Cigarette smokers are accommodated here.

Extremely accommodating staff, friendly service and far above average in every day. They always leave the lights on.

If you have any problems you have an email or a phone number to reach out to somebody and it will be days before they reply. I did not enjoy my stay and ask for a refund when checked out early. They denied my refund and now are not replying to my emails. This is very poor customer service. This hotel has no elevator and you will have to climb up two or three flights of stairs to get to your room so if you're elderly, I do not recommend it. The thermostat doesn't work very well and I was boiling in my room and the pillows are very flat and old and I started to have neck pain. I didn't enjoy my stay and as I stated, I left early, there was nobody at the hotel to talk to about these issues. I still have the email that I sent you asking for early checkout and getting a refund so you can't say you never got a message because I also talked to somebody via email by the name of Nicole. I just sent you a copy of the email. Please do the right thing and refund me the day that I was not at your hotel.

I was wondering if it was some kind of Braille. My husband suggested they were trying to "antique the furniture....lol. The room was clean and I was impressed that the ceiling fan in the bathroom was dust free. We were here for two nights for a Conference. I freaked out my first morning when I took a shower and the hair dryer wasn't working but found a button in the outlet that reset it. They have a grab and go breakfast We are here once a year for two nights for a Lion Convention in Feb. Last year I booked a room with a hot tub. One of our Lions Clubs had a 75th Anniversary in August so we were back and this time I booked a Suite. I like the 2 rooms so when one of us is sleeping the other can be on their computer in another room. I am here again in 2023 for an overnight. We always say you get what you pay for. This hotel was bought out by Holiday Inn Express and is supposed to be in the middle of an upgrade but so far I have not noticed anything different except they put up a wall between the hotel and restaurant so you have to go outside and down the sidewalk to enter. Our room for a Wed. Night was only $102. We have a convention in Feb on a weekend and have a special rate of $109. So not sure what the actual room rate will be on the weekend.

This was not a good stay…read more I travel often for business. I am dedicated to the Club Carlson (Radisson Rewards) line of hotels because they have the best points system, in my opinion. And amazing hotels in Europe and other parts of the world. But I digress. I did a little hotel hoping to take advantage of bonus points being offered, and decided to try out the Country Inn and Suites, Port Washington, WI. Uhm, how about NO. When I arrived the "desk attendant" was not wearing a mask. He put one on but left his nose exposed. I understand, your business is slow and you're uncomfortable, but it didn't leave me with any sense of confidence about the hotel in general. As a Gold level member of Radisson Rewards, I am supposed to get a free upgrade and water bottles for my room. Neither was offered, and that's not such a big deal, but I'll tell you what was... The room was DIRTY. Rundown, tired looking and not clean by any means. Mold around faucets, stains and rips in the carpeting, busted lampshades, broken switches on the lamps, it was GRIM. But it was late in the day and I was exhausted, so I just sucked it up. Oh, and one side of the hotel is facing the highway, and the other side is the parking lot with blasting lights. The heating system was a joke and I barely slept. I awoke at 4:00 AM showered (yuck) and hightailed it out of there. Never again.

The issue that came up is something that I have had to take a few weeks to fully process and I only leave this post as a way to give feedback to the owners and prevent what happened to us happening to others. The owners were very helpful in that they moved chairs for the ceremony and set up the tables and chairs for the reception, they graciously allowed us to rent some of their gorgeous decorations which we so appreciated. The wedding ended at 10:30pm as was their policy. We rented the house out for the weekend and so after the wedding we we're planning on having a bonfire and enjoying our night. The owner came up to me (Katy) and was very upset and demeaning. She called my wedding party degenerates and condescendingly told me that they were trying to take the keg that we had paid for to the bonfire to enjoy for the after party but that this was against their policy (reviewing their policy this is not written anywhere in it). I tried to have a conversation with her to apologize and ask what she would like us to do and she escalated things very quickly - raising her voice, calling my husband a "spoiled brat." I started to cry and she told me "tears will get you no where, honey." I told the other employee some of the things she had said to us and she gaslight me saying that I was misconstruing her words and I was just "too drunk to remember." I had a few drinks at my own wedding but was no where in a state of mind where I can't remember everything she said to us that night. I had to end the conversation saying we would talk in the morning because she continued to get more and more angry, and we were equally upset with what had occurred. I have never had an experience quite so unprofessional and had an interaction with someone who was so unreasonable and just down right mean. My feedback is that this venue become a dry venue because they clearly have issue with this type of celebration (and maybe an anger management class). The issue that I think she was missing was that it was not that we couldn't drink after the bar closed (even though as I said above this was never said prior), it was how she spoke to us and handled the situation. I truly hope this never happens again to anyone else.
