My grandsons and I have started a tradition of having a staycation at the Hampton Inn in Greeneville every year before school starts, and this was our second year. It has quickly become something we all look forward to, and it never disappoints! This is, without a doubt, the best hotel around. It's always spotless, the pool is sparkling clean, and everything is so well maintained. The staff is absolutely fantastic and goes above and beyond to make every stay enjoyable. The breakfast area was immaculate and fully stocked, and the wonderful lady working there was so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. It's those little touches that make such a big difference. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. Thank you for helping us make such wonderful memories together year after year. We can't wait to continue this tradition for many years to come! read more

If I could it would zero stars. Customer service does not exist...worst experience. Walked out without a reservation and up the street to downtown to the General Morgan Inn for a better rate and beautiful accommodations. read more

A little too over pricey for what they offer. They keep a clean room and decent service but nothing exceptional to keep a $175 per night price tag. The breakfast buffet has the bare minimum and not very pleased. However, I don't know how many other places in the area maintain this level. read more

Great breakfast & accommodating staff! We had a whole college team stay there & they had all of our room keys ready when we checked in.

Bugs!! Room 220 has a major Cockroach infestation. I was moved to 221 which of course is the other side of 220 and bugs there too. Today's world cockroaches are easily eradicated. Owner refuses I assume to reinvest into his property. Both rooms are very dated, room 220 is far worse though. I had to pull mattress in 220 access outlet and it was filthy behind mattress. This is wear I lay my head. Management takes no pride into this property. I'm intentionally mentioning this property is owned by East Indians. This isn't attack on their rich culture or heritage but their lack of hospitality, decor and comfort. Standards. Two stars for all those employees who are kind and over apologetic. Wonderful people doing the best they can for what they have to work with, keep your chin up front desk. 8-21-19 My account was charged today for additional night when I supposed to had been credited for night I never stayed because of their cockroach infestation. read more

Not up to Hampton standards. Bed was the most uncomfortable mattress imaginable. Interior was outdated and bathroom fixtures patched. So noisy I could hear conversations in the hall. Arrived at breakfast buffet at 9:15 on Sunday to find no eggs and limited supply of everything. Staff grumbled more egg (enchiladas) were coming but they never came in the 30 minutes we were there. When I told her waffle batter was out, she asked me if I'd tried picking up the container and tilted it to get the last bit out. All this for $133 plus tax? Never again. read more

I visited my son who played for the Flyboys. Rooms were clean with a very comfortable bed. I enjoyed the week breakfast as well as the stocked snacks in the lobby for purchase. The area was quiet so I slept peacefully. Kids enjoyed the pool. Thanks for a comfortable visit for a handicap person. read more

Nice chillaxing place . Spent 2 days coming off the trail. Giant house , tons of history. Comfy large rooms. Food was awesome !! Loved it !!

You're in Greeneville Tennessee, large enough town but not exactly thriving metropolis. You're lucky to have as nice a hotel option in Greeneville to rest your mind and body, and I'm admittedly a bit of a hotel snob. Nice rooms and relatively updated linens and blackout blinds and drapes; clean, quiet, and spacious. Good AC and nice newer flat screens and lots of cable channels. (I think we had to have the A/C checked and fixed though). The lobby is very spacious, contemporary, with plenty of group seating; there is a smaller workout area that was being used frequently; and the breakfast bar in the lobby (complimentary/included in the price) was WAY more than adequate for a solid, free meal before moving on with your day. Again, I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel in the future and will likely seek it out on our next trip to Greeneville in the spring! Safe and well-lit parking area FYI. One note to staff: DON"T LEAVE the front desk for 15 minutes on a Sunday morning when you are needed by departing guests, you know, that process called checkout.... I might have given 4 stars except for such a poor showing by the front office staff on a busy morning. read more

This is an older hotel, but was fairly clean. My room was near the stairway, so I heard a lot of noise at night. The pool was not open and looked like a disaster area. The cover was partially on and dirt and algae was all over the top of the water. Gross. The gym looked ok. The breakfasts were decent. It was a full hot breakfast each morning with something different each day; eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, and cereals too. read more

Clean, quiet room. The staff was nice and accommodated a late check out. The room included a mini fridge, microwave and a surprisingly good "pod" coffeemaker. read more

Really like this one. Been here a night, will be here for two more. I'm on the second floor and the carpet in the hallway is all brand-new. The beds in the room are comfortable, the TV is nice, and I also have a fridge and a microwave in the room. So far, the staff has been great; very friendly and helpful. There is also a pool which looks to be very clean and tidy. If you're looking for food, there are quite a few restaurants very close and nearby. I would recommend this place to stay. read more

