Great location, awesome pool and cabana, wonderful service. There are restaurants and bars within walking distance and the views are beautiful.

Nice and clean Hilton property. About 3 years old, it looks very well kept. The rooms are ample and they come with prep area with sink and microwave. The grounds are very green. There's a little market if you need to get any last minute grocery items. The breakfast buffet is typical Hampton Inn. From 6-10 am. Free parking is a plus. Located about 1 hour from Key West. About 30 min from Isla Morada. Nice restaurants close by, as well as a Dollar Tree, Winn Dixie and Publix.

I've been staying at this hotel for almost 6 months for work. Every week I come they put me in different rooms. Every time I check in the rooms are always half cleaned. Hair all over the bathroom floors and showers. I checked in the one week and they had wet mold on the ceiling. The front desk guy gave me an issue when I asked to have my room changed. I had the cleaning people come to my room to clean again and still hair everywhere. The breakfast is the best free breakfast in the keys but other than that the rooms are always dirty.make sure to bring a broom and mop when you stay over.i plus r recommend staying here after asking for a room changed they couldn't help me.

I am a Diamond member with Hilton, so needless to say I stay with them frequently, so this review keep that in mind. The good: location is great - Marathon is in the middle and really has a lot of good restaurants and activities. This location has free laundry, which is really nice. Also the fact that they have balconies/patios is nice. If you travel with your dogs the bottom level would be ideal. They even have doggy doo stations. Our room was clean. The lobby and main building is very modern and nice, with a great view across the street. You can't hear US 1 traffic at all and the guests in general seem to be quiet (older couples or younger stoners, not a lot of kids) The average: this is your normal Hampton breakfast. Well, actually the oatmeal is usually not as soupy and the juices have what they are labeled as having, but in general for all the reviews in awe of the breakfast- it's standard. You can hear TV, voices and sneezes from the next room. And hallway doors bang shut very loudly. The bad: the bathroom and entryway are LED lights and bright. The bedroom/couch/desk has 3 small dim lamps. The closet is very small. The fridge has no tiny freezer (we brought reusable ice packs that were useless since we had no freezer). The shower door was not level (would slide open and closed at the bottom with a 2" gap at the top) so the floor would get wet when you shower. The A/C doesn't have the ability to leave the fan on. So the room is either freezing while the A/C is running or stuffy and warm. The housekeeping only comes on request, yet they have an envelope for you to leave a tip for them! They came one time when we didn't request and emptied the trash and left clean towels, which was great, but we were down to 10 squares of toilet paper but they didn't leave any. The cupboard door under the kitchenette sink needs repair. Also the hot tub was warm (not hot) with a mound of sand (from where I gave no idea since there is not a beach here) at the bottom. The bartender was only there 2/5 days he was supposed to be there. The hotel is 100% smoke free but apparently not toke free because there were people smoking weed in several rooms with their doors open as well as outside on their patio. They have very thin, small and rough pool towels that you can exchange for clean/dry ones at the front desk. They charge you $25 each if you steal them (which you would only use for washing the car). Overall it's ok - I would stay here again and recommend it, but probably not as nice as what you'd expect from a Hampton for the price

The unfortunate thing is that this might be the cheapest Hilton property in the Keys and you may be tempted to stay. I stayed here while on business and I must say that it isn't convenient to anywhere that a vacationer would want to go. The price certainly doesn't reflect that often over $300 per night. Secondly you notice the rust on the metal legs of the desks and furniture which maybe because of a flood? Lastly they have an ant problem. Tiny little ants that loved to bite my legs. For $300 a night you'd think they could afford a pest control company to come around and spray? I get that it's Florida and you'd get bugs; but it's noticeable especially with the hornet nest above my patio door. On the flip side the pool are and breakfast area are very nice. I did enjoy a few nights after work sitting in the hot tub. It's also a quite hotel without many party's which is rare in the keys.

    Balcony and beautiful sunset views

This hotel is incredibly comfortable, from the bedroom to the bathroom. I personally love to have a balcony when I stay a night away from home, and wow this did not disappoint. The sunset views are stunning from here and you're within walking distance from a few restaurants so you can really soak up the Keys. The hospitality from the staff is so comforting, they make it feel like a home away from home and get you anything you need to have a nice stay. The pool is a bit small but there generally aren't too many people around so it's just right. The hot tub is really nice in the afternoon as the pool closes at 10 pm. Their bar serves food from 12-7 pm, we ordered a personal cheese pizza ($8) which was tasty and good portion for one person, and the spinach artichoke dip (I will always order this if it's on the menu...) and its good but I don't recommend as much. They have breakfast in the morning with a great spread. The only overall complaint I have is that our room's air conditioning made a strange sound every few seconds but it's not too big of an issue. Great hotel!

