Stayed here for my boyfriends friends wedding that was being held 8 minutes down the road. This was very convenient for us. They have free breakfasts in the morning, which was very helpful for us. There is plenty of parking in front and behind the hotel, just know that late at night, some of that front row parking will be gone. Certain front row parking is reserved for diamond members, so be aware of that. Front desk personnel are very nice and helpful. Will stay again if we are around this area. read more

September 2020 - COVID Review: My (now) husband and I stayed here with our wedding party to be close to our church and to have a getting ready space before our micro-ceremony. We worked with Nancy D. to book our original hotel block, but with having to postpone our reception to next year, we were able to scale down our number of rooms easily. All of the hotel staff were really nice and accommodating during our entire stay. The rooms were fairly spacious. The free breakfast during covid meant the staff would serve you from the line instead of you serving yourself. We will be staying here again next year for our postponed wedding reception nearby! read more

Clean and quiet, this Hampton is in good condition and the bed was comfortable for the one night I spent here, arriving late in the evening and then leaving early in the morning. As such, I didn't partake in their breakfast and did not investigate the fitness center or the business center. The room was quiet all night. In the morning, some running water noises from neighboring bath tubs but nothing else. Amazingly, no slamming doors. I did have to ask for my bottled water - the young lady who checked me in forgot to give them to me and I went back downstairs to get them. read more

Well...smh...rain started pouring in thru the window, so upon calling front desk they told me I needed to bring everything downstairs and I said no I'm not doing that just to pack up bring everything downstairs and back up again. 2 employees show up at my door, I said can u go get a cart so I don't have to bring my things downstairs and back up...she said you can (red haired employee and another staff employee), so two Hampton Inn employees waited outside my door while I went downstairs to get a cart and they continued waiting until I packed...great customer service, never staying at this hotel again...not recommended read more

I stayed here while in the DC area for work. I usually stay at Hampton Hotels when I travel. As a HHonors member they give you two bottles of water when you check in. They also have refrigerators and microwaves in every room and a decent complimentary breakfast. This particular one has an outdoor pool (open Memorial Day through Labor Day) and surprisingly an accommodating gym with free weights and a bench. For some reason I couldn't book a room with a king size bed, which is what I prefer, so I had to go with a queen bed. Oddly enough, while booking online it was cheaper to get a room with two beds as opposed to one. Hey whatever. The room was clean the bathroom was clean and the AC worked well. I had a comfortable night's sleep and a hot shower in the morning. A little pricey but it is the DC metropolitan area, so everything is pricey. read more

Checked in Friday night, 5/27/2022. Saturday morning my phone going off 3am saying my acct is overdrawn. They charged my card 3x for over $1100 extra. Front desk said the girl didn't know what she was doing, it was credited, should see in 24 hrs. 7 days later still unresolved, it's still sitting in pending. GM Jennifer Decker says that's normal and I need to contact my bank. WTH? I travel a LOT, and I never heard or experienced such nonsense. She was horrible, ruined my family vacation and no one showed any sympathy or remorse. Called corporate, they were just as bad. Make sure you use a credit card and not a bank card, that's where they tie your money up. INCOMPETENT! The room was clean, the breakfast ok, and it was in a good area, but I WILL NEVER GO TO ANOTHER HAMPTON INN AGAIN! read more

Beware! Hotel staff stole from me and hotel owner refuses to replace what was stolen. I stayed at the Hampton Inn on June 26-29, 2019 and extended my stay by a day until June 30, 2019. Upon checking out I noticed that my $300 Sony noise cancelling headphones were missing. I immediately reported the loss to the front desk. After multiple phone calls to the head of housekeeping and the assistant general manager over the course of a month I was told that the general manager had relayed my situation to the owner of the hotel but the owner rejected my claim to replace the headphones. Although the assistant general manager has been very sympathetic to me, the hotel owner prefers to call patrons liars when hotel staff walk off with guest's property. I was due to return to Hampton Inn the following week and stay for 10-days, but in-lieu of my missing property I cancelled my stay at the Hampton Inn and instead I stayed next door at the Residence Inn. I've subsequently returned to stay at the Residence Inn on two more occasions without issue. I travel frequently to Manassas and have stayed at many of the local hotels. I've never had any issues with my belongings being stolen at La Quinta, Courtyard, Wyndham, Comfort Suites, or the Residence Inn. I think I've been very patient with the hotel management and owner by allowing them 10-weeks to rectify the situation, but to no avail. Stay anywhere else in town before you decide to stay here. read more

