They also have breakfast bags in case you can't make it to breakfast. So thoughtful and nice! Rated 3.5 Just returned from a family vacation to Six Flags, for which we stayed at this nice establishment. Overall the experience was good and we may choose to stay here again. Checking in was easy and the front desk staff was very friendly! We were arriving late night on Friday so I had called that day for them to leave a note on my reservation. We noticed their small store next to the front desk with food, drink, and personal care items available and thought the selection was well done (I didn't buy anything from it so cannot comment on the prices). The room was clean and tucked in the back by the parking lot. We were actually able to see both the theme park coasters and our car from our room. Score! Unfortunately, this is where they lose points for me. The options of what to watch on the TV were meh with bad channels and half of them losing signal. The Wifi was spotty and slow, but useable. The bed was soooo hard that I tossed and turned both nights and ended up with a sore back and neck. The other members of my party did too, one of which was sleeping on the sofa bed and commented it wasn't so comfortable either. This is obviously a personal preference, but it is a big deal for someone about to go enjoy the day at a theme park! The walls are thin, being able to hear people pretty clearly in their rooms as you walk through the halls ( *.* ) and when in your room, but we didn't have actual issues that stemmed from this. We ate from their breakfast spread both days we were there. They offered several juices, coffee, premade omelets, sausage rounds, potatoes, muffins, scones, bagels, toast, oatmeal, cereal with regular and almond milk, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, and two waffle machines with vanilla or red velvet batter. The food was meh lacking in flavor, but it also wasn't the worst we have had so we were happy it was included in the price to stay. On a side note, Dutch Bros is a literal 1 minute walk from the entrance of the hotel! Blessedly they had a shuttle that ran all day from Six Flags to the hotel which saved us $50 in parking. We had to call when we were ready to be picked up and they were there within just a few minutes. We decided to swim and enjoy the hot tub after our day at the park. It was fairly full of people and one of the cabana mattress covers was ripped up making it unusable, but the experience was fine. There were towels available by the door and the outside pool was heated, but still cool enough for enjoyment. The hot tub helped our sore muscles, but the jets aren't really usable on your body as they are way too strong. Ultimately, if the beds were softer and the breakfast a little better we would have no hesitation returning next time we wanted to go to Six Flags. A solid 3.5. It lost half a star for my post stay follow up which I will get into. I arrived at 1-1:30am and the doors were locked which is fine, I get it is for safety. They have a buzzer/door bell you ring. I rang it over 3 times while the staff stared at me and my 10 year old through the window. I don't think myself and a 10 year old look very threatening but maybe we do. I get inside, get out my ID and credit card. They find my reservation and tell me the deposit is $116.18. Kind of a weird amount but it is late, I have been traveling on a plane, in a car and am coming up on 19 hours awake so I don't care I tap my card, get the keys and leave. Check in took way longer as the employee was telling me "it didn't go through." It looked like it went through on my end but we got a room so I didn't care. Got to the room and basically crawled into bed. Woke up at 7:30 and decided to go down to breakfast. They had 2 waffle machines (one that makes a big waffle and another that makes 4 small waffles) they had 2 different kinds of batter (one was the regular kind and the other was banana bread) they had cheese omelettes, some kind of sausage, potatoes, scones, muffins, bagels, hard boiled, eggs, yogurt, fruit (bananas and apples) and cereal. Several juices, hot water for tea, hot cocoa and coffee. The omelette was meh. The potatoes were meh. Overall it was included with our stay so I was happy. Went upstairs to shower and get ready for checkout. The room was clean and we were able to shower, pack up and get ready to leave. Introduced my kid to old school Scooby doo episodes while we waited to check out. Headed downstairs to check out and asked if they store luggage since we were going to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom and I had an SUV with no cover and worried about the car being broken into. They store luggage, tagged it, gave us claim tickets and we were on our way. Came by after SFDK and picked up our luggage, it was quick and easy. I got home, checked my credit card so the charge as pending and knew it would drop off as we had been in our room all of 9 hours not enough time to do damage. Few days later charge goes through. I called the hotel. No answer. Called the Hilton 1-800 line and they were able to reach hotel. They charged me for the room "accidentally." I spent 15 minutes calling and being on hold to get the issue resolved so I docked half a star. We had a room that faced the road and due to this it was very hard to sleep as there was lots of car noise. We used a white noise machine and ear plugs which muffled it. Within our room it was the fridge I believe that keep cycling and making a loud metal clanging noise which could be heard with the noise machine and ear plugs. I woke up 6 hours after arrival not because I felt rested and ready to start the day but because I could not sleep due to all the noise in the room. I appreciated that I could adjust the room temperature and keep it nice and cool. Overall a good stay for my purpose. They had a pool we would have loved to use but it didn't pan out with our schedule. I would stay here in the future but request a room not facing the road. Another odd thing about the room is when we got in, in the wee hours of the morning the traffic noise was really loud. I walked over to the window and it was slightly ajar. I closed it and locked it (was on the 3rd floor) but I was shocked you could open the window. I feel like other hotels I have stayed at the window does not open. We decided to book a last-minute overnight stay here and it turned out to be a great decision. Since we were heading to Six Flags later in the day, staying in the immediate area saved us a lot of hassle.The hotel itself looks newer, modern, and very clean. Check-in was a breeze, and the front desk girl was friendly and welcoming. Our room was also a very comfortable size.The absolute best part of this location is the shuttle service. It picks you up right in front of the lobby and takes you directly to and from Six Flags. It completely eliminated the stress of parking, walking a long way, or transferring to other shuttles. There were rooms on the other side given to other customers who checked in after us. Next there was a crash and no water. We were late to our NASCAR race. On our most recent visit to Napa, we stayed overnight at Hampton Inn Vallejo; near the Six Flags Amusement Park. At first glance, the hotel looked nice, the front desk was modest; the lobby was small but cozy. The pros: (personally) I liked the bed, I thought it was pretty comfortable; I like their sheets and the duvet was warm enough even the down a/c to 68 degrees. We like that their showers are stocked full of towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap and lotions. We like their sheets different amenities they offered like the bottomless, complimentary coffee/tea/hot cocoa/iced water station, the pool and spa, the gym. The free complimentary breakfast buffet was great too. They served 3 different kinds on juices: apple, orange and cranberry, cheesy omelettes, French toast, sausages, bagels and cream cheese, muffins and toast, fresh fruits, hot oatmeal with all kinds of toppings, cereal and milk plus a make-you-own waffle station with all the trimmings. There was a tiny convenience store and ice machine by the front desk. Now, the cons: my sister's room had a leaky a/c unit, it soaked the carpet and they had called it to be serviced but no one showed up and my brother waited up until 1am. Someone came by and jiggled the door handle in the wee hours of the morning that it woke both my sister and nephew from sleep. I also noticed a few spots in an otherwise clean bathroom. The carpet was squishy and not in a pleasant way; fortunately we always pack slippers. The dining area hosted a private party the day we checked in; the next day for breakfast, I noticed some of the chairs and tables were stained or still dirty. It could be from a guest who had eaten breakfast before us but we got up pretty early and went to breakfast around 6am; so, the cleaning schedule at the hotel could be improved. Also, since our rooms were on the first floor; you can hear every freaking footstep from the floor above; it took us forever to fall asleep because someone was either stomping or running or jumping upstairs. If you can sleep through anything, it wouldn't be a big deal; fortunately, we were all very exhausted, but the noise did wake us a couple of times. PRO-tip: book a room on the 3rd floor if you're a light sleeper. Other than that, we had a nice stay, The rooms were mostly nice, the staff were friendly and extremely polite plus there was a cost was reasonable. Overall, we had a decent night's stay but there's definitely room (no pun intended) for improvement(s). read more