This place is brand new at only 2 months old, and let me tell you...what a property! Rates at this Hampton are what you'd find elsewhere, coming in at around $225.00 a night, and what a beautiful place they did with this property; it's so expansive from the front desk, to the Tiki bar that offers alcohol and a nice Happy Hour too! Now that's a plus in my eyes. Another great amenity is that they offer free laundry and dryers too! Just buy or bring your own detergent and you're golden; I've never paid attention of other Hamptons offer this but this place does and what a nice add. Breakfast was very good on the first day with potatoes, ham and scrambled eggs; the next day it was an egg/cheese omelette and sliced kielbasa sausage. They also had the other usual cereal, bagel and homemade waffles. Beds were Hampton excellence and it made the night's sleep so comfortable that I can't wait to visit this property again when in the area. Lastly, I checked out Sunday but had a full day of activities that morning to afternoon; I called the front desk and spoke with "Vi" and asked her if it was possible to get a shower on the way back to Miami since I may have needed it, and she said it was possible, but to stop in to see her. We didn't need it after all, but just the kind gesture of it being there in case I needed it makes me want to come back here even more; this place exemplifies what all Hampton Inns need to operate like.

I have been here 4 days, I have at least 4 more days and may extend 4 more! I can not comment on the negative reviews here as I wasn't there.. BUT, I will tell you , I have walked, hung out, spent time and looked at every part of this property that I have access to and it is great!!! The staff is unbelievable!! Friendly, helpful, funny.. they want you to have a good time and enjoy your stay.. and I am!! I have talked to front desk staff, housekeeping, breakfast workers, the dudes cutting the grass.. ohh and the GM! These are regular folks, they care.. My room, a single room with a queen size bed has a large flat screen tv, work station with Ethernet plug as well as USB and 110V plugs.. I have a small sink and counter area, a mid size fridge, a lot of cabinet space, microwave, a safe that is NO extra charge, a fold out couch that is great to sit one... I haven't slept on it . But I might.. very comfortable to sit... A couple stow away ottomans, updated bathroom, huge shower stall, I have a small porch area with 2 chairs and a small table. Water in shower is hot, great pressure , room was clean, carpeted by bed and couch area, some type of tile situation in walkway and bathroom. My room was clean, smelled clean and the AC will freeze you out! I love it! There is a small dock on the water with a few chairs and a table. I sit there have a few beers, watch the boats , enjoy the sun, watch the iguanas.. and relax. There is a very nice pool area with a tiki bar that isn't open at the moment, but it's 15 steps from my room , I can get a beer there. Ohh, the breakfast area is feeling huge!! Breakfast was scrabbled eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes. There is oatmeal, breads, bagels , dry cereal, yogurt... You get it... It's nice.. friendly staff, open on time.. There is an office /business center... I see computers honestly not sure what else. I am on vacation man I am not interested in that, but it's there.. Community bathrooms near front desk are ridiculous!! Wicked huge, spotless.. very very nice Dude.. you are in Marathon Key, this place is empty, I am in paradise. There is a great seafood restaurant across the street, even I can walk there... It's freakin great! On the water, fresh seafood, decent happy hour... There is a boat launch across the street. A Winn Dixie and a Publix 3.8mi south of hotel. Gas station maybe 1000' south of hotel. What more do you need? Check my profile, I am not a shill for Hampton Inn... I travel, I see the good and the bad all over the country... These folks here take care of business! I am coming back, if you see.me here... I will even buy you a beer. Be safe, stay here and have fun dammit!! Steve

Our room and the property overall were very nice, but I have to say it appears our room's wood floors hadn't been cleaned very well because our white socks would get very dirty immediately upon walking on them. Couple of pools with water views; one by each building. Between the buildings are a restaurant, some boat docks, and a shop with guest services like boating, snorkeling, diving, etc. (all additional costs of course). The restaurant on the property was really good, as was the restaurant directly across the highway from the hotel, so you've got options if you don't want to drive or want to have some adult beverages. Complementary breakfast in the front building, but it can be very busy and hard to get a table sometimes. $20 per day for parking is a bit ridiculous to me; land in Marathon isn't at a premium like in Key West. Overall a very nice hotel at reasonable rates for the area. Would definitely stay here again.

