I've always liked Hampton Inns. The Hampton Inn & Suites Warren was particularly nice. The rooms don't have any particularly good views but are spacious, clean, and less noisy than most in other Hamptons. It has a decent complimentary breakfast along with plenty of good seating. I was given a warm greeting when I checked in and found the hotel staff to be helpful and friendly. I know it says "Warren," but this Hampton is not actually located in Warren. It's located several miles north of the City of Warren in Conewango Township, commonly referred to as North Warren, though there is no city or municipality of North Warren. read more

Stayed last year for pride. Two people cost was around $164 for two nights. Was nice new place. This year I wanted to make reservations for just me for two nights. Cost? Over $800. They said because of the event. I stay at Hampton inn several times a year. Not anymore. This is disgusting way to treat customers. I am the dj for pride so it's not like I have many choices where to stay. Improve your business practices and you will improve your business. read more

Very comfortable stay. We checked in late and was greeted immediately without waiting on anyone at the counter. Staff was very friendly and energetic and seemed pleased to see us. Not very typical for a late night check-in. The room was very tidy and clean as expected. And the bed, the bed was so freaking comfortable. It's pretty rare for me at a hotel. I usually just have to deal with it. But I did not want to get out of this better in the morning. I was impressed. The breakfast was nice and hot and very well stocked. Cold juices and milk and fresh fruit. The waffle maker was out of order for some reason. My wife was a little bummed out about that as she loves waffles. But we were satisfied with the eggs and ham and Hashbrowns. This is always been one of my favorite places to stay and I've never been disappointed here. read more

The room was clean and stocked with plenty towels & wash cloths. Staff was friendly and always available....they were always cleaning in all areas. The Hampton Inn is a gem in Warren, PA. Stayed here for almost a week and I have never seen such on point service and hospitality in a hotel (high end included). The room is clean, no sign of wear and tear, with all the commodities one needs. The room service is neither heard nor seen, but somehow manage to put my room in order every day (must be Milford schooled..see arrested development). The front desk staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There is always bottled water and coffee there, no matter the time of the day. The facilities are impeccable and the breakfast is a story for itself. I never found any breakfast items missing and every afternoon/evening there are cookies in the lobby. Would give 6 stars if possible. Keep up the great work!!! read more

When we checked in we put a debit card on file and the guy stated it will be ok as we were planning to pay cash when checking out. next morning woke up to a letter under our door because our card was declined.. went and looked at our bank to see 3 transactions totaling $263.04 after we were told they won't do it. Husband called and told them to quit trying, went down and talked to GM and she stated the guy who checked us in "did not know" the debit card would try and charge (yet he was a manager). She reassured us it would be taken care and nothing else would be charged to our card. Ok problem solved right! Next morning we woke up to another letter under our door because it pulled another $175.38, so the GM provided us with that amount in cash to make it right,instead of releasing the transaction from my bank. The day we got home 2 days later that transaction hit my bank and made it to negative $168.58. The only thing the GM knew to do was to fax/ email a letter to the bank to release it which BOA does not accept. BOA advised hotel it has to be electronic, GM reassured it was released and BOA stated it would "drop off" and fix my bank on 12/26 going off the GM word. GM stated "I guess once this falls off your stay would be free",it was not said like she really wanted it to happen. After I spent 5 hours on the phone between the GM, Hilton customer service & the bank to realize the transaction for $263.04 still has not gone back in my bank as she said it was released... leaving the hotel now owing over $400. During all of this I called the hotel to talk to GM and she was not available at the moment, the lady I was talking to took a message for me. I quickly summarized who I was and what was going on.. this lady who had ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with this went from nice to rude and said "well there is a sign on the counter stating this would happen with a debit card." Keep in mind at this point I have talked to GM several time in person, tony who checked us in, and other front desk people and she was the first to say ANYTHING about any sign. Two days later the $263 was FINALLY back in my bank. the 26th I called bank to see about the $175.38 and it was already posted to my account and is not showing anything for it to be released. I called Hilton customer service with my claim number and informed them, they advised to wait another day just in case, which I was ok with. Well today is now the 29th and it is still not back in my account, needless to say I will NEVER go back to this hotel. My family has stayed at several hotels and NEVER this problem & also since when does a hotel charge your entire stay the first night you are there, it's always when you check out... read more

