, and microwave. They were very accommodating by letting us park our Uhaul truck where we needed. I would absolutely highly recommend this wonderful hotel. read more

I just wanted to let it be known how the workers are treated... A young man name Zayveon worked there at the Hampton Inn in Van Buren and he TRULY loved his job even when the manager at the time name Kevin would have him working 7am-11pm 14 hr shifts! Days in a row!... STILL he never complained.... Sometimes he would work 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm but mostly Kevin would make him work 7am-11pm and since he been working there he NEVER got a lunch break or even a 15 min break... Most times when Zayveon was supposed to get off at 3 Kevein would tell him he has to stay until 11pm... Or Kevin would just put on the schedule for Zayveon to work 7am-11pm... But Zayveon never complained! Also Kevin would mess Zayveon's time up as if he didnt work the hours he worked and his check would be short and his last check was short and Kevin NEVER fixed Zayveon's time nor paid him his correct amount of money! Zayveon would work the front desk and he would also take the workers that stayed at the hotel to their job sites... He told his manager KEVIN several times about how he was treated by the guys that he would drive to their work sites... They called him GAY they even said that he was SLOW (mentally) Kevin NEVER did ANYTHING about the situations! Anytime Zayveon would have an issue with a customer and would call Kevin about it... Kevin would tell Zayveon to handle it himself... Zayveon had been threaten he has been cursed out and Kevin never did anything about it! The last straw was when a white lady came to stay at the hotel and she came in ALREADY UPSET and complaining about the prices and at one point she got mad because she couldn't get a refund... She asked Zayveon ONE time...ONLY ONE TIME that night for help! And that was with her television and Zayveon went to the roon and fixed it... But she LIED to management and said she asked Zayveon several times that night for help with things and claim he never helped her... THAT was a LIE! But management believed HER! The only thing she needed help with was her television that she couldn't get to work... AND ZAYVEON FIXED THE PROBLEM by simply unplugging the television... She also LIED and said that Zayveon had "his friends" behind the counter... Kevin looked at the cameras and saw Zayveon NEVER had his friends behind the counter... With that being said and Kevin KNOWING she lied on this 18 yr old kid.... Kevin should've known she lied about him not helping her... The ONLY reason his friends were there is because Kevin had Zayveon working 7am-11pm with no lunch break LIKE ALWAYS and they brought him some food so he could put something on his stomach... He NEVER got ANY 15 MIN BREAK OR A LUNCH BREAK EVER while he worked there! He would work some days 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm or 7AM-11PM WITH SHOULD BE ILLEGAL having to work a 14 hr shift... BUT ZAYVEON WOULD ALWAYS WORK THE 14 HR SHIFTS AND NEVER COMPLAIN! This woman LIED on Zayveon and he was let go... Zayveon was NOT allowed to defend himself with these allegations brought upon him by this woman! And Kevin the manager had proof that she LIED about his friends being behind that counter... The same friends that KEVIN said could come and bring him food! She LIED saying she asked Zayveon several times for help and she claim he wouldn't help her... When in FACT she asked Zayveon for help ONCE with her television and he DID help her and fixed the television! Zayveon LOVED his job and was a VERY hard worker and management did NOT have Zayveon's back with the situation... Because why... Well that woman is a customer that brings the hotel money and Zayveon is replaceable OBVIOUSLY! read more

This is a wonderful hotel! Staff is helpful, rooms are nice (especially if you are upgraded like we are!) and the breakfast is good. Good location (go down to the stop light when you leave), both close to the Interstate and close to some quality restaurants. Never have stayed to visit the area, but plan to. HHonors Diamond members will be especially pleased with their rooms, if an upgrade is available you will get a very nice small suite. read more

The room was clean and neat. The front desk staff efficient and courteous. The bed was hard, not very comfortable.... The free breakfast was not worth the price... Every table dirty, the selection very poor and lacking and dried out --- this is at 7:45; can't imagine how bad it's going to be later. The 4 star rating has nothing to do with the hotel staff. They were absolutely the best. It was the shape of the bathtub that made taking a shower so uncomfortable. I think it is odd to have a bathtub shaped like horse trough with a rounded bottom instead of flat. The hotel was clean and the southern hospitality shown to us at breakfast was exceptional. The desk staff was very friendly and made our 4 night stay enjoyable. The location is adjacent to I-40 yet beautifully secluded nestled in the trees. We ate at La Fiesta (good) and enjoyed our meal at Frank's Italian (within walking distance). Braum's ice cream is not far and is always a good stop during the hot summer months. Found the location pretty quick since its right off the freeway. Walked in and it look new. I checked in at a good time. Wasn't any body at the hotel so my 2 boys enjoyed the pool all to themselves. The pool was clean and the right size for the family. Only bad thing was there was not refrigerator in the room. Clean rooms. We had the 2 queen beds. Staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel is waking distance to restaurants. The price was a good deal for a family of four on a road trip. Breakfast was great. It was till 10 am so we didn't have to get up right away. Ashley at the front desk was very friendly. Room accommodations were up to the typical standard. I saw another review were somebody commented on the bath tub. I would have to agree I don't think the tub would be very suitable for children but we have no children with us so it was fine for us. The breakfast was OK but I've had much better breakfast at Hamptons in the past. It seemed easy to hear the people in the room next to you. Overall the stay was nice. A lot of nearby convenience in walking distance. read more

Exceptionally friendly staff! The hotel is a standard Hampton-- comfortable beds, clean rooms, coffee in the lobby, free breakfast w/ Belgian waffles, etc. This location does have feather and down pillows. The staff is what makes this location rise above. They had 8 different flavors of cookies and when we joked about wanting more than one they gave us extra. They made popcorn each evening as well. The kitchen staff was very friendly and would do her best to get anything you need, and to keep all of the food fresh and hot. Front desk staff remembered us and asked about our day. They gave us recommendations on restaurants that were spot on. read more

I stopped here on a road trip and the room was what I expected from a Hampton Inn. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was a fairly quiet area for being so close to the interstate. However I did have some problems. The Internet was very slow, so slow it was unusable and half of the TV channels were unavailable. I expected my receipt to be left under the door but instead I had to wait at the front desk for 5 to 10 minutes for someone show up and get me a receipt. read more

I should of ran away right then, He put me on the third floor, and the whole floor stunk to high heaven, I already have a sore throat, wife asleep cant change floors (if that would even help) .