We left the hotel at 3am and had to drive to another hotel because of the issues the hydrogen sulfide gas was causing. Great Stay With Some Service & Logistics Gaps…read more Overall, we had a genuinely great experience as first-time visitors traveling without kids but with service animals. The property shines in many areas, especially if you're looking for a relaxing resort atmosphere with beautiful water views, pet-friendly accommodations, and a fun, laid-back vibe. That said, there were a few frustrating misses that held this back from being a 5-star stay. THE GOOD * Beautiful beach & lagoon area - Easily one of the highlights of the property. Relaxing, scenic, and fun overall. * Salt + Ash is a must - Exceptional food and one of the best dining experiences on property. The wine selection was top-notch and the beef tenderloin was outstanding. Easily our favorite restaurant. * Incredible staff throughout the resort - Bell staff, valet, oceanfront servers, housekeeping crew, and pool staff were consistently kind, personable, and welcoming. * Staff who go above and beyond - Huge shoutout to Joshua, who helped us secure chairs near the adult pool, and Danielle, who took time to chat, swap stories, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Hospitality like that sticks with you. * Captain's Suite is worth the upgrade - Strongly recommend spending the extra money if budget allows. The added space made the trip: dining area, living room, fridge, two toilets, large balcony, and beautiful water views overlooking the pool and lagoon. It elevated the experience tremendously. * Extremely pet & service animal friendly - This place deserves serious praise here. Few resorts feel this comfortable and accommodating for travelers with animals. Staff were respectful, welcoming, and there were no awkward restrictions or friction. If you travel with pets or service animals, this property stands out. * Tiki Grill - Great atmosphere for drinks and relaxing. Perfect for unwinding poolside. * 20% off dining on property helped offset costs - Appreciated perk considering resort pricing. THE NOT-SO-GOOD * Front desk communication & housekeeping logistics need work - This was our biggest frustration. We stayed in a Captain's Suite and requested both a room cleaning and balcony cleaning (bird droppings had accumulated on the balcony) around 10 AM. The front desk wrote down our room number and assured us it would be taken care of. When we returned around 3:30 PM, neither had been done. By after 4:30 PM, the room had finally been cleaned, but the balcony still hadn't been addressed. When you pay extra for a premium room and oceanfront balcony experience, this feels disappointing. There also seems to be a mild pigeon issue, and balcony maintenance should really be part of a regular checklist. Some simple bird deterrents or more proactive cleaning would go a long way. * Concierge/text support didn't materialize - We were told we'd receive a concierge-style welcome text shortly after check-in for support/questions. Unfortunately, we never received it. To make matters worse, the room phones didn't work, meaning concerns had to be addressed in person while waiting in the front desk line. * Food quality was inconsistent - Salt + Ash was phenomenal, but not every dining experience matched that standard. Tiki Grill: Great drinks and atmosphere, but the food was forgettable, under-seasoned, and not something we'd order again. Fine in a pinch. Angler & Ale: Beautiful waterfront views and exceptional staff, but the food leaned heavily fried and felt more like average bar food than resort dining. Fish and chips were disappointing. Oddly enough, the banana split ended up redeeming the meal. * Convenience store prices were shocking - Convenient? Yes. Affordable? Not even close. A few sodas and snacks escalated to $60+ surprisingly fast. I expected a slightly easier option versus restaurant pricing, but the markup felt extreme. * Parking costs add up - Valet runs about $40/day and self-parking is roughly half, but expect around a 10-minute walk with luggage, making valet feel almost mandatory. FINAL THOUGHTS Despite some communication breakdowns and uneven food experiences, we truly enjoyed our stay. The Captain's Suite, peaceful balcony views, fire pit at night, lagoon, beach access, pickleball, and pet-friendly atmosphere made for memorable moments. My advice: upgrade to the Captain's Suite, eat at Salt + Ash (seriously, get the beef tenderloin), enjoy the tiki drinks, walk the grounds, soak in the sun, and be selective about food choices elsewhere. Use the convenience store sparingly. Fix the housekeeping/communication gaps, improve how guests can raise concerns without standing in line, and clean those balconies consistently--and this place could easily become a 5-star destination.