This stay was one of our finest. Caring checking staff, great accommodations, to die for breakfast. We drive 650 miles from Toronto with twins (5 months), a four year old an grandpa and daughter. We were booked four days in a comfort inn which was condemned due to an infrastructure issue. When we arrived to find that out, they basically said we were on our own, no recommendations and the front desk "kid" was a jerk. Another Hampton... man those Hilton Points are getting pretty high. This place was memorable, either it was just remodeled or had a huge face lift. It had the standard Hampton feel with the free wi-fi and the free breakfast in the morning. "The Good" - Standard Hampton Inn set up with new(er) furniture / fixtures in the public areas. - Polite and friendly staff. - The free breakfast was great, self serve but there were hot dishes buffet style. - Bagged snack breakfast for when you need to leave in a hurry or over slept. - I have been known to get a cookie, but they do vanish fast... "The Meh" - Nothing really meh to comment on. "The Bad" - Nothing really bad to comment on. read more

When I first got here, I was raving about my stay there: breakfast is included; the rooms were clean; the breakfast staff is very nice; the receptionist was accommodating. I stayed for three days. Prior to that, I'd stayed at The Willard Intercontinental Hotel in DC two days before and the Marriot in College Park, MD. Forget fancy & ritzy: I thought the Hampton Inn was the best because they had a decent breakfast included. The housekeeping staff threw and left my sponge on the board under the sink the second day. I was very offended. I reported this to the front desk and they notified housekeeping. The next time I saw the housekeeper, she apologized, which was very sweet. She said she had meant to move it back to the bath but had forgotten. That was understandable. Unfortunately, I woke up with insect bites every morning during my stay. I knew it had to be from the bed since these itchy bumps were new every morning and only in the morning. I shower twice a day and change my clothes twice a day. The second day, I checked for bedbugs and didn't see any. My last day there, I found the culprit -- an unknown insect that looked like a beetle. It was in my bed for three days! I freaked out! I was so scared. I actually thought it was a bedbug. I've had a very bad experience with bedbugs from another (supposed to be fancy) hotel before. I called the front desk and they sent some staff to inspect for bed bugs. They are the ones who told me it was probably a beetle. So far so good... Until out of no where, one of those three people had the audacity to suggest that I could have brought it into the room! When I told the hotel manager, she said she'd speak to her staff. When I asked how they would prevent it from happening to someone else, she said they have rooms sprayed every 3 months (obviously need to do it more) and would ask those who sprayed it to look into the room in two weeks when they came for their next round. She also said it was like my house -- insects can come in any kind of way -- through the windows, vents, etc. They handled customer service poorly and did not seem to care at all that I was scared that I could be carrying unknown insects/disease back to home from their hotel. I'm a physician: this is now epidemics start. They also did not seem to understand that this could happen to another client soon! Until this fiasco, I was going to switch my hotel stay in the upcoming weeks to a Hampton Inn. Now, I won't. read more

I will preface this with I am a long time Hilton brand (of which Hampton Inn is part of) and stay at one nearly every week for work; as such, I am a Hilton Diamond member and usually treated unusually well. My experience here was awful. I arrived, to find they had me booked for a king sized smoking room, which was absolutely wrong. After waiting around for over a hour, I was given a king sized non-smoking room and a roll away bed...this after dealing with the obnoxious and saracastic front desk clerk. When I got to the room, it was dirty and smelled bad--and there wasn't even a shower curtain! Terrible experience--zero stars if I could. read more

First and more importantly, the ladies at reception deserve a medal! When I arrived, one of them was being chewed out by someone who was either coming or going. It didn't take me long to figure out who the problem was -- yet these ladies remained cool and calm and polite throughout the impossible demands being made by this person. KUDOS! I will echo the remarks of others before me -- the hotel was clean and neat throughout. We, too, wanted a King, which wasn't available and the price was considerably more than we were accustomed to for a HI anywhere. Maybe I will get more points for spending more? :-) read more

Has an older feel, but it works. Location is convenient. Had some interference on the TV and there are not enough electric outlets for the modern business traveler. Whenever I'm in the Manassas/Gainesville area for work I like to book at this Hampton Inn. My family and I travel here often since we've opened two businesses in the area. We usually rotate between the different hotels in the area depending on the room rates. Whenever it's financially affordable, I like to choose Hampton Inn. The front desk receptionists are always very helpful and friendly. The breakfast staff is very friendly as well. They also have some of the best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. And their robust coffee flavor is a must to get me started for the day. The biggest reason I like to stay here is because of the warm Otis Spunkmeyer cookies they provide every evening. I feel like a big kid when I go to the lobby and they have warm cookies and ice cold milk. It's like being at my grandma's house again, except I'm in a hotel... It's so cheesy, but that's exactly how it makes me feel. I've always enjoyed my stays at this location. I wish we could find the right rate everytime we're in the area so that we could stay here everytime. read more

