This was a great property. A little tricky to get into if you approach from the south, but once you find it, you will be pleased. It's tucked behind some of the Kittery outlets, many of which were sadly vacant. The hotel is brightly lit inside and out (positively so), and it looks like it's just been refurbished. Everything looked clean and new. There is a nice breakfast area (free breakfast) off the lobby and although we don't have a dog, it was great to see how dog-friendly they are! Water bowls near the elevators, Milk Bone biscuits at the front desk, and in the rooms, next to the Do Not Disturb door tag is one alerting staff that there is a furry friend at play. The front desk and housekeeping staff were all very welcoming and professional. We appreciate that they minimized carpeting in the guest rooms, but we noticed the absence of recycling cans. Great bedding and shower head. We didn't use the fitness center but it looked great! Lots of cardio equipment including a Peloton and a wide selection of dumbbells. There was some noise from the highway but certainly not the worst and it didn't keep me from falling alas keep or staying asleep. read more

We stayed one night and found the rooms to be as expected which is a positive. The location is convenient to a number of restaurants and the highway. our breakfast was pretty much what you will find in most chain hotels. read more

Perfect location just off the highway, clean hotel with everything that we needed for a quick weekend in town.

Great location and very clean hotel. Nice pool and exercise room. Breakfast had many choices and staff were very friendly. We had a trailer with us so we had to park in the back overflow parking lot which was overgrown with trees and bushes and not very well lit. Close to shops, restaurants and beaches. read more

My daughter and I stayed here the night before we had to move her into UNH. We stayed here since the other hotels closer to campus were sold out. It's about a 20-25 minute drive to the campus This hotel was very convenient to downtown Portsmouth and next to the Kittery Outlet Mall. Staff was very friendly and the hotel was very clean. Weirdly, upon entering our room it smelled of old socks or dirty feet. It got better or we got used to it. Everything worked in the room and it came with a refrigerator and microwave. The hallways and hotel itself were very bright and cheerful. The complimentary breakfast was disappointing. The only warm dishes they had were eggs, sausage patties, and roasted potatoes. Didn't seem like many were eating it. The coffee had no taste. Lot of selection but not a lot of fresh items. Bagged muffins, Some fruit. Hotel was very expensive. We paid just over $450 for the night. However, it's competitive for the area. read more

First time staying here. When we had looked for hotels, we had found this to be a two star. But we always stay in a Hilton so we tried it. It was actually a really nice hotel. They have a heated saltwater pool, fitness center, microwave and fridge in the room, a big tv, a big walk-in shower (the shower head is opposite the knob to turn it on) . We had a view of the highway which kept me up part of the night but that's because I love to sleep in silence . Overall, it was a great stay. The only down fall was the breakfast. I know it's included, so I shouldn't complain. But for the most part it was packaged items; muffins, bagels, poptarts, fruit etc. They had what looked like omlets and sausages which still seemed unidentifiable. The staff at the front desk could've been a little friendlier but we were only there for the night. We'd stay there again. Besides the breakfast, we'd recommend. read more

Brand new hotel! Wonderful staff, clean rooms and common areas, and walking distance to Kittery outlets. Complimentary breakfast includes oatmeal, pastries, waffles, eggs, yogurt, fruit, bagels/toast.... and don't forget their evening homemade cookies!! The indoor pool is the perfect depth for young kids, from 3 feet up to 5 feet. Outdoor grills are available also. Beds and pillows are super comfy and towels are fluffy! I'd like to give this hotel a review. I left my jacket in the closet of our room upon leaving. 3 hrs later I called. A gentleman answered & gave us a very short "no" it's not here. He said he checked the room & housekeeping "no". (I sure wished I got his name). The next morning we called again & asked for a manager. We spoke with Conrad. He said he would check & call me back either way (found or not found). He called us about an hour later. They had my jacket & said when I come back (3 days later) it would be at the front desk. We returned today before the airport & it was there. The jacket was brand new...first trip with it. I applaud Conrad for taking the time to help a customer . I'm not giving a 5 star rate only because of the first gentleman did NOT take the time to help a customer. This place was very clean & newly renovated. I'd recommend. read more

Room was clean and nice but not ready when promised. Owner was bartending when I bought 2 drinks and charged them to room. THERE WAS A TIP JAR ON COUNTER, I TIPPED HIM! When I checked out next day and received my print out they charged me gratuity for the drinks, 7.60, that I had already tipped them for!! No sign anywhere that there was gratuity added automatically! And it was the owner with tip jar out! Totally pissed me off!! read more

Beautiful hotel! Rooms are big and spacious. The bedding and pillows were comfy. You can control the air in your room. Comes with a microwave and mini-fridge which was awesome. The complimentary breakfast is excellent. A lot to choose from, eggs, ham, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, waffle makers, etc. Easy access to the outlets they're right next door and across the street as well as kittery trading post. Perfect location. The only minor things that I didn't like was that there was no lock on the bathroom door. It's a sliding door which does slide open a little bit when you're in there. Second, we didn't have any curtains on our window just a shade, so the sun was brutal in the morning and woke us up. Other than that, we would definitely stay here again. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Promised transportation with room block for wedding. Despite numerous email confirmation of pickup and drop off times, no transportation was available of event. To date, I have received three different reasons why this was the case. What I have not received is any type of compensation for reserving over 20 rooms and Hampton Inn is responding only with "sorry". read more

Hotel was clean breakfast was ok but my room was 270 plus $75 for a dog for one night. I was not happy but felt they had me over a barrel. My dog is small and polite. Friendly and not left in the room. read more