I have nothing but great things to say about this location. Immediately upon entering the front desk staff was e trembly friendly. It was Monday night so they had free pizza and cupcakes, yum! The hotel seems like a newer building. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable with Hershey kisses on my pillow and I was also chosen as guest of the day and given a free chocolate bar! This Hampton Inn is almost new. The rooms are very comfortable, spacious and clean. The breakfast, although not the Ritz, was reasonable and we were satisfied. The coffee was good, The scrambled eggs were OK but chopped a little too much. Overall, it's very similar to most hotel breakfasts. What else would you expect for free? Hampton Inn probably the best hotel in the area if you're visiting Jamestown. It's only a short drive and it's much, much nicer than comfort inn. We will certainly be back. read more

I always love staying at a Hampton Inn, but this one was especially nice. Everything looked very new and was incredibly clean--even the coffee station in the lobby. Comfortable pillows, awesome breakfast with a large selection, and nice little details that most hotels don't think of, like a laptop desk, for example. The staff was especially nice by letting us check out an hour later than usual. (We were stuck in the area because of Hurricane Irene passing through New England where we were headed.) The only thing that would've been nice is a fridge or microwave, but otherwise we just used the microwave in the breakfast area. No big deal! read more

I'm not sure who is running this hotel, but they truly understand what it means to go above and beyond in every hospitality way! It has been a long time since I stayed in a hotel that took notice to every little detail, and spent time/effort thinking about how to enhance a guest's stay. As many have mentioned, I also entered my room to find Hershey kisses on my pillow. The note read, "We are sorry you are away from home tonight! We would like to make things better if we might. Before you jump into bed and turn off the light, please enjoy this Hug & Kiss goodnight!" Second, Monday nights are "Memorable Monday" here at the Hampton in Warren, PA. Even though I'm in my mid-20's I still found the event to be quite enjoyable, and quite different than I'm used to. They brought in an elderly man, who sang hit songs from the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's. He was quite a talented performer, and even tossed in some enjoyable comedy in between songs. Additionally, the hotel was serving complimentary hot dogs, potato bacon soup, chips, cookies, and soda. It was great to experience something new and unique at a Hampton Inn. The hotel is very clean, close distance to many restaurants and a Walmart. I had a wonderful and refreshing stay, and will be sure to add this hotel to my regular stop every time I'm passing through. read more

In addition, the free cold water bottles, seasonal decorations, and chocolate at night were nice extra touches that I don't usually see at this chain. Background: looked for a hotel in jamestown for the Lucy-Desi Comedy fest. Jamestown was all booked. Warren had the next closest hotel to Jamestown. So, it was noted as being new so, what the heck! I had google mapped it to see how long it would take to drive from Warren to Jamestown and it was like just under 30 mins. I figured I could deal with that. OK, so getting here was a challenge from Cleveland because of the amount of road construction on the way. What should have taken 2.5 hours took us more like 3.5 hour but I am not holding that against the hotel! Just beware. The hotel sits by itself pretty much with a Wal-Mart just up the road. There is also an Applebees, Bob Evans, Burger King. Not a lot to choose from in terms of eating but we made it work on a 5 night stay. The condition of the hotel is great. Again, it is fairly new. The room with 2 queens is spacious enough but not huge. Nice desk for computer work. Wi-Fi is free however, not a great signal (I've got a 2011 Dell AlienWare laptop with great speed and it just wasn't picking up a great signal but it sufficed for basic things like web surfing). The TV ... for me, was a bit small for the dresser it sat on, looked to be about a 32" TV ... but it was flat screen and a decent view. I would have just preferred a slightly bigger TV. The bathroom was pretty neat. For the towel holder they have this thing on the wall with like 3-4 cubbie holes. In each cubbie is a hand towel and wash rag. I liked this a lot. I could keep it in its own place and away from the other person who I was sharing the room with. the bedding is fantastic. One thing I did struggle with ... the a/c in the room. I had read other reviews on other sites about the a/c in the rooms - that is was always too hot or too cold. That is absolutely true. Sitting on 69 degrees and it is humid in here. But later it will be freezing at 69 degrees. If you move the thermostat up to 70 degrees, you will literally feel heat come out of the vents. So, we left it at 69 and dealt with it when it started to feel chilly. This is about the only reason I can't give this place 5 stars. And just one other small issue ... around 6am they deliver the USA Today to your door. Which, in typical hotels is fine - they leave it right outside your room. Well here ... they try an dtuck it under the door. Which would be easy in a hotel with the typical inch of opening between the bottom of the door and the carpet. in this case, the door has like a brush like thing in that space (my guess is to drown out hallway noise) but every morning you hear the people slowly trying to cram the paper through that space. Not unbearable but I am aware of it every morning. This room has no microwave or fridge ... so just FYI. The breakfast was standard stuff. Scrambled eggs are always scrambled into the tinest of pieces. Cereal, waffles, yogurt, sausage/bacon etc. the basics and it did what it needed to do before we started our day. The eating area is a more updated place than what you might see in other Hampton Inns. I liked it. Service and front desk - nice as can be. they provide you a free bottle of water if you ask for it. Parking was adequate. Well lit. They serve Coke products in the soda vending machines which they have on every floor. Now, the drive to Jamestown really takes about 25 mins. It is a straight shot too. Straight up 62 to 60 and boom, you are there. The location of this hotel is right by the national forest here ... and seriously, it is right like - there. Would I stay here again - absolutely. I really enjoyed my stay. read more

