Checked in after midnight and the night agent was still super nice. Sometimes overnight people can be rude. But she was very pleasant and helpful and sympathetic because my suitcase was lost at airport. All good except my TV doesn't work. I always love the cleanliness and incredible amenities that are provided at TownPlace Suites by Marriott, but this location is not ideal. Cars are heard from the highway nearby, and walls are very thin to the point I could hear people talking in the hallway and the rooms to the sides. People were stomping and pounding on the countertops on the floor above to the point where I requested a top floor room for future stays. Staying for one month and the amenities of mini fridge, microwave, stovetop and desk are excellent! Would like to have a fan for in the bathroom, and possibly a fan in the room or option to have some sort of white noise or sound cancellation. Clean bed, kitchen and bathroom. Staff were very sweet and accommodating. Great spread for breakfast options. read more

King suite very small although did have s couch, a kitchenette and a desk area. But the desk has to pul out from under kitchen counter to use it - blocking more of the Ron, pull out sofa would touch the bed, blocking passage. Just too cramped to call it suite or for more than two. Bathroom looked nice but poor design - with low water pressure and volume and open ended shower it never felt warm in the shower. Low pressure /volume and soft water made it a long process to wash my fairly long hair. Towels were small and not the usual quality of a nicer hotel. Kitchenette was nice and equipped with dishwasher! It has pans and dishes but no silverware. Closet was a nice enough design but small hanging area and no real place to set a suitcase. Rooms on side near highway were quite noisy with traffic. There was also some noisy equipment running inside, ventilation system maybe but we had turned off A/C unit - ok if you like considerable white noise but I don't. Staff was nice enough but not always at desk. Breakfast was all packaged, maybe due to Covid but only ok. Not what I expect from a Marriot overall. Brand new hotel but only average at best, would normally call it a three but Marriott should have been more. read more

Great place to stay! Customer service is excellent. Hotel is clean. Room is nice and spacious, very clean. Good hot breakfast. Hot coffee 24 hours a day. Gym with new equipment. Heated pool. Laundry facilities. Outdoor grill and outdoor patio set with fire pit. Will definitely stay here while our son is at university. Concordia special rates as well. Yes the hotel looked fairly new, however it was NOT worth more than about $100-$125 per night, and definitely NOT the prices they charge. The breakfast was just ok, but not restocked in any hurry as it was in very limited quantity/choice, but when closing time came around, they picked up what was left very fast! Coffee was always empty, and/or cold. Would not recommend this hotel unless they are priced much lower than the other hotels in the city. read more

Great, new, hotel. Easy to get to right off the highway. Stayed 2 nights in a 1 bedroom suite. Bed was a rad small for two people but thr pull out sofa bed was comfortable. Huge TVs in both rooms and kitchen was great! Stove/oven, microwave, fridge, even a dishwasher! Handicapped bathroom has tons of grab bars and lots of room to move around. Everything was very clean and new finishes everywhere. Only negatives were freeway noise and loud stomping upstairs. But we brought earplugs and it wasnt a big deal. Friendly staff and standard free breakfast in mornings. Really nice hotel for very affordable price. Will stay again when visiting family in grafton. read more

It is clean , safe and newish construction. If you list the details that came in the room you would be impressed. However the reality is a bit different. A king suite with sofa and kitchen was very small. Yes we had a room with a king bed and a pull out sofa. It had a nice size Bath room, a dish washer, a good size small refrigerator with a usable freezer section. A nice microwave and a two pad electric stove. There are cups,plates and pans. What is missing? Utensils to cook with, or eat with, but most of all space. If you open the pullout or pull the desk out to use then you cannot walk in the room. The bathroom is a good size with a very large and open shower but only half a door and almost no water flow. ( the last part is an exaggeration but it is very low flow ). The half openness means that the shower area does not get warm and comfortable but a breeze seems to be cooling you down during a shower. The water does get very hot, I have to give them that point. Our room near the middle of the building was fine on traffic noise but many people seemed to be bothered by road noise. There is construction and the trucks do make a lot of tire noise due to the very rough road, but that may get better after the road work is finished. The nose of the bath exhaust is never going away. That is always on and is very noticeable. Not too bad but very noticeable. They have a nice amount of outlets and USB sockets. The people working here have been very good. The front desk is not always personed but they are around and have done a good job helping when I needed something. The breakfast selection is lot of carbs with some eggs. It is what you expect in the COVID days. It stayed well stocked and all packaged for single use. P.S if you want yogurt, I hope you like strawberry. Overall if you do not spend much time in the room, and like coldish showers and you can get a good price then OK. But do not expect a Marriott experience. Note to the manager - I feel for you, there is not much you can do because most of the issues are built into the structure. Maybe different low flow heads and shower curtains., but whoever designed this needs to be stopped. read more

If you've read my hotel reviews before you know I look for three things in hotels; cleanliness, ease of check in, and how friendly the staff is. First, the hotel, rooms, and grounds are clean except the outside seating areas stunk like smoke because the guests and staff that smoke took over that area, it's right by the main entrance so unfortunately you will get a whiff. Check in is easy, especially if you use the Marriot app, only down side is the virtual key never got to my phone so instead of being able to go directly to my room I had to stop at the front desk and get my key, this is the second time this has happened to me at one of their hotels. The staff is friendly and helpful, even though they don't have coffee in the lobby they still have it available and are happy to grab a fresh hot cup for you in the morning. I would definitely stay here again. read more

Our King suite was very small. The television was mounted on the wall next to the bathroom. If you weren't careful you could hit your head on the way out. The breakfast was a grab and go of all sweets while the Hampton next door where our friends stayed had a full hot buffet. On the positive side the staff was very friendly and the place was very clean. It was disappointing for a Marriott. read more

There is a lot of pot smoking going on here. Every floor. There is never an attendant at the front desk. Ever. Our shower doesn't drain and no one cares. The Haryana he from the previous guest was never taken out. When we called down they didn't care and didn't change it. We called a week in advance to ask if the grills are clean. They said the grills are cleaned Dailey. They aren't. They are gross. Not sure what the attraction to this place is. It's dumpy, despite its three years of age. read more

ROAD NOISE AND TRUCK TRAFFIC While building next to a major highway is nothing new, the amount of noise in all of the rooms is unacceptable. Heavy truck traffic all night coupled with a poor road surface means audible and sub-audible noise transfer that makes falling asleep and staying asleep next to impossible. Ask the people in line for coffee at 6:00 am. I did. Nobody slept very well. I'm a well seasoned traveler and a light sleeper but know most of the tricks to block general noise and the lobby clerk and I tried a number of rooms and they were all equally unacceptable. I opted to stay in my room (207), plugged in my earbuds and took an ambien. I dozed on and off throughout the night but never really fell asleep. I would have been a little more angry had it not been for the young woman working the front desk who tried to find a room that was quieter. You could tell that she had been through this drill before and was doing the best she could. It's a fairly new and nice looking hotel. Unfortunately, as I said earlier, this is a bad location, bad build, bad windows or something. I've slept in a lot of hotels near highways and haven't had that type of road noise. read more

General Manager that manages this hotel acts like she owns Marriott. I had a horrible experience here. Dirty room, shit stains all over the wall in the bathroom and no hot water in shower. When I called manager to let her know what happened she didn't bother to apologize. Instead she responded with "if you didn't have a good stay here then just don't come back ". New, clean, spacious and good service. Only downside is extremely loud freeway noise. Ask for a room away from the freeway.
