First hotel we stayed at was in West Virginia and there was what looked HUGE dried blood stains that the staff tried to hide thinking we wouldn't notice. There's stains on your chairs close enough. I get it, ya want to reuse things but it looks bad and this is the result it gets The beds holy COW could they feel any more like rocks. Gonna feel that in the morning, that's a new one Bathroom is the only thing ya got going for ya that seems spotless. Love the adjustable shower head and the fact you give us more than just 2 shower towels. Although I wish their was like ridges or like a slip grip bc once the water starts it make the tub slippery OH and thank you for paying attention to filling up the provided bottles of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Clean rooms and friendly staff. The rooms are starting to show age. However they appear to keep it maintained. The Hampton brand has not appeared to go back to cleaning rooms regularly yet, wondering if they'll ever go back to pre-covid days. We did run into housekeeping and asked for fresh towels while out, she did come into room and took old towels out and brought fresh.. Sure do miss coming back to our room after a long day and having things tidying up and beds made. If you read my reviews you'll see I don't give a lot of 5s, so 3 to me is right in the middle. read more

Overall, it was fine. There was nothing majorly wrong. Hotel was clean and the breakfast was good. I liked that there were sulfate-free options for the shampoo/conditioner. Unfortunately, the parking lot was packed, my bed had an indent from people sleeping in the same position (the side against the wall was comfy tho), it sounded like water dripping on the bathroom wall facing the hallway whenever it rained, and the hallway floorboards seemed soft. The bedside lampshade was torn and in need of replacement. All of the doors in the hallways had the paint worn off in the same spot. With a little TLC and upkeep this could easily be a 5-star rating. read more

Clean hotel, comfortable bed, nice front desk staff, regular chain hotel breakfast, but not much soundproofing between the rooms and relatively expensive for a Hampton Inn. If you want to sleep in, hope you don't have a noisy neighbor. Overall a good quick overnight stop location. read more

Pretty expensive for a Hampton in this location. We were expecting it to be nicely remodeled or something to warrant a $200/night price tag. The room was decent, the shower was pretty old and grody, the hallways have seen better days. Breakfast was fine. We'll find a different place next time, even if it's farther away from where we need to be. read more

Exceptionally clean and spacious room! I appreciated the extra outlets by the bed for charging the phones and the cpap! Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Staff was super friendly. But I was most excited to have a channel guide on the tv so we could actually see what was available without having to flip channel by channel! Felt like home away from home! read more

Three of us stayed there September 25. We entered the hotel lobby exhausted and just wanted to go to bed. We pick Hampton because of past experiences being so good. After we payed we went to the correct floor and existed the elevator to what felt like an ice box. It was so cold! Good thing you can change temperature of the room. We walked inside the room and started to get my son ready for bed. My mom went to lock the door and the deadbolt part was hanging by a thread. I was worried but we were so tired I just put my son in bed. As I'm getting settled we noticed there was a dirty towel hanging on the door... . Worried the bed wasn't clean either I used my own blanket and crawled in shutting my eyes and praying for morning! Unfortunately I kept waking up on the edge of the bed due to the large hump in the middle of the bed. As we pack up I head to our free breakfast. Usually the breakfast is the same at Hampton. Not this morning! No yogurt or milk or any dairy items other than butter! Very unhappy with Hampton! They emailed me a "How did we do" email and I explained everything. I checked into the hampton inn here in Kimball TN at 6pm without a reservation on a Sunday night. Right away I noticed that the hotel is located within walking distance of just about anything you could want to eat. The front desk man was working as if he cared very much about his customers time. He was friendly but very very efficient. He gave me the choice of what floor I wanted to stay on and when I told him I didn't care he put me on the ground floor anyway. When I walked into the room it was nice and cool, the bed was huge and fluffy with a nice spread of literature laid out on a TV tray with the remote. The cable had many channels, to include five different English speaking hbo's and 1 in Spanish. The shower was a beautiful shower with accent lighting, the towels were typical hotel towels and the shower head was multi setting but dated. The noise that night was negligible, and I slept as well as I ever do in a hotel, the next morning I went to breakfast and was greeted by smiling staff that were busy working but still were very friendly and courteous. I had a toasted bagel, scrambled eggs, bacon and orange juice. Delicious. I will return to the hampton inn after this experience and I highly recommend this establishment if you are ever in the kimball area. read more