June 11 - Arrival, Villa 7083 Upon entering our original…read morevilla, it was immediately obvious that the unit had not been properly cleaned or maintained. Among the issues we encountered: Cockroaches running on the walls Large dark brown stains throughout the carpets, including significant stains in the master bedroom and on the staircase Cracked tile on the flooring and carpet that clearly hadn't been vacuumed Dirty men's socks left behind in the closet of one of the bedrooms A strong mildew odor throughout the villa Water-damaged furniture in the master bedroom that appeared to be rotting from prolonged moisture exposure. I immediately reported the issues to the front desk. What was equally disappointing was the response. The manager on duty never came out to speak with me personally. Instead, the front desk employee repeatedly walked to the back to consult with management and returned to tell me there was nothing that could be done because the resort was sold out. As a result, my family was forced to spend the night in a villa that should never have been assigned to guests in the first place. I have photographs and video documenting every issue described above. June 12 - Second Villa, Same Problems 7086 The next day, we moved four adults, two children, luggage, and approximately $450 worth of groceries into Villa 7086. Shortly after settling in, we discovered the air conditioning was not functioning properly. Maintenance responded and measured the villa at 78 degrees. The temperature later climbed to 84 degrees. We were told management would be notified and the issue addressed. That never happened. On top of that my son had bugs crawling all over his bed. Comes to find out they were termites! Not, one or two but dozens - in the pillow cases, sheets, etc. The only reason this issue ultimately received attention was because later that day the Director of Engineering Danielle happened to ask how our stay was going while I was in the gift shop. Once she heard what had occurred, she immediately stepped in and began working to resolve the situation. Danielle deserves recognition because she was one of the ONLY employees during our stay who demonstrated urgency, professionalism, and a genuine concern for guest satisfaction. Later that day, Danielle arranged for us to move yet again--this time into two connecting rooms in the main hotel while also securing a third room for my brother and his girlfriend. When I asked what we should do with the groceries and supplies, she advised us to leave them in the villa and stated that the villa would be taken out of service until the air conditioning could be repaired. At that point, we had spent a significant portion of our vacation packing, unpacking, relocating belongings, coordinating food storage, and dealing with issues. June 13 - More Service Failures The next morning I took my daughter to breakfast at the café. We sat for approximately 10-15 minutes while multiple employees stood nearby talking among themselves. No one greeted us. No one acknowledged us. No one offered menus. No one checked on us. Employees walked by our table repeatedly and even cleared nearby tables while completely ignoring us. Eventually, I got up and left. A female staff member who was cleaning a nearby table noticed me leaving and hurried over to ask me to stay, but by that point we had already waited far too long without any service. I am confident this entire interaction would be visible on the café's surveillance footage. The café provided some of the worst service we experienced during our stay. The staff the works there barely speaks English and had zero sense of urgency to serve guests. Additional Concerns I also learned that my brother was repeatedly approached by staff members in the room that Danielle had assigned to him and questioned about him, receiving knocks on his door multiple days during the trip even when the Do Not Disturb sign was displayed. While I understand security procedures, repeatedly questioning a registered guest made him feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. What was especially troubling was that a male staff member knocked on his door and asked, "Are you supposed to even be in this room?" That type of interaction is completely inappropriate. Treating a paying guest. Treating a paying guest as though they don't belong there are accusing them of basically being a squatter was embarrassing, disrespectful, and is 100% classified as harassment vs. hospitality. Perhaps the most disappointing part of this experience is that Danielle informed me that the GM Bob L. would be contacting me directly to set up a in person meeting regarding the issues we experienced. When that didn't happen she said he would call me- he never did. When that didn't happen I emailed him 3x and never got a response.

Tranquility Bay Beachfront Resort - Sat in Adirondack chairs and sipped our drinks while we watched the sun set. Do we really have to go home at all?

Gorgeous scenery, sunsets…read more Accommodations were lovely. Had a couple issues with room, staff resolved early on and quickly, but felt like for the insane $ we paid, have never done this kind of $ before, coffee maker should work, filtered water should work, things should not be left in shower.... We had room next to turtle rehab, could hear them talking on microphone every day, not horrible but ya know... seemed odd the left of our room outside was storage for house repairs, not a pretty view to the left but overall, nice experience, overpriced for sure, but it's the keys and vacation. Lots to do which was great! Key skis were great too, pools amazing! Weather was a mix. There were a couple days although the wk after Labor Day, weather was amazing, felt like for a wkend when it was busier, tiki bar should have been open earlier and longer, plenty of business. We were always looking for its staff. Bar tending staff wasn't impressive, didn't act like they remembered us, just kind of guys in 30's, good drinks but... eh Will prob be back.