Simple, I want a pool that I can swim in year around. An outdoor pool inTN does not cut it. For a quick stay while in Greeneville and you want o bank oh Hilton points it's ok. If you are staying longer than a few days drive to Johnson City for the Doubletree. read more

Hampton Inn Greeneville - Hotels Near Me - Greeneville, Tennessee

Great hotel; everything has been updated/upgraded on the inside, from the neon lights near the elevators to the touch card key sensor on the doors. The only thing left to update is the interior rooms. That's not to say that they aren't completely comfortable and enjoyable, though. I would definitely be back should I visit Greeneville again. read more

Very disappointed with this hotel. The staff is very sweet, but the manager won't work with you on price. They raised the rate for the week that we were here for baseball. Once I noticed the rate dropped, she would not work with me to reduce my bill. Sorry, but this hotel is not a $999 a week hotel..... It is really at $113 a night hotel... Don't pay more for an old hotel! Checking out and saving some money! read more

I'll sure be back to this location. Service and hospitality were amazing. Rooms were very nice, comfortable and clean. The management of this location should be commended. Excellent job everyone! read more

Stayed here again recently and while everything else was fine- we stayed on the 1st floor this time and the noise was crazy. Could literally hear everything happening in the hallway as if it were happening right next to my ear. Hardly slept after 5 am so was not the best stay this time, unfortunately. read more

I like this hotel. It is clean, comfortable, and decent rates. Not many dining options but the Fatz Cafe in front is a solid choice. Gas station next door if you suddenly find yourself without a lottery ticket or smokes. Staff is friendly. This is my second visit here and will surely be back. read more

I was bitten by bed bugs on both legs. I notified the front desk and was given another room. I was disgusted by the lack of empathy from the staff. When I picked up my new room key, I was presented with the manager's cell phone number to text pictures for the exterminator. No one asked if I was ok, needed medical attention, or apologized. I sent her the pictures and the exterminator claims there was no evidence of bed bugs. I advised the manager if there were no bed bugs, there was some type of infestation in the room. As I was offended and felt as if she was calling me a liar, I immediately let her know my plan to contact Hilton's corporate office and did not wish to speak with her further. The pictures I took of the bites and actual bug look exactly as pictures I found when I googled bed bugs to make sure I knew what I was looking at. When checking in (for three weeks of my four week stay), I asked the staff not to check me into a handicapped accessible room and was told they were sold out, each time. The hotel seemed empty most of the time I was there and somehow the front desk staff magically found another available room when the bed bug incident happened. This is the most awful experience I have ever had at a Hilton property and is making me think twice about staying at another Hilton property for business travel again. Thankfully, I am finished with my business travel to that area. read more

This hotel does not live up to their name sake company. Staff seemed more interested in talking with each other than helping guests. Tea service was poor even during the morning meal. Both coffee and hot water were cold during the afternoon and evening. On our last day there we went to breakfast around 9:50 (closes at 10) and there was no food. When I mentioned this to staff I was told "it takes 20 minutes to cook the food and we close at 10:00. Basically you are out of luck. My mother and I ate breakfast on the road to our next destination. I have to say that they did get hot water for tea when I asked, but not until the finished talking. Manager and maintenance staff were very responsive when I requested that a bathroom light be replaced. read more

This hotel would get a fifth star but I got surprised by the rate when I checked out. My fault of course, and I would have stayed here anyway (I love Hampton consistency) but nearly $190 after tax.... read more

Love coming to this place, great breakfast along with a friendly staff. Always clean and quiet, great for the City of Greeneville, TN.

This is not to go against the staff, or the hotel cleanliness. This is to say that the owner kicked us out because "the state of the room". Let me elaborate, we had a house fire and were LIVING out of that room, there for we had clothes, toys, and a few personal items lying around. Admittedly, we have the clothes out haphazardly because we were living out of boxes and it's hard to find an outfit to wear. But how do you expect a family of four to live in a tiny room for two weeks without it getting a little messy? I don't even think the owner Sheila even most into it she took the word of the housekeepers who couldn't be bothered to ask why we had so much stuff laying around. I know that is not their job, but they had no right to assume we were just messing nasty people. The room itself had no damage to it the carpets weren't dirty there were no holes in the wall. It was simply a matter of a family living out of a hotel room. read more