We stayed overnight traveling home and Shannon and Zane took great care of us at the front desk. Hotel is clean, beds were comfortable, coffee bar was great first thing in the morning and breakfast was better then most. Waffles, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, oatmeal with several toppings, eggs with ham and a good selection of breads and pastries. We were pulling my car so we were asked to park in the lot behind the hotel which made us very nervous. My car was packed and my husbands truck had tools etc but we were assured that Hampton Inn had cameras and would notify police. Truck was fine and we were relieved so thank you Shannon!! There were several fast food options within walking distance and a Cracker Barrel at the end of the street. I would recommend this hotel!! Job well done read more

I stay here a couple times a year when visiting family! The staff is always extremely friendly, the facilities are always super clean, the continental breakfast is always well prepared. If staying in the Jasper/Kimball area, I would highly recommend this place! It's top notch above the other hotels in the area. read more

Absolutely disgusting! We had 2 rooms and both were awful. Besides the fact that they were not clean, they had mold on the ceilings in both the room and the bathrooms. There was what appeared to be blood on the sheets in one of the rooms. The air conditioner was loud and smelled of oil. Had called as we were nearing the exit around 8am and the attendant was able to accommodate us on very short notice before their usual check in time. Currently in the room now and it is clean and spacious. The carpet was spotless as well which is a huge plus for me as most hotels have them like its their trademark. We checked in without an advanced booking and were very pleased with our room. The desk clerk was most helpful and found our Hilton Honours card for us. Not booking ahead meant that we paid a little more and did not receive our normal seniors' or CAA discount. The room was extremely clean except for a patch of dust behind the TV which caught my notice as daylight made it more visible. Breakfast was excellent with a waffle bar, hot eggs on bread, a vast selection of yogurts, fresh fruit salad, fresh fruit, and a good selection of cereals. Now THIS is a GOOD Hampton Inn! Immaculately clean, comfortable, well appointed rooms (with the best bathroom/glass fronted shower enclosure I've ever seen in a Hampton), modern HVAC, RFID locks, quick, reliable WiFi, plenty of parking, and as good a breakfast, in as pleasant a breakfast room, as is expected at a Hampton. Add that to a polite, helpful staff and a room rate which is (with our AAA discount) under $100 and you have an astonishing value. Highly recommended. Perhaps the only negative is the relative dearth of dining options - but perhaps not for long. This is a fast growing area, and perhaps some alternative to Cracker Barrel, burgers and pizza will open. I hope so - before my next visit, please! read more

We stopped in Kimball on our way from Naples FL to Wisconsin. After a long drive we were beat and needed to get off of the road. The hotel desk clerk, I think her names was Lauren, was wonderful. The hotel was clean and the room very nice. I can't say anything bad about the room or service. However, they busted us for $196.00 even with our honors card. Normally, I would have told them to rob the next guest and left but my wife was so beat that we stayed. Nice hotel but not worth the price. read more

Stopped in about 10:30 for a room for my family and me. Desk attendant was wonderful and very accommodating. We got to our room and noticed that it was pristinely cleaned. As we walked around the hotel, we began to notice the entire hotel is so clean! As we walked around, we were greeted by everyone! This is an excellent Hampton Inn. The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, fresh, and well-appointed. The hotel is near the Lodge cast-iron outlet store (and factory), and the receptionist called the store to ensure that it was still open, and then gave us a drawing with directions. Made a reservation back in July for a Nov. stay using Booking.com. On Booking, you have to enter in how many are in your party so they can find hotels to meet your needs. I have 5 in my family and need a hotel for 5. Hampton Inn in Kimball was an option (other hotels that can not accommodate 5 have the message "Your party exceeds capacity limits). I even wrote a personal message to Hampton Inn Kimball that we would need an extra bed as we are a party of 5. We arrived at 12:30am our time with my 3 children only to find this hotel CAN NOT accommodate 5 people in a room. They could not add a cot due to fire codes, but were more than willing to charge me for another room and have me split my family up. The night manager, Aaron Wamsley, was rude, condescending, and kept telling me "That's what you get for booking with a 3rd party. You should have called us directly." Great support after a 9 hour car drive (with 3 kids at 12:30am). I told him that Hampton Inn needs to straighten things out with Booking.com as other hotels do not have this issue. He should have apologized for this major oversight on Hampton's part and offered to comp a room for us. It was such a nightmare experience dealing with the young/inexperienced/inept night manager that we will never stay at a Hampton Inn again. read more
