I had to stay at this hotel for a week due to the passing of my son. This hotel couldn't have made the stay more comfortable!! From the GM Chris, to assistant GM Sue, Jessica, Corrina & Patty, they made a very difficult time as enjoyable as it could be. To the friendliest greetings everyday to just making sure our family's every need was taken care of. Great staff and a very clean place to stay!! They took some of the left over flowers from the funeral and put them in a vase at the front desk and told us they would keep them there in memory of my son. read more

We were in town for a hockey tournament. Given there aren't many hotels in West Bend, our group ended up at the Hampton Inn. Glad that we did! Our group arrived following a game. So, there were many of us checking in at the same time. The receptionist appeared to be a bit overwhelmed, but she got us all checked in quickly. She was also helpful in providing options for dining for a group of our size. She highlighted a local pizza place that would deliver and offered the breakfast area for us to eat as a team. Hospitality! When I made the reservation, I asked that our room be in a quiet area of the hotel. Our request was granted as we were the last room in the hall - away from elevators, ice machines, etc. Appreciated the attention to detail! We reserved a king room with a pull-out sofa. I was surprised by the large room. It was not set up as a standard hotel room. There was a kitchenette at the entrance. The pull-out sofa was opposite the door. The king bed was far from the room door. This added to the quietness of the room. The room included a refrigerator, large closet, and other standard amenities. The bathroom vanity was outside the bathroom - allowing multiple people to be getting ready at the same time. The free breakfast included many goodies. The team was specifically excited about the waffle toppings bar - chocolate chips, fruit, whipped cream, etc. Will definitely return to this hotel for stays in the area! read more

Nice location - Courteous help - Nicely furnished room - Complimentary breakfast is a nice touch and the internet in the lobby (which is nice) is strong. Room has fridge, microwave and bar sink. Walmart is next door (or across the street, or behind the hotel) The only "complaints"? - Really needed a late checkout but couldn't get one. - Digital check-in did not work (room not ready when ordered). That is a cool feature where you can actually pick your room (from the app) before you get there. All in all a nice choice. read more

A very nice hotel with a convenient location, however, West Bend, WI, with all due respect, doesn't have much hotel competition. Firstly, the good part: the hotel was attractive, new, clean, comfortable and I love their beds!!!! It was a very nice facility overall but, had minor deficiencies which irritated this business traveler. When time is limited and one has to adhere to schedules, these issues are quite annoying. Heating and Cooling: HVAC unit did not function on a low fan setting. HI setting was very intrusively noisy and resulted in an overly cold room. This may have been an isolated incident and I did not contact the hotel about this issue since I stayed for only one night. Breakfast: NO COFFEE AVAILABLE at 7:30AM. I had to search for an employee to ask for coffee. Once I asked, the employee was very gracious and responsive. THANK YOU !!!! I do believe there is NO excuse for not having coffee available at prime breakfast times. The breakfast was very limited compared to other competitors, however, I would have been fully satisfied if all items were readily available. Also, the offerings were not refreshed and I found myself scraping the bottom of the chafing trays for some remnant of eggs and Canadian bacon. As for quality, the scrambled eggs were swimming in water and only on spoonful was remaining...likewise with the Canadian Bacon. If you entice me with free breakfast, I expect that it is to be ensured that it is available at all times. Let me emphasize that the room was very attractive and the bed was SUPERB !! However, I need to sleep at a comfortable temperature free of intrusive noise and the AC unit, while providing very abundant cold air, was noisy with its fan. I stayed only one night in one room and, despite my critique and nit picking, I definitely will stay there again and will politely speak up about improvements that I believe are needed. read more

Hey, for the money, this place was awesome! The room was CLEAN and the decor was modern. Front desk staff (all three that I saw) were very friendly and talkative. The beds have pillow top mattresses which were very comfy and added a nice touch. Mints on the table and free wi-fi plus a nice little view. The part that made this a five star for me was the breakfast, lots of options (eggs, cereal, waffles, bagels) plus a free paper. It was pretty good for being free, not to mention the women working there offered to make me special eggs with out ham because I don't eat meat. So very nice! read more

