During our stay at the Hilton hotel, we encountered several issues. The first room was unclean and had a malfunctioning refrigerator, The hotel's room air conditioning created a loud noise that disrupted our sleep and was dripping water into the room. We informed Alicia. The staff prompting us to request another room. The second room had a non-functional safe, causing us to miss our tour. The front desk clerk, Alicia, stated that she was running the hotel alone and the manager, Joel, was unhelpful in addressing our concerns. This hotel is close enough to them Niagara State park that you could walk. Parking lot is available and it is free. That was first win. The hotel offers complimentary tea and coffee all day in the lobby. They also have a continental hot breakfast that is good. We had scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, Turkey sausage links, oatmeal with toppings, bagels/English muffins, muffins, make your own waffles, yogurt cups, and cereal. Along with bananas and drinks. Amble seating Hibbing the size of the hotel. Second win. They have an small indoor pool. This was a win for the kids. The room. We got a double Queen and was placed on the first floor. The room was clean and satisfactory. Included a mini fridge and a microwave and tv with adequate channels. There was a work desk and chair and a sitting chair and a moveable bench under a table. The beds were comfortable. I was just surprised they didn't have zippered mattress protectors on them. The bathroom was clean and stocked with Neutrogena products. The ceiling did show some signs of mold. The staff was nice and helpful. Overall price, location, and amenities, I'd definitely stay here. read more

First visit... (few years back), a 4 star visit. Room 403 on Nov 25th; clearly not cleaned, battery on floor, some change, food crumbs.... Maybe help explain the 'new' cockroach (s)? Disappointing to see 5 minutes into stay. Left a day earlier (free cancellation on Priceline). So one night instead of two; which was good; went to Rochester :) Cleaning staff left that room a MESS. No complaints. This is a older property but the rooms appear to have been renovated more frequently. The NY side of the falls may not be as active but this location has casinos, eateries, a 7-11 within walking distance. You can rent a bike. If you like to walk you are 2 miles from Amtrak and the Harriet Tubman museum as well as a scenic water way walk which is amazing in the fall. Also the Rainbow Bridge is a mile away and you can walk into Canada via customs. Back to the hotel: complimentary coffee and tea, breakfast is served, clean rooms and reasonable rates. I prefer Hilton to Marriott except the TRU brands have gotten bad. Lastly they do provide complimentary shower gel, lotion, shampoo and conditioner dispensers. The brand is called zero and it's actually good. read more

This hotel is located in a good area in comparison to the falls. It's not directly in the mix, but it is within walking distance. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They have a concierge on site who is extremely knowledgeable on the area. The pool was warm and had a lot of chlorine in it. Would have been ideal if there was ventilation as it was strong. The thermostat/air in the room was a little temperamental and we had problems getting it below 73 degrees the first night. The shower water pressure was a little low, and the drain was slow, but the water was warm and the shampoo/conditioner in the shower was an added bonus. Breakfast was pretty typical for a hotel. They could use more seating as it was really busy, and there weren't enough tables/chairs. Overall it was a good hotel and we would stay again. read more

Good place to stay for a quick trip. We needed a place to stay for the New Year's , everywhere rises the prices during the holidays but prices here seemed reasonable. The have a big parking lot with security cameras and near the entrance. We booked a suite for 2 nights and it was a really great stay. Is like 2 minutes drive to the Falls and like 12 minutes walk, which is great for doing a little bit of exercises. The room was very spacious and clean. The view was great , every night we saw the fireworks. They have a heated pool and a small gym, tip - usually is no one at the gym or pool so you will have those two areas for yourself. I used the gym everyday and the machines were new, clean towels and cleaning supplies everywhere. The town is near , beware that if you go during low season a lot of places are closed or closed early , just be careful if you like to eat late is better to buy some food and eat at the room. They offered free breakfast And they have vending machine in every floor. Two wonderful days in this Hotel, extremely recommended. read more

Unfortunately, the walls are paper thin and guests were very noisy. The common area on my floor was in very poor condition. The roof was leaking, so ceiling tiles were damaged and missing. Our room (310) smelled awful. It smelled like wet shoes and was overpowering when we walked in. They were sold out so could not switch our room. They gave us some febreeze to spray in the room. It didn't really help. The toilet didn't flush completely (took multiple flushes for anything). There was hair on the ground. Breakfast was fine. Woman at desk for activities was nice. read more

We absolutely loved our stay here. When we walked into the hotel, you could immediately smell the place was clean. The hallways to our room, the room itself, etc....all clean. The staff was amazing. We did not encounter one person who did not greet us with a smile, talk to my children, and go above and beyond with anything we asked. This goes from the people at the front desk, to the women doing the laundry. The breakfast was good, too, although it does get very busy down there...choose your time wisely! For being only rated a 3 star hotel, I was impressed with the amenities and level of customer service we received. I have received much less staying at much higher star-rated hotels. I would most certainly stay here again when we come through the area. read more

My room keys failed from day one. Had them replaced. Failed again. Had them replaced. Grandson unable to get back in room after walking dog. I was unable to get back into room multiple times after shopping, touring, going out to eat. Was given various reasons and told maintenance would be changing battery on door on my last day there. It never happened. Manager never returned my calls and was not in during my stay. The key issue ruined my time there. A very important part of the stay is being able to re-enter your room! I found this to be a okay property nothing at all special. I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the room especially considering the covid situation. I found hair in a couple of places in the room. Not a major issue as I travel with my own disinfectants and always spray a room myself. I found some of the front desk staff to be okay. It was nice to be able to walk to the falls in 10 minutes and save the parking fee at the park. It was nice to have to pool open with a reservation system What was lacking was the breakfast. I know with covid there are limits but the property should also know that. The breakfast in a bag was the worse ever offered. No water drink or protein. Just bagel cream cheese snack bar. There was no coffee available at check in I was told to use the machine in the room. I doubt if in the area I will use this location again. read more

