No towels in my bathroom at check-in. Uncleaned (un-vacuumed room) at checkin-in. Rotten breakfast food. Apathetic staff and management. Perfect recipe for a lousy hotel stay.

    Front check in...where is everyone?

Staying at this Hampton as my Marriott is booked solid. The hotel is okay but I have to say I am a little surprised. The staff must be wearing dual hats or super busy as I stood at the desk doe more than 5 and then sat in a chair and watched and no one came out. Three people walked in through front door and walked into hotel and still nothing. A little concerning in today's world and security. Also, I noticed pieces of the elevator are being held together with black duct tape! Yes...duct tape.

Very clean rooms and super friendly hotel staff! Breakfast was a step above the average breakfast with their selections.

They offered to give me some Marriott points to make up for it which is frankly ridiculous and does not change the fact that I've been bitten numerous times. This is incredibly unsanitary and dangerous. DO NOT STAY HERE FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY!

What a beautiful hotel with some staff that is just as lovely. Although the front desk told us the…read moreExecutive Lounge was open and we sadly found out it won't be open until Jan 2, but that's okay! We are here for 5 nights and couldn't be more please with the room! To start we are enjoying dinner at Brim House and Emma ( our waitress) is absolutely amazing!! The bartender, Tim, also made me a special and delicious drink!! Wow! So far so good!! Especially our King corner room with the river view. Day 2, Valet service is a real shit show. Pulled our car up and didn't brush snow off, had our check out wrong, didn't leave our vehicle running, didn't give us the fob so had to go back in. For $32 a night, so far not good. Not happy. Also after we left I received a call from the hotel, the valet had lost a bottle of prescription meds & wanted to know if we could search around the drivers seat for them. So we searched the vehicle & didn't see any meds( but seriously???). Also got 3 different answers on when the Executive Lounge is open from the front desk. Apparently it will be open for breakfast on Friday the 2nd and then closed the weekend. However, Emma our waitress from the night before was our waitress for breakfast and she was fabulous! Her attention to detail and wonder personality makes her great for customer facing service. She should really be the face of the hotel! Day 3- so the valet has lost our vehicle. After telling us it wasn't put in the system correctly & also not having the correct license plate number , they told us to go to the hotel restaurant & breakfast would be on them. That is nice but we have a place to be today as we are here for a friend's wedding and we need to go to the venue for pre wedding stuff. But here we are getting breakfast because we have no vehicle! But the nice part is again, Emma our waitress at the Brimhouse in hotel and also Holly who are both very nice and wonderful. All food pics on this are from Brimhouse in hotel in lobby level. Day 4, went to check out the Executive Lounge, this is the first day we were told it would be open for breakfast and our key didn't work, again. Had to go to front desk and get our key card retapped ( again). They didn't have breakfast at all. Just snacks and a small refrigerator with water and juice. Video shows the Executive Lounge. We also found out that the lounge is only open this morning and won't be open the rest of the weekend. So basically we thought it was nice that we were getting complimentary access and really only are able to enjoy it for one time. We are Diamond with Hilton so we wanted to really see how this hotel does Executive Lounge. Let's just say it leaves a lot to be desired. Hilton lounge would not be closed this long and especially over a holiday weekend. In order to get lounge access, outside of complimentary, one has to be a Titanium level. Honestly I would be so disappointed if I was Titanium and the lounge wasn't open and the " food" was what the video shows. We are supposed to have dinner at Brim house, 6:00pm for a party of 8 people. Stay tuned. Dinner was wonderful at Brim House and Emma was absolutely perfect. Also Thea at the bar was phenomenal! Day 5, wedding day. Bride and groom and in laws arrived last night and now Brim House is hooking me up with coffee and muffins for the bridal suite. Again Brin House has made all the other hotel crazy so worth everything. Once again Emma is taking care of us and I am very appreciative and grateful. Also connected to the hotel is Barry's Bagels and they make their bagels fresh so be sure to check them out. Day 6- checking out about 7:15 am and of course the valet charge was not removed from them losing our car, so that had to be corrected. Otherwise checkout was fine and as expected. A word of caution though to always make sure charges are correct before leaving any hotel as it can be time and challenging to take care of errors after you are home. I know this was a long review but I wanted to be thorough with so much that happened.

