Our visit was okay. Property is older somewhat updated especially in the bathroom. Was clean but had a musty smell. Had to get with the front desk for some Lysol spray. Explanation was room hadn't been used for a few days. Bed was comfortable. Difficult to adjust room temp as the unit was too warm no matter how low I adjusted the thermostat. Bathroom was nice. Breakfast was excellent with the usual hot bar and ready made oatmeal. Parking was convenient. Elevator was creaky and slow. Nice people at front desk. read more

On 23 June 2026, found a roach in our 3rd floor bedroom. They offered to send someone to address it but I had already killed it. usually if there is one roach, there are others that you cannot see. They claimed that occasionally one comes from the outside and they address it immediately, but for bugs to be on a third floor, there is probably a bug problem. Also, a family member went to work in the lobby area around midnight or early in the morning and when she went to get back in the room, she could not get back in. she went to the front desk for help and could not find the attendant. Waited around 30 minutes and there was still no attendant. She finally was able to wake us up and we let her in. They offered to give us membership points back, but the points were insignificant to a very unpleasant stay. read more

First time in and only 1 night. This appears to be an older property that has gone through a re-fresh. However many things are not working or not working as expected. One elevator has a violent jolting. TV, is overly complicated to get to work. The hot tub wasn't working and surrounded with caution tape. Curtain rod was detached and sitting in the corner. However the most frustrating was the ice machines. 4th floor out of order, 3rd floor not working either. The 2nd floor machine was worked but it was being held together with twine?\ On the positive the staff seemed friendly and helpful. Another plus was the breakfast had a bit more variety than most Hamptons. read more

Rooms are old and worn. Our room had loose tile on the floor creating a tripping hazard. Carpet and doors are worn with holes. Sealant around the tub looks like it was done by a third grader. Commode barely fills up and I had to tell them how to replace the Fluidmaster gasket. Staff are friendly but often do not answer the phone for service. Staff says the phone does not often work. Breakfast was OK but nothing to write home about. I had to beg for an extra cup of coffee and still did not get it.I would give it a 1.5 out of a 5.0. Not what I expected as a Hilton Honors member. I expected a hotel that was up to date with all the amenities. Next time I'll go further down the road for a better hotel! YUK! read more

A typical Hampton Inn, Clean lobby, friendly desk clerk throw in a free bottle of water and snack. When I got to my room things weren't so typical. One bed was significantly lower than the other one. A bit of CSI Investigation, pulling back the bedspread, revealed that one bed didn't have a box spring. Further CSI Investigation, looking out the window, revealed a dumpster full of box springs and mattresses. read more

We stayed on 9/14/24 and woke up in the middle of the night covered with bed bug bites. I reported to the front desk staff who took pictures of the bites and contacted the GM. He assured me that we would receive a credit for the room rate and even gave me the amount of the credit. I checked by credit card a few days later and the credit was posted. HOWEVER, WHEN I RECEIVED MY NEXT BILL, I WAS CHARGED BACK THE FULL RATE. We have stayed at Hampton's for years and have never had a issue. WE WILL DEFINATELY NOT GO BACK TO THIS HOTEL. Our room had not been cleaned. Sheets were dirty, very visible blood stains, clearly had not been washed - had obviously not been changed. It took them an hour to get us a new room - and it was after midnight. She kept worrying about how it could have happened instead of making sure we were accommodated. They never once offered assistance in moving our belongings, which we had unpacked before we discovered the dirty sheets. In my colleagues' bathrooms, one shower drain wouldn't stay open and the other didn't have a plug at all. In our new room there was a large sticky stain in the carpet (which I didn't bother to report - by that point, it was clear they didn't care). At check-out I received the full bill. When I asked, the clerk said she's not authorized to give discounts, but I was free to contact the manager. After the state of the hotel and the manner of service, it seemed not worth the trouble. He was never on site, only his business card. I could not in good conscience recommend this hotel to anyone. I cannot imagine that Hilton is aware of the conditions in which their brand is represented. If they are, shame on them. read more