Ok, so here we are, ready for this rollercoaster and not just Six Flags. The amazing trip. So it's time for our Spring Break experience to come to life. My kid, bless her screen addicted heart, was finally over being screen locked, she pleaded for a trip, and it was my Friday on Thursday, and with my trusty passport membership, Six Flags was calling. So I know my kid, and I figured the chances of my kid willingly leaving a theme park before the park's resident owl started were slim to none. So, drive up Thursday, hotel, conquer the park Friday, and leisurely cruise back Saturday. The drive up on Thursday, which I thought a 1 PM departure from the South Bay, would equal little traffic. Let's just say the entire Bay Area population had other plans. Four hours later, I finally arrived in Vallejo. But then, the hotel room. Holy moly, spacious doesn't even begin to cover it. I swear, I had to double-check if they'd accidentally put us in an ADA suite - it was THAT big. The bathroom? I could host my dance party in the shower itself. My 11-year-old, naturally thrilled, claimed the king-sized bed and politely relegated me to the pull-out sofa. All good, though! The view of the hills and the sneaky peek of the park to the side PERFECTO! Now, let's talk about the pool and jacuzzi. Seriously fire. And get this, the pool was HEATED. Yes, in the unpredictable April chill of Vallejo, I swam in a comfortably warm pool. The next morning, breakfast. Oh. My. Goodness. These folks didn't just hit it out of the park; they launched it faster than Wonder Woman. I was so carb-and-protein-loaded (eggs, potatoes, waffles ) that I pretty much ran on fumes and a rogue PB&J all day. But wait, I left the kiddo's shoes at home. Mom-fail level: expert. But the front desk staff? Actual da best. They rattled off a few shoe store options, and one was the answer. She found shoes she likes more than her regular ones. When does THAT ever happen? Oh, and about "with the chickens"? That wasn't just a figure of speech. My wake-up call wasn't the usual city symphony of honking cars and distant sirens. Nope, it was the delightful "cock-a-doodle-doo" serenade from the neighbors' feathered friends. Country grammar is greater than city noise, any day. Especially when my usual alarm clock is a Cal Train. The night itself was blissfully quiet, though. Twenty-seven rides later (and a mild case of the spins), I was back at that glorious breakfast buffet. I'd envisioned a Peloton session, but vertigo had other plans. Apparently, according to the 11-year-old, the hotel Peloton wasn't working anyway. The Marriott across the street is probably weeping into its lukewarm coffee. This Hampton Inn (owned by the mighty Hilton, and they're living up to the name) is clean, spacious, and the pool is sparkling. My only tiny caveat? Tread carefully around the pool deck - it's a tad slippery. My room had one minor hiccup, but honestly, with how clean and genuinely nice the room was, it was a blip on the radar. If you find yourself in Vallejo, STAY HERE. The breakfast is worth it. The pool is pure chill vibes,. This is your haven - families were everywhere. Hilton, you sneaky genius, you found a gem. Five stars, would recommend to my worst enemy (so they can finally have a good night's sleep). read more