Hampton Inns are now all pet friendly. Unfortunately that means those without pets are expected to put up with barking dogs. There was a dog in the room next to us and one across the hall. I let the desk know about the barking and they said they'd look into it. When the barking continued I contacted the desk again. Apparently the dogs had been left alone in the rooms. I was told the guests had been called and were on their way back. In the meantime, the barking continued. Eventually the barking ceased. (There was some more barking later and the next morning.) When I asked why couldn't dogs be put in an area away from those without pets I was told it's because the whole hotel has to be pet friendly. I will no longer be staying at Hamton Inns. read more

The hotel is very nice especially for the crappy area around it. It made me feel better that the cars were surrounded by gates. Extremely pricey basically $750 for two nights so if you aren't looking to spend something around that price range this isn't the place for you, but the free breakfast they offer has to be the best I've ever had! They go above and beyond for the breakfast and the staff at the front desk are very nice. I only give it four stars considering the high price, but other than that very nice and overall happy with it. read more

This Hampton Inn was very close to Niagara Falls. The hotel was clean and the staff here were friendly. I was in the area for work and stayed here. This was almost like any other Hampton Inn I've been to. I had to wait until 4pm before my room was ready so I just stayed in the dining area and worked while my room was being prepared. My room was on the fifth floor and was not bad from what I saw. It appeared clean and was roomy. The view outside wasn't great, but I wasn't spending my time looking out the window. The wifi was free and the signal was strong from my room. Breakfast started from 6am-10am and was good to get something in my stomach for the day. The parking lot was small in my opinion but I still managed to find parking in the evening. Overall, this hotel was not bad. read more

I don't know where to start. We booked a room for last October on our home computer. My wife was at the PC making the reservation. We had also downloaded the hilton app to confirm the reservation, check in, etc... Everything was fine. We got our confirmation for one room through both email and the app. The stay was OK. Fast forward to receiving the credit card statement in which we had charged the room. They had double charged us for TWO rooms. OK, simple fix right? We call up and they adamantly state we made two reservations and we were a no show. We showed up and have the receipts. They claim we made two reservations online. We only have the conformation for one room through THEIR own app and through email. When we checked in there was only one room for us according to their front desk. They will not remove the extra room charge. Our credit card company said they need to see the cancellation email for the room we never made a reservation for before giving us credit. How can we provide that when we never made the reservation for a second room? It was clearly a software issue on their end. Beware of this fraud. We are now in contact with the NYS attorney general's office. read more

We stayed with our children during this pandemic so we disinfected our room with Lysol although it seemed to be clean. Lysol was not provided in the room but we had our own. The hotel was walking distance to everything, including the park, so don't bother driving there. The only issue we had was the discourtesy of fellow travelers (slamming doors, children running around halls, loud talking (basically shouting) in halls late at night). While we could have complained to hotel staff, we didn't, and don't hold it against them! Definitely recommend this Hilton! read more

Hotel from hell is what I call it. Your room comes with ear plugs, and it's not a nice gift. Although you'd need no ears at all to get a good night sleep. We heard every step the up stairs guest made. The walls and ceiling are Air thin. The front desk clerk said "The walls are paper thin, and I can hear everything going on above me". She lied! The walls are air thin, you should be able to hear peoples thoughts. The stay wasn't worth paying 0 dollars, and we paid 100 per night. I love Yelp, and this is my first review. I had to warn folks traveling because this is Evil. I have to drive 6 hours home with no sleep and no vacation during my vacation. read more

Wonderful customer service from the moment you walk in. Room was clean and comfortable, but clincher here is LOCATION ...approx a mile from Niagara viewing deck. A short 5 min walk to Seneca Casino plus a secure parking area.Breakfast was the usual good Hampton Inn fare: waffles, cereal, fresh fruit, eggs (scrambled and hardboiled). I appreciated the complimentary razor and 24 hr beverage area (coffee, tea, hot chocolate). TGIFridays and Starbucks are also a 5 min walk away. Great job Hampton Inn! read more

Not a bad hotel for convenience to the falls. We were able to walk to it in under 10 minutes. Nice that they offer a complimentary breakfast however it was extremely crowded where at times challenging to get seat. Also the staff was great however very challenging for them to keep up with refilling the breakfast. They were always out of something milk, eggs, etc... and the waffle maker was very popular but you could easily wait 20 minutes to make a waffle. But hey it's complimentary so still a nice perk. Room was nice and clean so no complaints there. The pool was clean as well but not heated so that was disappointing. read more

There are some real dives and sketchy hotels in Niagara Falls on the US side. We had made reservations elsewhere, but as soon as we saw the original place we got on our phones looking for something "safer". Hampton Inn was able to get us a room right away - with early check in even! Their "concierge"/tour lady had EXCELLENT recommendations - the tiny Italian restaurant down the street was to die for, and the Italian bakery she recommended was just perfect. Not sure we will plan time on the US side of the falls again, but if we do I would stay at this hotel. read more

Booked a room with a hot tub, received a room without a hot tub. The hotel blamed the issue on Expedia, and told us we'd have to call Expedia if we were unhappy. Would not have even gotten a room here if we knew this was the case. While the room is nice and the hotel seems fine, unfortunately I have trouble putting my faith in a business that so callously writes off issues as not their fault and offers no resolution on their end. read more