Basically the best hotel in Warren (for my money). The beds are fantastic (which is a priority for me), the customer service is solid and the price is affordable. It doesn't have excessive accommodations but if you're just looking for a nice place to stay in Warren, you can't do much better than this. read more

I stayed here for a business trip for 2 days. When you pull in and park at the hotel, you face what I would call a butterfly meadow. I received a phone call as I parked and sat there looking at the meadow and witnessed hundreds of butterflies on the plants in this wild field. after my phone call ended I stayed just to watch this phenomenon. I hope this beautiful hotel keeps this meadow from development, It Is an asset to the Butterfly population, And adds to the ambience of the hotel. read more

We were there for a group reunion about 3 weeks ago, our 28th in several states. The Warren Hampton Inn is hands down the finest accommodations we have had. The staff was so hospitable and detail oriented I can think of no place else this quality of care was exhibited. From our arrival to departure 4 days later I felt like we were family. I just went down looking for a plastic knife, mentioned having a glass of wine with my mom, and someone offered up wine glasses without my asking. Warren has needed an updated hotel for a long time and this is the perfect solution. We normally stay at the Holiday Inn when we come for a visit, but the this hotel had opened since our last trip. We were told that the rooms were much larger than the Holiday Inn, which was important since we were bring out 18 month old son and needed somewhere that had enough space for all of us, a highchair, pack and play, and toys. The Hampton Inn was perfect, not only did it offer more space, but there was also a kitchenette which is very important as there are a limited amount of restaurants in Warren that are not fast food. The kitchenette had a sink, refrigerator, coffee maker, and storage. It would have been even better if there was a hot plate, but we were told that it was not an option for insurance purposes. But there is plenty of room for a prep area and Crockpot to have some non-fast food options. Additionally, the Hampton Inn has a great pool that is nice and warm, as well as a large well-equiped gym. The staff was unbelievably friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable (including tracking down hypoallergenic pillows for us at 2 am on the night we arrived). When we decided to leave a day early to go to Pittsburgh in an effort to make traveling back to California easier for our son (it's a four hour drive to the airport followed by a three hour flight, a two hour layover, and another three hour flight) corporate said they could not refund the last day or transfer the reservation to a hotel in Pittsburgh. We talked to the hotel manager about it as one of the hotel employees suggested and she was very nice and told us that since we would be coming back in a year or two that she would make a note in the computer to give a night free on the next trip. She also told us about a room on the fourth floor that is twice the size of the large room we had as a tip for the next trip. This experience made me take pride in being from Warren, as we take our jobs and customer service seriously. This hotel goes above and beyond to help bridal parties! Not only did they book our rooms in advance with an excellent rate, but when we thought we would go over they booked more rooms without a fee. I came in the day of my wedding to find a bride and groom basket with goodies and champagne, it was beyond clean, and they made all of our guests feel very welcome. Most of the people that were there have travelled near and far, and most said this was the best customer service they have ever received. BRAVO!