We enjoyed our stay here! It's right across from Six Flags lol so it's the perfect place to stay for that. Unfortunately I went on a weekday and for some reason Six Flags was only open on weekends! I loved the free coffee in the lobby, definitely one of the better hotel coffees with options for light and dark roast, decaf, and hot water. There are tea bags and stir sticks, napkins, and creamers. Our room had a king bed and it felt spacious with a couch, desk, mini fridge, and microwave. The toiletries smelled nice lol the hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. I enjoyed the hot tub! The jets were very strong and it was nice and hot and they have pool towels out there. They also have a nice fitness center, with four treadmills, weights, yoga balls, a bike, and an elliptical. The cherry on top is the hot breakfast with nice variety - scrambled eggs with cheese, potatoes, chicken sausage, and waffles. They also had some pastries like muffins, fruit, yogurt, and juices! Meh. Checking in we were met by a man and woman. The guy wasn't super friendly, the lady was kind and made conversation. Con's: Got to our room on the third floor street side is loud. Entering the room it looked nice enough, but once in and getting settled you could see the place was not super clean. The wall paper was coming off of the wall and everything could use a good deep cleaning. Walls are thin and we could hear someone let their kid just jump and run around. We have been coming to this location since 2019. I can honestly say that the staff members Debbie M. F & B Mngr. two thumbs up, and front desk clerk Sara have shown extraordinary hospitality. Always pleasant, smiling, polite and friendly. It's nice that all of the staff say hello as they pass by. The exterior and interior is very clean and maintained nicely. When we arrived in our room, I immediately brought to the attention of housekeeping that the microwave inside door needed cleaning. Without delay they promptly cleaned the entire microwave inside and out. My husband always enjoys the free fresh breakfast and said that the scrambled eggs were better than those flat folded eggs. The only reason I gave four stars is because the entire desk and TV cabinet showed obvious wear making the room look worn out, the toilet was too close to the sink and the paper roll holder was too far back. Also the bedside lamps didn't match making it look like an after thought. I suggest when staying to get a room on the east side, no noise at all. read more