The appeared and smelled clean. We have four of us staying (was on the registration) but only 3 towels. Our room was out of Kleenex when we arrived and the mini fridge has something wrong w it...really really loud. The walls are kind of thin...could hear our neighbors conversation late into the night. They weren't being loud, just not great sound deadening between rooms. The floors are constructed of wood so you will hear the people walking overhead. Try to get a 4th floor room. Doors slam hard if you let them close on their own, which everyone on our floor does. Bathroom fan is hit or miss. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Room served the purpose. read more

I was so pleased with the accommodations here. The staff was so kind and accommodating (not that I ask for much). Unfortunately I had to get on the road before the hot breakfast was served: however, fresh brewed coffee, fruit, breakfast bars, etc. were available for those that had to hit the road early. There wasn't much around the hotel but that certainly wasn't the hotel's fault. My room was spacious, clean, and had a lot of natural light (I hate dark rooms, especially when traveling alone and spending my evenings in them). Definitely recommend if you need accommodations in that area. :) read more

I've stayed at this hotel before (pre-covid) and it was then mediocre at best but the service staff has always been very kind to me. I choose to stay here because of the location. However this time was different. The staff was still very kind but the cleanliness, or lack of, in the room was awful. We didn't check-in until after 8pm but did reserve the room earlier in the week. I didn't use the shower because there was a used washcloth hanging on the shower curtain rod. The carpet around the beds was not thoroughly vacuumed and the bathroom floor was also not cleaned completely. I went down at 9:30am to get a cup of decaf coffee but they were out. When I asked breakfast attendant, she told that there was light roast, dark roast and juice available. I kindly said no thank you I don't drink juices or caffeine. She said, "oh ok". Since they serve coffee all day I expected that she would offer to make another pot but that didn't happen. This is the last time that I'll stay here. I'll drive into Chattanooga from now on to stay at a nicer hotel from now on after this very disappointing stay. I'm only giving this spot 2-stars because the folks at the front desk are consistently nice and caring. read more

Clean hotel, and the bed was comfortable. Overall it seemed to be lacking a little attention. The Kleenex dispenser in the bathroom was left empty. The TV remote/TV didn't work. The shower head had very poor pressure. The breakfast was mediocre. read more

I've stayed at this hotel the past few years for an annual event memorial day weekend at Lake Winnie and we've always been extremely satisfied. Being in a group, we get our own spacious hospitality room and a special rate. As for the rooms, they are nice, clean, typical Hampton quality rooms. The coffee and breakfast is good. If I could give a zero star I would! My daughter and I checked in tonight, and our first room given to us the bathroom fan above the toilet was dripping on is, walls were dirt, chair had tons of stains, curtains had stains, room smelled terrible and was humid. We asked for a second room they gave us again walls dirty and stained, curtains dirty, chair stained worse then first room and smelled even worse. pulled the sheets down and tons of hair in the bed on the sheets in the pillows. They had a pool but it wasn't working. they stated they hadn't had a maintenance person for at least 2 weeks. I took My refund and came to the Tru Hilton in Ringold and it's amazing and very clean And 30.00 cheaper for 2 queen beds. the other dumpster Fire, don't waste your hard earned money on the place I'll never be stopping there again!!! read more

Our family stopped at this hotel last minute while on a road trip. The front desk receptionist was very nice, but I have to give this hotel one star because of its lack of cleanliness. When we entered our hotel room it reeked of cigarette smoke and bad perfume. It was so bad that we had to request another room. The front desk person gladly gave us a new room. But this time, we found crumbs and Cheerios on the floor. It really didn't make us feel too good about trusting that the room had been thoroughly cleaned. I'm really surprised to read some of the poor reviews regarding the cleanliness of this hotel. I've been staying at this hotel several times a year for about 4 years and never once had an issue with the cleanliness of the room or anything else for that matter. What I love most is that I see a lot of the same faces every year which, as a Diamond member with a LOT of hotel stays in different areas throughout each year, I've found to be rare. The staff are always so friendly and accommodating that I cannot imagine, on the off chance someone did have a less than satisfying stay, they wouldn't do everything within their power to make it right. This hotel has been one of the most consistent that I've had with everything being pleasant from check in to check out. My last stay here was 2/20/21 - 2/21/21 so not sure how my experience was so different than other guests but my room was clean and I had the same positive experience with staff as I always have at this location. read more