I'm glad this is the place we came upon. The hotel appears to be very recently remodeled. It's squeaky clean and our room was in great shape - clean, modern, no weird smells or stains or anything like that. The bed was very comfortable and we got a great night's sleep. There were several fluffy pillows on the bed as well. This hotel offers free wi-fi and the signal was actually really good in our room. They also offer breakfast downstairs between 6-10am which is a nice wide time frame to accommodate people who need to get on the road and people who prefer to sleep in a bit. The breakfast area had a lot of variety - cereals, fruits, and pastries (normal continental stuff), but also a hot buffet that included some ham and eggs (whites only or whole). They also had a fridge with assorted yogurts as well as hard boiled eggs. Oh and there was a waffle iron as well. The staff we interacted with were very pleasant and friendly. The night clerk was very helpful when we checked in - very personable and nice. Same goes with the clerk who checked us out. No complaints at all. I'd definitely stay here again if in the area.

I like that they are dog friendly (although it is +$25 per night). There is easy grass area around the parking lot to walk my dog. Several nearbyy places to eat. My rooms with 2 queen beds also had a microwave & fridge, side chair, dining table with 2 chairs, and desk with a chair, $95 after all the taxes (+ dog fee). In the morning, they had coffee/tea, cereal, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, and fruits. I had interactions with check in, check out, and housecleaning staff, and all were very nice. #ReviewsByRL

The room was large and comfortable. They have a restaurant on site called Assembly, where the food is very good. The hotel on the inside is pleasing to the eye, and it was comfortable in the lobby waiting for lyft/uber. My issues while staying there were the following: 1) The valet parking service quality was not consistently good. Valet service in the morning is slow and inefficient. When we got to the hotel on our first day, we waited 20 minutes until i walked into the hotel to find the valet guy on his phone. The night guys are on the ball. 2) The staff was overwhelmed the first two days we were there as there seemed to have been a wedding. Service suffered. 3) When i took a shower, no shampoo came out of the dispenser. They gave us a room with no shampoo. We went down there to get some. They gave us the bottle and told us they would refill it later, they never did. We also had to go once down to front desk to ask for more towels. Mostly a great experience but these three things certainly hurt our time there.

The Innkeeper, Tim, was very friendly and extremely knowledgable about the house, its restoration, and everything in-between. From its 13'7" ceilings to the giant 12' high doors to the hardwood floors it literally felt like stepping back in time. Most of the house had been renovated with a beautiful blend of new and old, giving it a neuveux riche feel. We stayed in the Grand Suite, which was larger than nearly any hotel suite we've ever been in. It had a comfy king size bed, a giant armoire, a small couch and a small table for intimate dining in your room. The attached bathroom was equally as impressive with a giant 6 foot tub and a large walk in shower with two shower heads. We had the house to ourselves and were made to feel at home by the Innkeeper Tim. He made us breakfast in the morning in the kitchen, which was newly renovated with beautiful stainless steel appliances and marble counter tops. Tim made us more food than we could eat (a four course breakfast!) and just put the cherry on the top of our visit. We can't wait to visit again. While the food, furnishings, and architecture were top notch, a few fundamental items of a hotel/B&B were quite poor: the staff, the heating, and the water pressure. First, the staff gave me an eerie, unpleasant feeling, overall. For example, I was pressured to leave the house while I was waiting for my ride, after I had checked out. I was just in the lobby for about 15 min. Next, during my stay in mid-December, the rooms were cold and the two electric heaters in the room, supplementing the radiators, did not do the trick. Finally, the water pressure in the shower was among the lowest I have ever experienced, ever. If you have ever seen that Seinfeld episode, it was like that. Thus, two stars.