The morning breakfast was excellent thanks to Alicia and Blanca for taking great care of our family on a busy Sunday morning! We were trying to pack/checkout/eat all at once and the front desk receptionist Ashley made sure she was friendly to us with suggestions on making our transactions move along quickly. We were in adjoining rooms with our family which was excellent. The beds and rooms were clean and nicely done with several new finishing. I'd say it was immaculate, especially the bathrooms which are usually my immediate area to criticize. This location has the worst customer service I have ever experienced! Two days away from my wedding I find out that policies have changed and I was unable to use their meeting room. No courtesy call, no attempt to make it right, nothing. All I got was " It wasn't in your contract so too bad." Lisa Bannwart blatantly offered services she could not provide and never even bothered to give me a heads up. Jennifer Decker was just as blase with the same "too bad for you" attitude. I was a guest at the Hampton Inn Manasas for a funeral. We had many family members staying. We also had a room for the repass. So our whole day was spent in the hotel. Guest services was very friendly and and helpful. Though they are going through renovation we had no problems at all. I must say the bed was amazing, which does not happen often when traveling. This is probably our last trip this way but will consider The Hampton in again in the future. read more

We booked a wedding block for our out of towners for this past June. I worked with Nancy D to book the room block and she was delightful to work with.Their customer service was second to none. Our guests were impressed with how friendly and welcoming the staff were. The hotel was spotless . The breakfast was amazing,best we've ever had at a hotel ! The pool was great for entertaining the kids. We got a complementary room for the happy couple and it was lovely with its own cute sitting room . If Hilton properties are your first choice when traveling (and they have been mine for many years), you may find this interesting. I am a Diamond Member of the Hilton Honors program and recently stayed at the Hampton Inn-Manassas location where I was appalled at the conditions I encountered and the treatment I received. I had booked a 21-day stay and by day 4 there was such a stench in my room that I asked to be placed in another room, but was informed that the hotel was full. I was told that the manager would be informed of my concerns. I did not hear back from the manager, nor was any action taken to correct the situation. On day 6, I was unable to enter my room with my key card, so I went to the desk clerk to get another key, which I received, but also received a lecture on what I must have done wrong to create this situation, accompanied by an attitude that implied I was bothering her with a trivial matter and she had much more important things to do than deal with my lack of competence regarding key cards. I mentioned this incident to the manager and later received what the desk clerk perceived as an apology: "I'm sorry YOU THOUGHT I was rude to you". Really?... I know you were rude to me and you just did it again! By day 8 of my stay, I'd had enough. The odor had become completely intolerable and I again asked to see the manager to inform her why I was checking out. When I told the manager of the smell, she told me that she was aware of it and that it had been a problem for quite some time, but they had been unable to identify the source. This certainly would have been valuable information to know before I booked a long-term stay. At a minimum, providing a room that is free from noxious odors is a basic standard that this hotel failed to meet, even though management was aware of the problem. And there is just no excuse for rudeness, particularly if your job is in the hospitality industry. Even though Hilton advertises a 100% money back guarantee if you are not satisfied with your stay, you need to be aware that this policy does not apply in the case of nauseating odors and perpetually rude desk clerks. read more

Perfect place to stay. Clean, great staff at front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast . Comfortable bed, pillows, and love that they use a duvet. The bed blankets in many hotels look like they have never been washed, and theirs are perfectly white and fresh. The complimentary breakfast was the best I have seen in any hotel that offers it. Much to choose from including fresh cut fruit, scrambled eggs, wedge potatoes, make it yourself waffles, cereals, breads, etc. The room had free wifi, a refrigerator, iron, electronics outlets right next to the bed and at the desk, full length mirror, flat screen tv. There was a fitness center, laundry room, and swimming pool. I highly recommend the Manassas Hampton Inn on Williamson Blvd. It's a great deal. read more

If I could give this hotel 0 stars I would. Stayed here during a class trip and the staff was very mean. We were continually yelled at for sitting in the large, furnished lobby. Our room keys were confiscated and then we were told to either go up to our room or leave (we couldn't go back to our rooms). The staff and managers even spoke directly in front of us, about us, in Spanish. The eggs for breakfast were even soggy. I will not be staying here in the future. However, the water pressure in the shower was pretty solid. read more