First the good things: large bathroom, clean breakfast area, clean hallways, generally clean room, comfortable bed, furniture is updated. When we checked in yesterday, it was quick. Everything was ready including keys ready. Front desk clerk friendly and asked if we'd like restaurant suggestions. Things I didn't like related to cleanliness : bathroom shower had some mold (see pictures) and the bottom needed a good scrubbing. Small stain on rug and most of the doors in the hallway had dirt marks along the bottom and frame. The sink was extremely slow to drain, close to being clogged. Why can't cleaning staff have a bottle of bleach and water to squirt on mold. Such an easy fix but seems to be a problem in so many hotels. I have allergies to mold and although a small amount doesn't cause me an issue mold quickly spreads. read more

A decent, affordable option with good proximity to Chattanooga. We were there for the 2014 solar eclipse so every room was booked during that weekend. The staff did a good job of cleaning and serving while at capacity, and the quality was typical for this chain. I've seen the breakfast offerings a tad better at other Hamptons, but theirs was good enough. The indoor pool was a nice feature that we specifically wanted for this trip. Our beds were comfortable and the showers were strong & hot. The room seating was minimal a bit uncomfortable. The WiFi was often slow and unstable and I ended up having to tether my laptop to my phone's data plan instead of using their service. On another night we successfully streamed Netflix to an iPad and only had two stalls for buffering. And speaking of which, they block you from connecting your iPad to the TV via HDMI for viewing, but I came prepared with a Bluetooth speaker and the iPad was big enough to get by. Despite being at full capacity, we never had any trouble finding parking on any of the nights. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We travel to Chattanooga multiple times each month and sometimes need the flexibility of a hotel when we don't want to impinge on (or suffer) the inlaws ;) and need the solitude of a hotel. I will definitely consider this one of the options for future trips. read more

Bed Bugs! I stayed here January 18th for one night. Let me first say that I am a loyal Hilton rewards member and travel weekly for business. I spend quite a bit of money on hotels which is what makes this review even more important. I stayed here because it was close to several of my meetings that day. It was little more than I wanted to pay especially for the service and gift of bed bugs I received. I am attaching pictures of the bed bug bites I received from this hotel. The kicker is when I called to let them know their immediate response was "are you sure?" I don't think you could have possibly gotten bed bugs from our hotel. According to the other reviewers my room wasn't the only one that super clean. I am a business professional, so going into meetings with bed bug bites on my back, face and head was not ideal. You would think as a hotel relying heavily on customers to fill their rooms that they would try to make sure to take care of the report of bed bugs as soon as possible. Nope, not the case. 3 days later (a week after my stay) I received the last and final response from the Hilton customer service. Yes, I reached out to both the hotel and customer service number 5 times including written correspondence. I have finally submitted a BBB complaint (which I recommend to anyone who has an unresolved issue) because I was basically getting tossed back and forth with the same automated response hoping I will just give up. It is important that health concerns such as these be taken seriously and that this type of customer service is unacceptable. The final response was the hotel said they don't have bed bugs. Ok, now I know they didn't check into it. I'm attaching pictures of my back the day after my stay. It's gross and disgusting. By the way, I also sent these pictures to Hilton who also didn't seem to care. Keep this in mind Hilton, what is a hotel without any guests? So stay here at your own risk. I know I don't believe they truly checked for bed bugs. After all, it is a process hotels do not want to go through to fix. Maybe it was just my room. So you can take Russian roulette odds and hopefully you will not get them. read more