The Good: Breakfast buffet in the mornings between 7-10am is included in your stay. Located just across the street from Discovery Kingdom. Hotel is clean, staff is friendly, has a pool. We had a King ADA room which was great for me because I'm currently in a wheelchair due to a broken ankle. Room has a mini refrigerator, microwave, desk/vanity, sofa, ADA automatic door, roll-in shower with bench, Tv with Dish cable, loveseat sofa, AC and window with blackout. Next to Dutch Bros. The Not So Good: Room 220 is noisy. It's near the service doors. So you are constantly hearing those doors open and close and carts rolling in and out which are the room attendants, maintenance staff etc. it's really noisy. The pillows are pretty bad. They give you 4 standard pillows but they are so thin. 2 pillows alone is not the size on one mediocre pillow. We had to fold them each in half and pile them. Also a little noisy from the highway traffic. In the shower the hotels free shower gel, shampoo/conditioner is mounted way to far and high from the bench if you are a disabled person using the bench. I had to get hop and hop a coupler steps forward to get to it. I was scared that I might slip and fall which is dangerous. If you're in a wheelchair turning into the bathroom from the room interior hallway is kind of hard. My husband had to lift up the wheelchair to reposition me. There were not enough waste baskets in the room and or the bathroom. One by the toilet only and in crutches or a wheel chair not so convenient if you're at the sink. I think the shower in general can be improved for disability access and safety. The water does spill out into the bathroom floor because it is a roll-in shower. And the secondary center of the bathroom drain does catch it but it's still a dangerous risk to slip and fall coming out of the shower if you're disable and or on crutches. They should provide thick bath mats and or probably have the shower drain further out with a slight slant in flooring to the drain so water doesn't escape to the center of the bathroom. Needs more space next to the shower bench for your own toiletries and stuff. Also, management seems to have allowed a car to block the only ADA/handicap accessible sidewalk from the parking lot to the hotel entrance, for a vehicle to charge. It was left charging. Overnight between the hours of 8pm (when we returned back to hotel) to 8 am (When we checked out and left) the next morning, requiring us to use the road access (see pic). I'd definitely return here next time I'm in the neighborhood. These are just some improvements I suggest them making especially for ADA customers. Overall good experience for a good price. read more

This hotel was off the freeway and you can see Discovery Kingdom. It was not at all nosy. Slept well during our 2 day stay. The room is modern and clean. Only thing was when we turned on the AC weird smell came out. Plenty of parking and they give you a parking pass. The staff were very welcoming. We were able to check-in early at noon without any extra charge. They had a swimming pool. Comes with a free breakfast. Breakfast area where they serve plenty of variety breakfast food it was good. This hotel is not only close to Discovery Kingdom but is less than 10mins away from Kaiser Hospital. And if you like Filipino food also close to Jollibee, Chow King and Red Ribbon. Every hotel, motel ...Holiday Inn ( Say What???) was booked solid... Thankfully the second to the last suite was available at the Hampton Inn. Pearl ...the gracious hostess at the front desk was very accommodating & could see my desire for this day to be over with...so she gave me a complimentary mini bottle of champagne and water. It certainly helped take the edge of my insanity. Even though this place is a little on the pricey side we were able to have all the nice amenities... like mini fridge, microwave, pool access and a excellent hot breakfast on Sunday. Shout out the two African American ladies in the kitchen (Debbie & Freida ) who were working hard for their money but making everyone's experience enjoyable. My friends got married at Hiddenbrooke Hills nearby so we decided to stay the night at Hampton Inn (~10 minutes away from the venue) so we wouldn't have to drive all the way back home in the East Bay. As a Hilton Honors member, I was able to check in the day before and choose my room via the app. Super simple to figure out and made arriving at the hotel much easier. I did still have to go to the front desk to get a physical key and a parking permit (though, parking is free). You'll need the physical key to get into the building after hours. If you're planning to go somewhere and come back after 10 pm, you won't be able to use the app to get into the lobby, it'll only work for your hotel room door. The room was great - no complaints. We got a large king bed that was pretty comfortable, plus our room had a small couch area and a spacious bathroom. Breakfast was pretty good for a free breakfast. It had all the usuals - cereal, toast, yogurt, fruits, etc. They also had different flavors for your waffles if you wanted to make one and different meat options (bacon, turkey sausage, etc). If you're looking for a quick breakfast, it's a good stop. Otherwise, if you're looking for more options, definitely consider going to brunch in the area. read more