Do not come here. The front desk lady can accommodate some random biker but not a couple who already spent time driving people around safely and making sure there was a bed for us to get a few hours of sleep. Not worth it!!!!! read more

Typically good Hampton Inn. Not a bad location but as it has been pointed out before there is not much competition in West Bend. The only bummer was the breakfast. Usually Hampton will have a no-frills breakfast but it will be edible. This stuff not very edible except for the boxed cereal and yogurt. Good staff and the room itself was fantastic with a good selection of TV channels. read more

I recently stayed here Oct 4th through the 6th. For our daughters wedding. Not only were we the parents but I was the decorator and florist as well. We were greeted by a very friendly General manager called Chris, I was coming i go the hotel with a number of boxes filled with live flowers, after being checked in he asked if there was anything else he could help with. At that time I jokingly asked if they had a craft room where I could work. Without missing a beat, he said well no but I do have an empty conference room u can use plus room to clean and prepare the flowers. All I can say is that everyone went above and beyond to help get us anything we needed ! The morning front desk attendant, I'm sorry for the life of me can't remember her name was fabulous and ready to help when needed. Everything was super clean, beautiful and breakfast was great ! We arrived at the hotel shortly after scheduled check in and Sue helped us with check in. She upgraded due to room we originally wanted wasn't available. Room was clean, nice and large. We spent 2 nights, breakfast was provided and was simple but very good, hot and ready by 7 I believe. Coffee was also very good and complimentary. I would never recommend staying at this hotel!! I was very disappointed in their customer service and their manager's. 4 different times I had to stop at the front desk to have them adjust my bill. The first time they charged me twice. The second time they charge me twice again. The third time they refused to give me the discount price because my cousin was getting married so to have family stay at their hotel she was able to get us a discount rate if we booked our hotel room/rooms before a certain date. Which we did. They tried to tell that we canceled 1 of the 2 hotel rooms that we booked which we didn't do because both rooms had the same confirmation number. So if I canceled a room it would have canceled both rooms! Maria the manager was very rude, argumentative,disrespectful and a liar!! We had proof, we showed them the confirmation that was sent to us by email. Maria the manager still argued with me! I don't care if you are a first time staying at Hilton Franchise Hotel or if you are a diamond member staying at the Hilton Franchise Hotel you should never be treated the way my Aunt and I have been treated or talked too!! There was a lack of communication between their front desk staff and managers!! THIS IS NOT HOW THE HILTON FRANCHISE TREATS ITS VALUED CUSTOMERS!! This is not the Hilton Franchise Hotel standard that they live up too! This hotel and it's managers are an embarrassment to the Hilton name!!Hilton should be very upset and disappointed how they treated one of their diamond member customers!! Used this Hampton for our wedding block of rooms. The coordinator, Stacy, was great to work with and quick to respond and return calls. They had good incentives for booking a block of rooms and we received our room free for having a minimum number of other rooms filled. Everyone that stayed here seemed really pleased and they allowed us to host a small breakfast in the morning as well. The rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. read more

I have been here multiple times for friend and family parties and I must say it is a very nice facility. The bathrooms are close by, the lobby has comfortable seating, it is clean, and there was always a little something to snack on. The most impressive aspect was a specific receptionist who I have encountered multiple times. I believe her name was Evelyn (excuse me if I spelled her name wrong) and she always has a bright smile on her face. Every question and situation that needed to be handled was met with positivity and immediate action. She took interest in multiple parties I attended by checking in on how we were doing and helping if need be. I have overheard some other guests not affiliated with us give her a hard time for things out of a receptionist's control and there never once was a falter in her bubbly personality and willingness to try and fix whatever problem arose. All in all, I have had great experiences at this particular hotel. I have recommended it to family and friend visitors to stay in and it will remain number one on my list to house my wedding guests in. read more