We had a great stay here. We traveled with 4 kids to come to Six Flags. They let us check in early, our room was a good size, very clean facilities and friendly staff. We arrived around 11am and were supposed to have a 3pm check in. When we went into ask if we could just park in the parking lot they offered to let us check in early. All of the people we encountered there were super friendly. We highly recommend a stay here if you are visiting the area. Stayed at this hotel for a girls' napa + SF trip. We got a room for 4 (2 queen beds) for about $125, which was super affordable. The hotel itself was clean. It offered coffee, tea, water, etc. in the lobby area. There's also complimentary breakfast in the mornings. Our room was nice and spacious and the bathroom was huge. The free parking lot was large and gave us easy access to the hotel. The Regional Mgr is apparently looking to make changes at this location and definitely has a heavy lift; below are several suggestions from a longtime Hilton Honors member, which at this point in time does not hold much weight here at the Vallejo Hampton Inn. Whereas the staff is friendly, the management is uncompromising when it comes to satisfying the customer. I stayed there a week and on the last 3 days of my stay my daily rate escalated to more than double what I was originally paying, and I was not notified of the rate change until checkout. When I informed them of the lack of notification on their part, I was told that there was nothing they could do about it. My family and i checked in here recently (family of 6. ) Aug 10th, 2023, for one night, close to six flags. And I'm so surprised to see that it is way beyond my expectations. I really didn't expect much because of the reviews. But for an Inn this great to place to stay. The front desk people are nice. I believe they have 24/7 coffee and water station in the lobby, which is great. They also have small snacks and frozen food next to where you check in where you can buy if you still get hungry in the middle of the night. Our room is clean. We got 2 beds and also a pull out couch bed. This is great! They can accommodate a big family in one room without getting and paying extra for another room. Our room has a mini fridge, microwave, safe and common amenities, and you can even ask in the front desk if you forgot any toiletries that your suppose to bring. Wow! The hotel has a small gym, a pool and jacuzzi. They have a great breakfast in the morning, and the staff that serves and prepare food are very nice and friendly. They are quick to refill everything, It's amazing. It is great to see a fellow Filipinos there i can't complain. It's a great stay for us. The only downfall is the neighborhood, but otherwise, if you only plan to go to Six Flags, this is the place to stay. I will definitely recommend this hotel read more

The hotel overall was amazing the experience from the Management was ridiculous I understand I late check out policy. I just ask for 30 minute extension from 1230pm. Since I checked in so late, the charge was half or the room rate. I was able to speak to one of the agent and she said she would let it pass. But guess what the manager in the morning disagreed and charge us for half price for extra 30 minutes. I have been staying with Hilton and I used to work for hiltons this was never an incident. As a member and previous employee, I don't feel appreciated and there is no consideration shown. I just wish she could have make it a little better. read more

My room was amazing and clean. The front desk is really nice! The hot tub and pool were clean, my room was clean. I had a normal king room no bathtub so if you have kids who take baths maybe make sure you get that but for me, its fine lol. I think its worth the price vs getting a cheap room because you get free breakfast, hot tub/pool, gym, nice workers, and a clean room. And it is right by six flags if you are going there, you could literally walk there. read more

This is totally unconventional, but I'm going to do it away. I'm writing a review for a hotel that I've only been in for ONE hour! First off, I got here an hour before check in, and the staff just checked me in, didn't make a deal about it and were so friendly. But here's the BIGGIE about a proactive approach to good service. We were getting settled into our beautifully functional room. Within 30 minutes, the front desk called and ASKED if there was anything we needed and if our room was to our liking! Who. Does. That? Really? Making a commitment to solving problems before they even have a chance to pop up. That's a beautiful thing. That's great service. I've got another 4 days here, and if the first hour tells us anything about what we can expect... I'm a very happy camper! Kudos to you, Hampton Inn Vallejo! read more

The hotel is really well done, the exterior looks old, but everything inside has been renovated. Rooms are nice and renovated as well and running free breakfast from 6am to 10am is always a win. Unfortunately the heater when turned on smells like it's burning something and sets off the fire alarm. Not ideal when it happens at midnight. Tried to change rooms after the heater issue, the front desk was super nice and understanding, but was also new so it took a while to reach the manager and get the room changed. Ended up going from a king to a double queen which wasn't ideal, but better than dealing with a fire alarm at midnight. I'd recommend fixing the heater and not putting new employees on shift by themselves. read more

My stay here has been relatively cool till about an hour ago! Slick smart mouth rude security guard who's training at the front desk, hung up the phone on us. All I needed to do was swipe my card, and he acts like it's going to come out of his check. SMH his attitude is so different than the other staff. I recommend he return to his security post on deep nights, and work his way up to evening perimeter patrol I'm interested to see the outcome of my complaint and intend to keep my fellow yelpers posted! read more
